Nice intimate place without the hustle bustle and noise of a big theatre. Still feels big on the screen. Nice change from the top 40 type theatres.

Great place to see a movie in Duluth. What is better than having a great beer selection along with the popcorn? Wide screen with comfortable seats. Theater is connected to a very good restaurant.

This is a unique theater and bar with excellent food and craft cocktails. The staff really knows what theyre doing. This is one of my favorite places to visit in Duluth.

Duluth is so fortunate to have the trio of Zeitgeist businesses and Zeitgeist is lucky to have such a treasured place I the Duluth community. A wonderful theater with wonderful staff. They do not have the dream loungers that big name theaters do, but on a slow night, whoevers working is usually happy bring a refill of fresh popcorn directly to you or talk about upcoming community events.

My favorite movie theater mostly because of the indie films it hosts. Lots of movies that are usually far off the beaten track for the average theater. Beer is a plus and the projectors have never seemed off!

We had a fantastic time. Dinner was good. I had an salad and the crab cake burger without a bun. All was good but the crab cake had alot of salt and I couldnt eat it. I gave them 4 stars because I dont know how many times Ive added a bit to much salt. Otherwise the food was amazing. I loved the herb aioli. This is a very cool place

Usually I have had a great experience here, but tonight was different. I bought 3 tickets to tonights showing of Parasite, and when the 3 of us got there, we were informed that when you buy Zinema tickets on Fandango, they dont go through to Zinemas ticketing system. Which means that, even though I bought the tickets well in advance, they had already sold out and there were no more seats available. Very disappointing. The cashier guy was very nice and gave us free movie and snack vouchers, but cmon this should never have happened lol. Get your damn online ticket system together, Zinema

This is the second time we have been here, and once again, we were NOT disappointed! We were able to attend a showing of Willow here, and Winters Bone!!!! Each time has been a treasured memory! The ONLY bad part about it was that the popcorn was a bit salty. Otherwise, GREAT experience! If you get the chance, GO!!!! Thanks for a great night and a great new memory!!!!

Such a unique place! A relatively intimate setting with some interesting showings. Their concessions are a breath of fresh air, as well! Although a bit expensive, you might just get to try a sweet youve never had before! I had a $7 chocolate bar with cocoa nibs that was so rich and decadent ! Yum!

Terrific small theater with great selections of indie films and other movies that havent been on the big screen for many years. Highly recommend!

A complete evening of fun all in one building, wonderful dining with terrific food along with either one of the 2 movie theaters or take in a play live on stage. I highly recommend for a great date night.

I loved the wide screen. The theater wasnt huge, but that is great for people. The elevator for getting there is also helpful.

The zinema offers an experience you wont find at other theaters. The staff are friendly, the food is great, and they offer a variety of different drinks to enjoy.

Very cool little theater. They get a lot of the indie movies the big theaters dont so look here before giving up on finding a movie youre interested in.

Always trying to do something fun and unique in Duluth, they may also place a niche movie youre interested in but the chain movie theaters arent playing. They do fun events every now and then too. Be sure to check it out at least once if youre in Duluth.

Had the rosemary chicken. It was quite good. Then saw a movie at Zinema.

Such a great little indie theater. They dont have a parking lot but you can park on the street or they validate for a ramp 2 blocks away. Its always very neat and tidy and you can have an adult beverage during the film. It tends to be an older crowd that dont use their cell phones during the movies and the staff are super pleasant!

Once Upon A Time This Place Was Cool.

I love this movie theater. Only two screens, theyre almost always playing something that isnt in other theaters, and the tween crowd, who always try to convince you theyre mom totally said they could watch the R rated movie but couldnt be there in person to buy them the tickets so could you please help out, arent at Zinema. This place is for grownups, so grab a beer or glass of wine and go enjoy a movie made for people who arent interested in texting with their besties through the whole thing.

One of my favorite places to go. Great films you wont find in the other theaters, the snack bar offers different choices and at much better prices than mainstream theaters, wonderful atmosphere and the goofy pre-show before the previews have to be experienced!

The movies here are always awesome. the small area for seating makes it so there are no bad seats and you can really enjoy the movie. Be able to have Popcorn With REAL BUTTER not process oil of some type is one of it up sides along with the general atmosphere. I will always prefer here.

Great independent cinema with great movies that are not usually blockbusters. Have dinner before or after the movie at the Zeitgeist Cafe.

Place is honestly pretty cool. Beer and movies?? And popcorn?? You can even rent out a movie theatre for your friends birthday and watch dead alive.

They have a poor movies selection. They make an effort to offer a selection of movies that are not mainstreaming and that is very good but they just pick hyper boring movies.

I love coming to this theater. It usually has great, not your mainstream type movies that I wouldnt normally get to watch, love the brownies and the whole atmosphere of the building.
