I have been taking my granddaughters to Felicita park since they were 2 and 3, its their favorite park, Nana likes it too, so far its safe and clean, thank you park rangers.

Normally we LOVE Felicita Park. We were so happy the parks have reopened that we went straight over. Between both playgrounds only 1 other family was wearing masks (out of maybe 10 families). Seriously?! They need to post park rangers on the playgrounds to enforce safety regulations until this has become a habit for people. It was disgraceful!

Been coming here since I was a kid. Felicita has beautiful trails to walk and good playgrounds for younger kids. The shade and breezes make it an excellent spot to cool off on a hot day.

I hated this park 5 stars, reason being, now people will know about this hidden gem. Its a big park with plenty of shade trees, walkways, trails and a stream. You can also find a kids playground. Wish we had a park like near my city. $3 all parking with in & out privileges.

This is a great place for any venue, very pulled away from the loudness of the city, nature is strong in the park. My wife and I went for the Ren Faire taking place and it was fantastic. The park is very delightful, rangers always around ensuring its safe and orderly. Will visit again for just the park.

Love this park. Is a natural wildlife park. Trails to walk on, tiny creeks, many trees. Its clean, the rangers there are very friendly and helpful. Nice place to have a picnic with family. Only complaint I have is the daily $3.00 fee but if you live close enough like me you can walk there and avoid the fee. All together I love it!

I come to Felicita Park to go to the Escondido Renaissance Faire. The Faire is relatively small, but it still has a lot of booths with actual crafts-folk offering their creations. The last couple of times they have even had actual jousts--on horseback with real lances.

Ro
Review №69

Probably the best park in San Diego County. A year-round stream trickles through the center of the park which feeds century-old oak trees and makes for a lovely setting. Both playground areas have been recently upgraded and have some really awesome equipment. The only downside is that there isnt any good trails for walking/running any substantial distance. The trails that do exist are great for short, casual walks but if this place had a more well-defined trail going around the entire perimeter of the park, I would be here every day for exercise, because it is hard to walk in this neighborhood due to no sidewalks.

This park surprised me. It was laid out very well, and none of the different picnic areas interfered with any other. The walking trail was well marked and the informational signs explained about the Native Americans that originally lived in the area. I saw two play areas and one of them was geared for toddlers. The little children were having a great time on equipment built just for them. There also appeared to be stage/performance area.

I have been in Rancho Bernardo in for almost 10 years, but never got a chance to visit this gem. It is so rare to find a such a dense green park in San Diego. This place is full of events all the time, almost every weekend. The recent one I attended is Ship in the woods. Its 50-acre oak grove of Felicita County Park in Escondido, situated in North County San Diego.Admission is $3 and plenty of parking and restrooms. Especially they are CLEAN bathrooms very well maintained. One other standout features is . there is an alcohol friendly area. Also, there is a huge gazebo with electrical plugs for fun. This place is very family and kids friendly.A SHIP IN THE WOODS its a inaugural music and art festival within the, merging world class talented artist with local San Diego artists. Also, there was bands playing very diverse groups including indie-rock, punk, rock, hip-hop and lot of experimental electronic music. This park has kids play area, which is not the best, but to have a swing in middle of nature is amazing. I will come here often now.

I really love this park. Theres trails to hike but no bike paths to ride dew to conservation. Two creeks that flow into one through the park year round that help feed Lake Hodges. But I have to admit the do have a rodent problem in the picnic table areas. Very nice and large play area for kids and toddlers with a lot of large grassy areas to lounge about or play ball sports on.

There are two playgrounds in the park and they are both fun, clean playgrounds. One of them had a great shade structure and a large field for running around. There are also fun trails to explore the park and enjoy nature. The is had always been clean and I felt safe. The only bummer is the $3 parking fee, but its worth it.

This park was great. Its huge and is good for walks. The only thing I would say safety wise is I wouldnt come alone. There was lots of brush and trees surrounding the area so it would be easy for some creep to hide. Aside from that had a good time playing at their tot playground lots of activities .

Nice park. Appears to be catering toward large events like weddings and company picnic, but we rode our bicycles from lot Carson park to check out Felicita park on a Wednesday morning. We were the only people there. It is nicely maintained and has some beautiful spots. Some of the trails are better for hiking than biking. Impressive kids climbing structures, too. Parking is expensive, I think, but bicycle entrance is free.
