I’m biased because I live three houses away, but come on. This is a fantastic city park. There are walking trails, coyotes, owls, humans, a creek, some big trees, and plenty of flora & fauna. My personal favorite is the outdoor pool, open during the summer months.

This is a nice escape from concrete, but there were a few issues that left me wanting. I went the day after a fairly good rain, so keep that in mind, but it was pretty muddy in areas (see photos). If I were to go again, I’d avoid the trail along Main Street, since that was the muddiest and had the most road noise of all of the areas of this park. The middle of the park had some nice boardwalks and bridges, but also several stairs (more pictures), in case that’s something you’d like to avoid. There are also some great, wide, compact gravel parts of the trail.Pretty area and if you’re close it’s worth a visit.

Yost Park is a good size park for an hour walk, with lots of green cover, so you feel very comfortable in a hot day. Trails are easy to follow, well paved.

Would give 5 stars for being such a beautiful park & forest if it werent for the logging that happened in the early 1800s. Those trees used to be 200+ feet tall, it was a lush place. Let us regrow our forests

This park is great for walking, running, tennis, and swimming. It has a play structure for kids, but the park is mostly undeveloped woods with trails. Theres a stream that kids love to play in.

Easy walk but when rain, bring good hiking boots for grip. Beautiful with several hikes to choose from. There is no map on the site which is very odd! The bridges are picture perfect. Kids will enjoy the jungle gym and Park area. Trails surround Tennis and pool. Plenty of parking. Entrance to trails are not noted and very confusing as to where to begin but you cant go wrong going left or right, just go. Super easy and quick hike.

If youre burning up and need to cool down, Yost Park is one of the shadiest spots around. I dont mean shady as in shady business, i mean its a really cool park with low temperature because its surrounded by trees.

A good place for a walk in nature. Even though its in the middle of Edmonds, once you get on a trail its like being in your own little piece of wilderness.

Ive been going to Yost Park for years. Its an excellent place for a walk, especially during the Spring when the new-growths coming in. During the Summer, the trees provide plenty of shade.Theres also a small owl population living in the area. You can catch them sometimes during twilight.Theres a ravine that runs through most of the park. It can get pretty wet and muddy during rainy Falls and Winters. However, there are a couple of bridges to help keep your feet dry. I believe these were made by a local Boyscout troop at some point. I think theres an info plaque near the bridge that says who made it.All in all, I highly recommend going here, especially during Spring and Summer. Bring a friend or a pet! Though dont forget to clean up after your pet!

What a great park! It has just about everything - trails to walk with your family, tennis/pickleball courts and a public pool managed by the Y. It does not have a good play structure. You can tell it was built years ago and is not to code of other structures built in the last few years. This park is a family favorite!

Just a couple minutes east of downtown Edmonds, this park catches one off guard with the amount of natural area it manages to tuck away within its boundaries. Yost does offer a community pool, but the rest of the park is a series of trails that wind through a hilly forest, at times following the stream that runs through. If you feel yourself yearning to get away for a nice hike or just wanting to spend some time out in nature, this park is an excellent choice if you dont have the time for an extended getaway.

Serene little get away in the middle of Edmonds, (a community pool and park with a small playground)Seemingly always well kept by the community and a popular spot for a nature stroll, optional hill climbing, walking your companions. When im not sure what Im missing in life and want a close by place to think I go to Yost.Sights included but are not limited to, a runoff stream, bridges, an open straight path and denser windy paths connecting main Street and Bodouin*.Also probably a good place for bird watching there has always been a family of owls you might have the pleasure of meeting.

Nice little park. Cute, clean....But as for the port a potty which is the only bathroom. (Not complaining atleast there is somewhere to go! :) )It says to go see the superintendent for a toilet seat cover for extra $$$! You really have to pay for a toliet seat cover!?! I get they dont want them wasted or whatever. But to pay for one is lil ridiculous in my opinion!
