This is a nice place to go relax in the summer. There are plenty of trails to help you get some steps and a good workout out, but more importantly you can climb up the Enger tower and have breathtaking view of the Duluth harbour, Lake Superior and the surrounding hills. When I went here, there was a mobile coffee and snacks truck there where you could buy refreshments.

Climbing the tower is also lots of fun and enjoyable for the whole family. The large volume of trails make this an awesome location if you enjoy hiking and outdoor adventures so bring the whole family and make a fun day of it.

Enger Park and Tower is a beautiful place to watch the ships come in. Located on the Duluth West side and a site once known as Grand Mountain. Picnic areas, walking trails, bathrooms, climbing rocks, flower gardens and even a portable coffee shop. The American-Japanese peace bell is also featured. Come enjoy the fresh air and let the sites take your breath away.

The tower gives a really beautiful view of the area. There were vendors near the bottom with food and snacks. Restrooms and picnic areas were all available. Plenty of shade if you need it and the trail was very scenic. There is also a rich history on the bronze plaques if you care to learn about that and are willing to take the time to read them.

This park is great if you can make it up the hills. The view of the Painted Ladies Victorian houses is awesome as well as the view into downtown. It is off-leash dog friendly too. Ive spent afternoons reading, soaking up a little sun from this little haven.

Great spot to stretch your legs and walk around. The Japanese garden is tranquil and serene. There are no bathroom facilities open due to the pandemic. It is hard to manage walking up the tower as it does not allow room to social distance and no other guests were wearing masks there. We decided not to go up the tower as we have done so before. The view is beautiful from the tower and the lookout point.

This is a beautiful park with lots of space to spread out and have a picnic. You get a good view of Duluth and the lift bridge without climbing the tower. The tower is all stone with cement stairs. There arent windows in the openings so steps do get wet. The gardens are gorgeous and well kept. There are normally fully operational restrooms, but with covid19 there are port a potties

Enter Tower is always on are must stop list when in Duluth. A senic drive on skyline parkway, with its fun to drive curves, and awesome views, followed by a stop at Enger Tower to see its spectacular views of Lake Superior, and Duluth. A walk through its trails, then to ring the bell in the Japanese garden. The best way to finish a trip to the north shore.

Nice walk in the park for fresh air. Cool tower to ascend and enjoy the 360 degree views of Duluth. Witnessed couples having picnics, and families enjoying the outdoors. Definitely a nice place to go for a walk/jog or to leisurely enjoy the outdoors with friends/family. Ice cream truck was in the parking lot to help people cool off on a hot summer day

Beautiful park with tons of history and amazing views!!! Climb the tower for 360 degree view of Duluth. Ring the Peace/Friendship bell. Take a picture from the beautiful pergola like patio that overlooks Lake Superior and the Lift Bridge. Great trails for hikes or walks, tons of vegetation, flowers and shade provided by the trees. Benches to enjoy a view and a note to eat or a great book.

A definite must see when in Duluth. Amazing stone masons built a beautiful tower with spectacular views .... I would say somewhere from 20 to 30 miles out you can look all the way to Wisconsin. And you can venture out and sit atop a huge rock formation if you a lil more adventurous. The scenic outlook just before the park is BREATHTAKING!

When you need a view to check out how beautiful Duluth really is, Enger Park is one of many. My family and I came up here to take family photos and boy did they come out amazing! The tower itself, part of our amazing history as a city, is a beautiful 30 foot tower that sits on top of a hill looking down to the city. It has one of the most amazing views especially at night when you can get a glimpse of Bentleyville all lit up. Check it out, you won’t regret it. Feel free to add me Facebook or Instagram for more pics.

If youre looking for an excuisite view of Duluth and the harbor, I suggest taking a little drive and then a little hike on up to Enger Park. We were here in early March, so the tower was closed up, so just imagine what the views would have been from up there. There were a few younger folks climbing on the gate and over to get in. I dont suggest that though. Overall, I would definitely come back when it warms up to see what the view is like from the tower.
