Environment: 5/5 beautiful outdoor seating in a garden with a pond. Great atmosphere. Peaceful and natural.Service: 4/5 all ordering down through the app which (due to covid) which is convenient and saves time. But, once the order is in it takes awhile just to get napkins or water refills. Wish the servers were a bit more attentive.Food: 4/5 the food is good but it’s not “knock my socks off worth $30” good. My burger had good flavors. The chips are too much and do not come with a dipping sauce or something to offset the huge pile of potato. Tacos have good flavor. You really should come here for the drinks though. The microbrew beers and even their non-alcoholic options are good.

Ive been to this place before and its quite wonderful. The contemporary construction and the gardens are amazing. The tour is a must! Im not a big fan of their food items but I cant speak for everyone. Unfortunately, reservations are now required during covid19 times. Dont bother showing up without one because they wont let you in.

The place is definitely in the top 5 for cool/unique restaurants I have been to. I honestly had some issues with the app used to order food but the servers were very helpful and took care of me anyways. There was also a big mistake with my food order, but again they stepped up, took responsibility and fixed the issue. Wonderful staff at a really cool spot definitely out weigh any snafus that could get in the way of a good time. Oh yeah, the food and drinks were great also!

Such a great atmosphere and the gardens are so nice. Even during this difficult time theyve figured out the social distancing. I recommend a reservation, we were on the wait list for quite awhile but were happy while we did so. The pretzel with beer cheese was yummy and my companion had the Bombay Burrito and gave it high marks!!

The vibe is awesome from the moment you walk from the parking lot to the interior of the restaurant. The interior design and landscaping is quite grand so expect to be impressed. The beer is very good but I have to say that the food does not hold up. I cannot recommend the tacos, if you know or think you know good tacos, avoid these. The burger is not bad but it’s not what you would expect from a place like this. I would like to suggest that they stop using the buns they are currently using for their burgers... a better bun will go a long way. The “chips” are average. The appetizers were pretty good though.Don’t expect to be wowed by the food but it is a nice place to spend time with good company. If you like Stone beer and want to catch a good vibe then you will like this place. If you are going here expecting a great tasting dinner then you will be disappointed.

Worst customer service experience I ever had. We were a big family 8+ adults with small children and we had to ask 5 times to have them turn on the space heaters that were around the tables as it was chilly. THEY NEVER TURNED THEM ON!!! Never going there again, they dont care about their customers enough for me to spend my money there. Plenty of other brewery places that are so much better. Avoid going here!

Great place to go to in the time of Covid! Stone has gone above and beyond to make the best of the situation.Dining is all outside in the garden but with the shade and umbrellas, I actually preferred it even if dining indoors was an option. The ordering via Tab online service makes everything easy; I was able to order drinks, food, and even refill my water without feeling like I was being bothersome or that I was being checked on.The food was amazing. I was bummed because traditional fries arent on the menu but the smushed potatoes are a good consolation. Potato was cooked to my specifications (med rare). The beer was cold and came with a little paper cover to protect from any contamination on the way from the tap to the table. We will definitely be coming back again and again.

This was my second time visiting the brewery headquarters and restaurant. The first time was years ago, well before this pandemic. They are doing such a good job that the experience wasnt all that different. The only exception was that my fish (fish & chips) was a little cold when it was served. However, given all the challenges they are jumping through flawlessly, I didnt mind. They are going far and beyond the norm with their precautions and it made me feel very safe. I miss the bar but understand why its closed. My only gripe is they dont brew enough of the pilsner and I had to drink a guest beer... It was far too hot for anything else and Im not a larger fan. Otherwise, I recommend you go, just make sure to make a reservation due to the dining restrictions relating to the pandemic.

I have been wanting to visit this brewery for a while. Now, a work project brought me nearby, and I stopped in for a great treat. First off, the ambiance is impressive: tall glass panels showcase lush outdoor dining garden areas. the whole interior is spacious and uniquely designed. The food selection is definitely gourmet yet very reasonably priced. Also, the staff was really friendly, and I had a great chat with Daniel (cool bartender). Overall, a great idea for casual or special occasion. Also, the beers on tap are definitely suitable to a wide taste range!

While I understand Covid no contact policies, the Escondido location goes above and beyond the no contact policy! Lol. The staff only came once and that was to bring us our plates that we ordered online from the table via phone. We were out of water and couldnt get more because they never came back! There is a concierge type request for your server on their menu order app, but it took so long for our server to show up. We were done eating. It was weird.

After walking through a tree covered path and entered the door to the brewery, I felt like I walked into another world!Because we arrived before rush hours, we were sat down quickly and even had a choice between inside/outside seatings. Too bad that there was a private event that day and we didn’t get to check out the garden area. Incredible setting, great beer as always, service good, food was good but no salsa for tacos ! Understood if we were in DF in a fine dining setting but still. Online ordering is great dont get me wrong and even a must, but we cant be leaving out regular condiments folks. ie Salsa for tacos, bbq sauce for tendors, dressing side for salad, etc. Even if its a regular restaurant fine, but a place where you drink and want your customers to drink, you cant expect them to remember all the condiments with food. Especially if theyre paying a premium already. Maybe just my own peeve but when you got kids or other things to focus on, by the time you order your condiments it makes it all not worth the extra ask and then you find yourself settling for descent food.

We ordered a flight and 2 other 5oz to try out, a taco flight, burger, and a side of their delicious Mac N Cheese. They are perfectly following the Covid guidelines and we felt safe. Food was awesome, beer was obviously awesome. Our favorites were Space Bar Friends and Wizards and Gargoyles. We then went to the shop to purchase 3 cans. The people there were very knowledgeable of the flavor profiles we were looking for and friendly. Beautiful experience and I can’t wait to visit again!

Huge disappointment. As someone that went to Stone on a regular basis prior to Covid, I was curious to going back, as I had heard rumors about the new procedures.Stone has gotten rid of most of the regular waitstaff and replaced with food runners. They are not utilizing any of their huge indoor area or bar area in even making accommodations for the 6 feet apart rule like many other places do. They seat you in outside area and there are procedures on your table for scanning you order into a QR code through your phone. You have to pay for your food ahead of time and they charge you an automatic 20% tip. Each time you want another beer, you have to start another tab and they charge you the 20% again. There’s not even any justification for that tip because you have runners who are just dropping off your food and drinks. Our food and drinks took about 30 to 40 minutes to get each time. Food was cold and beers warm and flat. Such a horrible experience. Don’t bother going to this place, especially right now. For the idea that you want to be able to go back into a restaurant to enjoy the normalcy of that experience, they have ruined it beyond all measures.

A hidden little gem. Food was good and beers were cold. With a party of six we had a few different options to sample. The ribs fell off the bone, the corn had full size kernels in it, which I personally rather enjoy. The fish was battered just enough to hold the flavors. Then dipped into their sauces.. yum. The different selection of tacos will cover your taste from a vegan Rasta to carne asada. Salad portions were large enough to share. The fried Brussels sprouts were done right with thick bacon to add a savory flavor. Plus.. a giant pretzel! But the cherry on top was the atmosphere. Nestled into a converted industrial area is a very Zen quiet and clean seating area. Providing lots of shade and beautiful scenery a mini stream and beautiful fish pond is included. Your greeted by a friendly staff member upon arrival. The only learning curve is the self ordering and payment system they have in place, but if youve ever shopped on-line before then this should be a breeze for you. The prices are competitive to other eaterys in the area, but others dont offer the ambiance like Stone Brewing.Make a reservation and book early!

I love this place. The beer, of course, is fantastic. That goes without saying since its probably why youre coming here. But the food is amazing too; and the environment... stunning. The garden is beautiful. It is so relaxing to sit in this little slice of paradise and unwind with your family and friends. This was our second visit and Ashley helped us this time. (We live in Las Vegas by the way and these visits were not during the same trip. This is practically a vacation destination in and of itself to us). Ashley was just amazing. Super friendly, great beer suggestions, and when I ignored her when she told me the short rib grilled cheese sandwich was rather hot, she kindly brought me ice cream to quench the flames so I could at least finish one half of it. (Its called Hellfire Cheese for a reason folks. It was really good but ++REALLY++ darn hot, for me at least). The Duck Al Pastor tacos that my wife got were both delicious and, as a bonus, didnt try to melt my face. The desserts are fabulous too. How does Blueberry Blue Cheese Jalapeno Cheesecake sound? A little funky you say? It is. In a good way. How about salted caramel cookie ice cream sandwiches? They are absolutely perfect after trying hellfire cheese for the first time, believe me. Or dont believe me. Just come try it for yourself.

Nice place. We first sat inside. The service was friendly. The decor is very modern. Lively. The beers were pretty good. We drink Stone at home occasionally so going to the brewery was quite a treat. They even offer non Stone beers. The menu was 90% IPAs. A few of the medium to darker beers were out. We ordered the ahi nachos. Fresh. A bit spicy. After eating we took a look outside. There is another bar with a patio. A few more steps is a mobile beer station. In their pretty garden. We ordered a couple more apps to try. This is where we were a little disappointed. Our food got delivered to the station. The beertender decided not to take the extra step and drop off the order to our table... only steps away. He was not busy at all. Just plain lazy. When my husband walked to get our food he noticed that other peoples orders were just sitting there. Out in the open. Who knows for how long. Terrible. Sad that some servers do the bare minimum and still expect a tip. No. The last two items of food we ordered were also spicy, but good. Will we go back? Probably not. But it is a nice place to check out for the first time.

It’s $5 and you get tasters at the end a a taster glass to take home. Tour guy was funny and entertaining. Food isn’t the best because they try to be too trendy and contemporary with the fusions which didn’t turn out well like the Peruvian chickens and Japanese katsu chicken. Guide rushed through it, but I think most people are ok with just skipping to the tasting. We also had the food and I thought it was ok. The Angry Chicken sandwich I got was a bit plain and did not taste freshly made. The chicken was couldve had a bit more of the gochujang glaze and the kimchi coleslaw shouldve had more kimchi to it (less of whatever else is put in it). Unfortunately, the chicken was also in between two large, dry pieces of bread which I ended up just removing. All in all, hard to say its worth $15.Their pretzel, tacos, and karaage appetizers were fine. The waitress did let give us a free taster of beer when we ordered too. I didnt like it, but the gesture was nice.Long story short - come for a beer and skip the food.

My expectations were very high and Stone really let me down. There only reason why I have two stars is because the facility is beautiful but the service and food isnt great.I showed up at 3 pm for dinner with a party of 8 and they told us they werent about accepting any large parties but we could sit in the garden... On the way to the garden we noticed that half of the place was empty. We decided to just make reservations for the following day and come back. After confirming my reservation of 8 in the morning we show up for dinner only 10 minutes prior to my reservation. Although not busy they made us wait until 10 minutes after out reservation to be seated to a table for 7, one seat less than we reserved. The host didnt even notice and took off. Thats not even the worst part, this is a brewery that doesnt offer a hamburger or fries. The menu was extremely overpriced and the food wasnt even good. Most things were vegetarian and upwards of $20 a plate. Im extremely disappointed in this place and I will not be back.

There is no better place to taste an incredible selection of beers while enjoying a lush and relaxing garden with waterfall, stream and large pond.

Delicious food. Meat was cooked perfectly, melts in mouth. Great beers and location. Lots of space, especially for kids. Staff was very friendly. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

Great atmosphere with plenty of space in the beer garden to hang out. I like sitting by the fire pits & koi ponds. Food & beer is delicious. Clean bathrooms, big parking lot & friendly staff. Recommend the brewery tour if you get a chance.
