Decent for the price. Not every theater is up to par but you get what you pay for. They have pretty good candy and snack choices and service is usually friendly. Prices are $3 for a regular movie and $5 for 3d which is pretty cool. Bathrooms are a bit dirty but that can be addressed by management. Overall I give it a 7/10.

Havent been here in a while, but when I did go the person who took the tickets had to go through my purse. I have never been in a movie theater where thats happened before, that was annoying. Also it seems like an older movie theater, and the floors are always sticky. On the other hand its a really good place to see a movie thats not brand new. And it has a really good price too.

Cheap movies...cheap and tasty concessions. Not bad, really. Plus, their seats are newer. Yay! Yes, they do check bags on anyone, regardless of your gender/age. With movie ticket prices SOOOOO CHEAP, they would lose revenue if people kept bringing in food/drinks/candy/snacks from outside. And, we know wed do it if they didnt check bags. It doesnt bother me. You always have the option to go elsewhere if you dont want your purse being searched. Jeeeeeeze.

This use to be a cheaper price I think $1.75 now its $3.50 but that’s still a good deal. There are three ways to get into this location. The bathroom was pretty clean. The popcorn was good a large for $6. With a free refill. There was one line open at first with four employees. Finally they opened a second register. You can purchase tickets online now which is great. The seats were dirty and one seat couldn’t get cleaned so we had to sit apart. The food counter was also dirty and I let the cashier know, but I’m not sure if she even cleaned it. I like the amount of space between each row, even though a kid still managed to hit my chair three times while running through the theater. You can also enjoy a few arcade games before or after your movie. There’s a variety of movies to choice from. Enjoy!

Love this place! The workers are super nice. You go a couple of times and they welcome you like friends. My husband and I take our 3 boys there all the time for family outings without breaking the bank. Everyone enjoys it.

This is the best place to catch a movie if youre on a tight budget. They are $3.50 for non 3-D and $5 for 3-D. Theyve never been too crowded the five times Ive visited. For an older non franchised theater, its well kept. The sound and picture quality are pretty good. Love the place mainly because they havent been crowded since Ive been going.

I would give this place zero stars if I could I went to a movie parked in a well lit place and still had my car broken into. This place has no sufficient security to protect paying customers stay away pay a few more bucks go to a movie with some sort of security.

This place is amazing to visit at night. I am certain many drug deals and murders happen here. The theater was as shady as can be and so was the employees. This just enhanced the overall experience. The theatre itself was by far more entertaining than the movie.

Affordable 3 dollars movies, snacks are good priced and fresh made. Everyone have a smile is good to see people who likes their job. Cinema is clean, restrooms are well maintained. Movie theaters are big enough and sound is very nice. Recommended to all!

Always a good place to catch up on movies for the low! If you pay with cash though you have to have exact change but they do take cards. They also do not have stadium seating just a regular movie theater but I like it!

When we paid the tickets and was getting ready to go inside the door, it was locked. WTF? They finally opened the door. The concession stand was closed. The only thing good about the experience was the person I was with and the Movie. At least something went right that night.

3 dollar movies? Whats not to like? Granted, its usually a cheesy family flick and they put extra commercials at the beginning. Its a great place to take the kids with a 10 dollar bill.

Ive been coming here for 20 years. Venture is a low cost movie house. The place is always clean. The refreshments are kinda expensive, and the guy at the ticket booth is always snooty, no matter who he is.

Great food is not as expensive as other theaters got a lot better. You get a lot more bang for $3 I remember when it used to be $2 Lol. Theres no way you could complain with these prices.

Great place to get a chance for movies that left the main theater for a cheaper price. The seats are comfortable. The snack bar has a variety. I got the nachos and the cheese stayed so hot and nice.

The seats has been redone and they are leveled so if youre short it may be difficult to see good. For $3.50 not bad. Large popcorn and large drink was $10 with one refill. Great! If youre watching your budget. It was clean, staff was friendly and it wasnt busy on a Sunday. My only critique some of the previews were old like 2013.

My childhood movie theater!!! I’ve been coming here since the movies were literally a dollar and have been ever since!!! They’ve upgraded a lot as the years have gone by. Great movies & overall comfy!! Make sure if your a cold person you bring a sweater. They do check bags. Book bags are not allowed. Outside food is not allowed. It’s always a great time !!!

This theatre is dated but clean. The seats are comfortable. The staff is friendly and movies here are economically priced and fits all budgets.

What can I say? Its cheap, reasonably clean and the movies are older. Last time I went, there was a dent on the middle of the screen that was annoying. But the food is ok and its a good value

Very cheap I actually come here about once a week but seriously y’all need new employees . Last night I went to go see a movie but the theater has no movie showing . So me and my bf went back up to ask politely if there was an issue and the WHITE OLD EMPLOYEE started yelling at US because we didn’t have a movie WE PAID for ..... ummm anyways I had to hold back my bf because Old man was about to get hit. I used to go to this cinema years ago but stopped going because the seats were so uncomfortable.To my surprise, they upgraded the seats, the popcorn was buttery and delicious and the prices are inexpensive.Most of the movies are somewhat older but for only $3.50 per movie its worth it.Give this cinema a try, its a great deal for movie night for the entire family. Its a friendly fun environment and youll enjoy yourself!

My experience was ok. The movie ticket costs $3.50 and $5.00 for 3-D. The seats are leather and you can lean back a little. The seats are all on the same level none are raised/higher. You will catch movies at this theater after they have left the big theaters and before they go to Red Box. They ask you to open your purse, they want you to buy their concession options. My experience was disrupted with a mother turning on her phone flashlight, trying to look for something her child dropped.

An okay location for relatively cheap entertainment. The employees are generally friendly and the theater relatively clean. The area the theater is in is pretty shady though these days and I certainly keep my guard up when I go there.

I was surprised by how quickly both lines at the box office and concession stand moved. Popcorn and drinks are much less expensive than first run theaters and taste the same to me. Seating in the auditoriums is basic but comfortable enough. A good choice for an economical way to see a movie.

This is the best value cinema in the area! They have great deals at the snack bar like kids packs, value packs (eg. Lg popcorn, Lg coke $10 with a free refill).

The Cinema is simple and comfortable. Nothing like the new updated ones. This location is like the cinemas were when I was a kid. Yes, 40 years ago. High back chairs but they recline and more comfortable. No stadium seating but no problem seeing the screen. Let me tell you this. Movies are $3.50 per person. We have 4 in our family and it cost us $21. Thats 4 tickets. 4 Lg. drinks. Lg popcorn and on burnt pretzels. I bought the tickets on line and Honey gave me an additional discount. SNAP!!We will be back again.

I had the absolute rudest customer experience of my life at Venture Cinema. I came the theater around noon to buy some tickets for later that evening, but found the box office was closed. I saw that the first movie started at 3:50pm so I figured it would be safe to return about 30 minutes before the first movie started.. surely they would be open by then. When I returned at 3:23pm and stood in front of the box office where an employee, male, late 40s, was sitting in front of the cash register looking at his phone, I was just ignored, not even slightly acknowledged. After several moments of just standing there, I asked if I could buy some tickets. This guy looks up from his phone for half a second and says in the rudest tone of voice possible THREE THIRTY and goes straight back to looking at his phone. I then asked So youre going to make me stand here for 7 minutes before youll sell me a ticket? and he barely looks at me again and says YEAH in a snotty, annoyed tone. I explained that I was already there earlier in the day and asked where the manager was. THE MANAGER IS INSIDE was his response, and when I asked him to get the manager he firmly responded NO!. At this point I demanded that he get the manager because he has absolutely no right or reason to speak to me the way he was as a customer service representative for the business. He brought back a teenage girl who said she was the manager. I could barely explain why I requested to speak to a manager without the box office employee yelling over top of me and saying I was the problem. I reminded both him and the manager that I was the customer and they are the employees, and you shouldnt speak to customers that way because the customers are the reason the theater stays in business and the reason the employees have a job. I asked the manager to kindly sell me a ticket, and she said her system wasnt going to be up until 3:30, so I asked to speak to the general manager... to which she replied that SHE was the general manager... which I find incredibly hard to believe because she had no idea how to resolve a customer service issue, and she didnt even know how to ring up a movie ticket, the box office employee had to help her. I left the theater completely astonished as to the way I was treated by the staff there for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

First and last time here. Manager was late so they couldnt open the theater. Showtime for the movie I came to see had long since passed. People waiting for at least 30 minutes before Id even gotten there. Unprofessional. Any business no matter if its a discount theater or a first run theater should hold itself to the same standard. At least open on time.

All movies are $3.50... I saw Widows today and it was amazing!!! At this theatre, do not expect wide seat or reclining seats. It is clean movie theatre that is connected to a discount Latino Mall (Santa Fe). It is safe, hut again, do not expect atmosphere of one of those very inviting or new IMAX Theaters...but I do recommend it! Many diverse patrons!

Per the previous reviews Im glad I caught the cinema after they received new seats. The pricing for the movies is nice, but the movie started at 1:15 and the commercials went on until 1:30 then MOVIE TRAILORS came on. The concession prices seemed high to me so it made it feel like the $3.50 for entry was negated .

This place was terrible. We went to watch a movie that had a start time of 3:55 p.m. The movie (including the ads and previews) did not start until 4:30! The pretzel was dry. If the pretzel is going to be dry, at least serve it with cheese or something. Please start movies earlier than 30 minutes than the promised start time.

For $3.50 a ticket, this theater is worth visiting. Its not your standard movie theater with imax, real D, or what have you but its nice for a cheap night out with friends. I recommend this place for anyone with a free night and $5.

Venture Cinema has been an iconic part of this part of Duluth for years. Back when it was in Venture Mall (Now Santa Fe Mall). I always enjoy coming to the theater and grabbing some fresh popcorn and not spending more than $10.00. The management and staff at Venture Cinema are great and always provide good service. One of the best discount theaters in the state. They have just upgraded there seats and they now lean back, though only slightly, and are big and comfortable. It is nice to get to see a movie on the big screen if you dont want to spend an arm and a leg or you missed it while it was in its original release.Also, the snack bar is not half bad either, but it is a little pricey for a discount theater.

I love that the movie tickets are just $3.50. However, I feel the concessions are too pricey. Other than that, its an awesome deal.

The theatre was clean, seats were comfortable and bathrooms were also clean. There was no hot water in the bathroom to wash hands and some of the soap dispensers didnt have soap, but the overall experience was good.
