We rented a theater for my birthday. This included 6 adults, two toddlers, and my newborn. Almost the entire point of renting a private theater was for my kids to be able to play while we watched a movie. A woman other than our server scolded us loudly while waving her arms around in the middle of the movie for letting our kids play. Our server, meanwhile had no apparent issue with it and was lovely. Otherwise, the server was quick to help us with particular requests, like turning down the volume so as not to upset my newborn and turning up the lights a touch so we could visually track the young ones playing. Overall great, minus being scolded for utilizing the room we paid $150 to rent before the cost of tickets and food.EDIT: I left my phone behind. Grace the GM found, charged, and sanitized it. Then left it for me to pick up at the ticket counter. Above and beyond.

One of my favorite places to watch both new movies and eclectic selections. Video Vortex is a must see, and its a good place for drinks (overpriced but thats how they gotta do it) and in the bar, the live entertainment is great too. A really unique place where you can see the Handsome Little Devils (live vaudeville), silent film, classics, foreign remakes, fan and found film, and whatever lastest thing is out. The food and service during the movie is excellent as long as you dont use your phone.

Here are 5 reasons why Alamo is my favorite place to see movies, period, bar none:1: No Concessions Line: You order food and drinks directly to your table by displaying an order card (or online ahead of time right now, because of the pandemic)2: No Talking: They will kick out out. There’s a funny ad for it before the movie. Thankfully we’ve never had a problem with loud people.3: The Pre-Show: For certain big, new releases or old, nostalgia showings, Alamo puts together custom pre-shows. My favorite was for the newest Terminator; they showed snippets of knockoff Terminators from abroad and it was both hilarious and interesting.4: Comfortable Seating: The reclining chairs are plush and feature a table every other chair.5: Paper and Pen: This is more personal preference, but, my boyfriend and I like to write notes to each other during movies to avoid talking, so the supplied order cards and pens come in really handy. The soft lighting under the tables is a great help, too!Can’t wait until the subscription is back up and running so we can see even more movies!

Amazing movie theatre! Comfy seats, nice atmosphere and good quality of picture and sound. Liked everything. Also there are a few nice places to eat, a pretty convenient place overall.

Nice quaint, modern theater, a good variety in movie selections. They have a small parking lot with off street parking.

Honestly had a very bad experience. The seats in my wife’s smart car are more comfortable.Also all the theaters I’ve been to in my life the temperatures are pretty great. This one is hotter the Moab in august. me and The guys next to me were dripping in sweat...The manager there was cool and gave me a refund

Best place to watch movies. They enforce no talking and texting rules. They have good food and timely service without interupting the viewing experience. My husband and my favorite place to watch movies.

We went twice in September and felt totally safe, in terms of Covid. The service was fabulous and food was delicious. Highly recommend!

The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Sloans Lake theater provides the perfect cinematic experience. I appreciate that most of the people here are film fanatics who are serious about being respectful while the movie is playing.

Its a really cool place... but, HOLY COW! Dont order anything. $15 for a 8 oz can of rose. Wowzers. I was utterly shocked when I got the bill.

Alamo Drafthouse is doing a great job adapting to the pandemic. Other theaters should look at them as an example when adjusting their own venues. Also, ordering food when you reserve your tickets cuts down on the interruptions before & during the movie. Really looking forward to the return of the full menu, though. Keep up the good work, Alamo!

We watched How to Train a Dragon for my granddaughter’s birthday celebration. The staff was extremely kind and generally quick to respond to our needs. The COVID-19 protocols were evident, especially in the level of sanitation in environment. I definitely plan to see other movies here.

Great line up of all different kinds of programming, food is good if a little pricey. The servers are always polite and quick. One of the best parts of the Alamo is the phone policy. They WILL throw you out after being warned once for using your cell during the movie. Every crowd Ive seen is well behaved and courteous. Makes going to the movies fun again.

This location is awesome! The theater is very clean and well maintained. After the show you can sit at the bar and listen to some live music over some drinks! Our bartender that night was attentive and charming. Can’t wait to go again.

Fantastic spot to see a movie and have a decent meal. Its easy to attend, just buy your tickets and take your seat. Servers come right to you and offer quick, quiet service. Highly recommend the alcoholic milkshakes, great beer/cocktail list. Food is pretty good, and Id recommend sharing a couple apps over getting the entrees. Itll cost, but what movie theater doesnt these days?

I love this movie theater. The one thing Id dock them for is that my food I ordered came cold? Maybe it was an off night. The movie theater itself is so cool looking inside. Really enjoy this theater. Love the seating and shared tables bar menu and popcorn are awesome. Wish that the rest of the menu was a little more for the plain eater would love just a grilled chicken sandwich not saturated in hot sauces or maybe just some basic nachos. Otherwise give this place a try. Its truly fun.

Very cool dinner & movie theater. Movie tickets are very affordable compared to other movie theaters, food and drinks are also reasonable compared to others. Would be 5 stars but one time their computer system double booked an entire theater so we awkwardly had to wait in the lobby while staff decided who got to stay and who had to go home. Other than that every experience has been great.

Overall good experience even in the second to front row! Get there early (even on a Wednesday night) it was packed but we did see The Joker. Food was decent. Glad to see a variety of vegan options, maybe offer vegan dessert too. The seats arent bad but they dont recline and after a while my neck felt stiff. Service/staff were great and friendly.

Awesome place to watch a movie. I love that it has a more mature vibe without kids running around. Good food and drinks. Minus a star for the uncomfortable seats that dont recline. Modern theaters at their price point should at least have deeper seats that rock. I understand that they wouldnt want fully reclinable chairs because people are eating their entrees. I cancelled my monthly movie pass with them because I couldnt stand a sore bottom any longer.

This cinema really is great! The service is wonderful, plus you can eat and drink there. Also if someone is being too loud they will be politely asked to leave, so there will be no interruptions. I love it there and we go all the time.

This place is excellent! Started coming here when it first opened and just love the space and food. Staff is very friendly and bands that play are great. Miss living closer to get tickets quicker but still love this spot.

Love this theatre. Has become very popular but easy to book seats online. I like to go on sunday mornings to avoid the crowds. Great menu with lots of vegetarian options. I dont think the. Boozy shakes are worth it, but everything else has been good value.

Great place, better staff. Strict phone and late policies so the movie is always uninterrupted by people walking in late or using their phones. Food is delivered to your seat and is ordered through order cards so theres no interruptions. The place to see movies.

I really like this place. The bar does great. The theater is comfortable. I dont think process are overly outrageous. But, the last 3 times weve gone, they have messed up our for order. Last night, my wife never got her dinner and we had to ask them to take it off the table. The time before that, we had to flag down our waiter to inform him that we hadnt gotten our food and the movie was almost over. The time before that, we got the wrong appetizer, but it was good so we let it slide. Were easy going folks, but this is a little too much. Downgrade from 5 to 2 stars.

Great theater to go for a movie! Only reason it didnt get 5 stars from me is because the volume was incredibly loud. Im not particularly sensitive to sound or anything, it just seemed uncomfortably loud..maybe because I was in the front row? Other than that the service, food and seating were great. Maybe could have used a recliner on the chair, especially the front row, but oh well. Will definitely be back.

This is probably the best way to do cinema. Compared to standard theater food this is a big step up. I gave it only four stars because restaurant fare is better if dinner PLUS a show is your objective. For dinner AND a show nobody does this better

The theater is awesome , the food is great. The hiring process is weak though , my brother tried getting a job there he is an exceptional cook and they scheduled him for an interview on Thursday the 23rd and he called that morning to reconfirm the interview. They told him they aren’t hiring? How do you schedule someone for an interview and then have a different representative tell them to sod off ?

Movies and really good popcorn.

This is a special movie theater. Many theaters have attempted to achieve the dine-while-watching experience and have missed the mark in food quality. This restaurant is actually a restaurant and they produce amazing plates to enjoy during the movie. I had the pleasure of enjoying the mac and cheese with smoked brisket, and younger meal-eaters enjoyed chicken tenders. Alcoholic beverages are also available. I was surprised to learn that the dining area (which you can visit without watching a movie or purchasing a ticket) hosted live music on the night we visited. Will be back many more times!

Me and my husband love to come here when we can get a quick movie in before our kids get out of school. Alcohol beverages and food. Seats do not recline so my husband cant fall asleep. Staff is great!

Best dine-in movie theater I know! I appreciate how its 2 seats to a table and tables are underlit just enough to read and order during the movie. The food is also surprisingly good for a movie theater as well!

Alamo is pretty great. Theyve really made enjoy going to the movies again. The food at this location can be a little uneven. Anything that can be easily made ahead and held, like fries, is often obviously not fresh and leave me wishing Id gotten something else. The brussel sprouts pizza is consistently great, and is probably the best thing in the menu. The popcorn is always good.

Very nice theater.. you can order food here and actually the food here taste good.. you cant talk or use your phone during the movie.. if you do it they will ask you to leave the theater.. you cant arrive late either.. So if you want to enjoy a movie with no annoying people around you this is the right place to go.. If you want to get good seats you need to buy your tickets in advance..

Very Nice employees, and good bar type food. there are no common commercials before the lights go out they are usually clips that inspired the upcoming movie or small ads for Alamo. The bar is very good and there is seating for meals and a larger party or group. the food is really good and the specials are always out of this world. I recommend the pizzas for a date and shakes.

Love this movie theater so much! The vegan menu rocks. Endless popcorn bowl is always good. Seats are comfortable but they dont recline, understandable though as its a restaurant. Employees are always kind. The pre-movie clips and trivia is actually good too and always interesting!

Went to Alamo last night and there was absolutely ZERO parking. We drove around for 30 minutes, through the deck several times and all of the side streets with no luck. We missed the movie but Alamo was gracious enough to give us rain checks. This absolutely isnt something Id expect from a cinema chain. Super grateful!

I moved here from a city that doesnt have an Alamo Drafthouse, so you can imagine my delight on my first visit. They dont allow cell phone usage or talking of any kind during the movies. That policy right there won me over from pretty much any other Cinema chain. But add to that the comfy chairs, great food menu, and attentive servers, and my five stars was guaranteed. Best part of all is that theres a location within walking distance from my house. :)All of this is coming from someone who had sworn off going to the movies years ago because of all of the noise and rudeness.

Had such a fun night here with a group of friends. We first hit the bar and grabbed some cocktails and then headed into the theater. It was so convenient to be able to order food and drinks while watching the movie. The service was great! This is a great place for a date or to hang out with friends.

You can get beer, good food, and they show a really varied lineup — sometimes they do throwback movies which is cool.It’s a little more expensive, but it’s just as if you went to dinner + a movie at the same place instead of two different places.Plenty of parking, and great fun. The fact that I can place an order for food before and even during the movie is awesome. It would be nice if the seat reclined. That seems to be a staple for any movie theater these days. The food is tasty and the prices are reasonable. Ive had their nachos, hot tea and a few other things and I always enjoyed my experience. Their online ticket purchasing is just as easy as any larger movie theater, but its a more laid-back experience. A lot of people come to this theater, but you still feel more welcome than other theaters. They also serve adult drinks here which you can order to drink during the movie. My wife orders a different drink every time and she never seems to be disappointed. They really set a high standard that other theaters should try to meet.

To be honest, we love all the Alamos. This one IS on the smaller side, but they have put on some rrally cool shows and guests, launching this location into my top 5 Alamo Drafthouses.The staff is alwaya on point, but I do qish Alamo established a slightly lower price for drinks(ie : cocktails)

Lunch and a movie sounded like a great idea today. Movie was great, however I can’t comment on lunch since our waiter took our order and never brought our food. To his credit he did remember to bring the check at the end.Fire on the Mountain Hot Wings sure tasted good after a long movie.

Ive been to different locations of Alamo Drafthouse before and had great experiences, but I was disappointed here.First time Ive ever been to a movie theater and there was NO popcorn. Un-be-liev-able. Showtime ~6pm on a Sunday--so not unreasonably early/late. Also no milkshakes available--a little more understandable but still a let down.My partner had a negative experience in the restrooms. Her stall didnt lock and she was walked in on. Same thing happened the stall next to her moments later.The staff was really friendly, the theater was comfortable, and the show itself was good. However, I expected better from Alamo Drafthouse.

Fantastic drinks and atmosphere. The food is also surprisingly good. I highly recommend the Mexican vanilla milkshake, its a triumph.

Great place to go to the Cinema! Buy your tickets online if possible that way you can ensure a good seat, Ive waited until the last minute so the only seats left are in the very front row. The food is always excellent, Ive enjoyed everything Ive ordered. Drinks are also awesome, especially when they have themed drinks that go with the movie you are about to watch. The pre-show reel also relates to the film you are about to see, its great fun while you are waiting. You arent bombarded with previews Iike some other places. Overall its a great experience - my favorite food there is the sweet Thai chili wings, and you get a lot of them for the money. I would definitely recommend.

Went to Tremors special viewing party and had a blast. They had a comedian come out before the start and talk about his love of the movie and get people excited for. My buddy had never seen it before and he loved the whole thing. We even got little souvenirs like a keychain of Burts license plate. All in all a great time for just some random thing we decided to go to last minute. They are showing Little Shop of Horrors next month and Im already looking forward to it!

Cool cinema with tables. You can order food right from seat. Seats in our cinema room was for couples, just what we need. Interesting promo advertisement related to film subject. And ofcourse trailers after. All was on high level.

A bit smaller than the littleton location and parking is harder but still has everything you could want! food is on the pricey side but its worth it for the experience. went for the princess bride movie party and everyone had a fun time!! Ill have to buy some merch next time

They do great interactive shows with props, guests, and other great features to make seeing classic movies a really awesome experience! The seats are nice and the food/drink service is solid, though can get pricey. Love this place.

Good food, good service and the movie was decent but they didnt make it. love the system they have where we walk straight into the movie once we purchase our tickets online. i recommend you arrive as early as possible and start unlimited popcorn a while before the movie starts.

Super clean theater. Seats that allow you to put your feet up. Great food and serve. Plus they are real serious about making your movie experience great and will kick anyone out who is using their phone or talking. Expect to pay a tad over $30 for the movie, a beer, and a meal. But this is no movie theater food. Its restaurant quality. Oh and you get to pick you assigned seat. Which I love. You can see if anyone will be next to you when you select it which is nice.

This is the coolest Alamo Drafthouse Ive been to. The little bar area is perfect and I would attend the bar regardless of seeing a movie. Definitely a cool neighborhood spot.

Im so sick of selfish people ruining a movie with their phone use and talking. Alamo Drafthouse promises a premium experience and charges a premium price for it. But tonight someone opened the emergency door, setting off the alarm. and for some reason the room which moments before had been absolutely swarming with attendance was suddenly completely abandoned. The alarm went off for six full minutes before someone even entered the room to take a look. It went off 10 minutes total. Absolutely ruining the movie.

On par with all positive reviews. THE best place I could have asked for to watch Endgame. The fact I had a few drinks in me definitely softened quite a few blows. Thanks for being there for us, Alamo staff. Lol.

After several terrible experiences at the Littleton location, I was ready to swear off Alamo forever. This location restored my love for them.Best theater around. Great seats, great lighting, theyll boot you out if youre noisy, and great food. The servers are never disruptive, as in the other location, and the customer service is great.The only downer about this location is that its rather small, which means movies rotate out quickly. This can be a bummer for season pass holders, as even going weekly youll miss some movies during peak times. Not much they can do about that, but something to keep in mind if youre looking into a season pass but cant do multiple movies a week.Highly recommended theater for movie buffs that are in it for the experience. If you go to the movies to text on your phone and giggle with your friends... this isnt the place for you. :)(Question for the owner if theyre reading: some servers open a tab on your card to start out, some do not. Any reason for the inconsistency there? I really prefer to pay ahead so I dont have to worry about it during the film, so it would be nice if it was always offered. Thanks. :))

Although it can be hard to find parking at times, the service and atmosphere of the theatre is amazing! I would definitely recommend checking out the Alamo as it’s a very pleasant and unique experience over other theaters. Therefore I would highly recommend it, and have been going to the Alamo since the Littleton first opened.

Awesome movie theatre concept. They take the silence is golden rule very seriously which I greatly appreciate. Popcorn uses clarified butter as opposed to yellow chemical sludge. You can even have a beer or two while enjoying the movie. Would definitely recommend!

Im a big fan of the Alamo theaters in general but I love this location. Its a super quick drive for me and with the parking garage, its never a problem to find parking. Staff has always been very friendly and efficient. Definitely my go to movie theater!

I love the Alamo. Movies and service at your seat. They have a great no disruption policy and if you show up 30min early they do a preshow currated to the film you are about to watch. Its a great mash up of trivia, fan videos and bonus content. Food is reasonably priced and tickets are the same as a regular theater. The bar area is pretty cool too.

This place is great! Love the comfortable seating and being able to order during a movie. Only thing is some of the food is a little gross. Stick to the pizza, popcorn, or fried stuff.

Loveeeee Alamo drafthouse!

This is a great place for movie lovers to watch movies. Instead of adds running before the movie they played shorts from the director and other short videos related to the movie. They strictly enforce no talking and no phones durring the movie, i really appreciated that. This is definitely a movie experience everyone should experience at least once.

If you have never been in an Alamo, you are missing out; Although this Alamo is a little older than the one on my city, I went to this place to make some time between my hotel check-out and my flight and as usual, it was great; Mind you, I am spoiled with my local Alamo since it is one of the new ones and we have a very nice lobby area, recline seats and small rooms but the Alamo is always a great experience any city I happen to be.

Love their policy that people shouldnt talk during the movie. Chairs arent as good as some theaters (dont recline), but overall Id rather sit next to a quiet person in an ok chair than sit in a great chair next to a troglodyte who doesnt understand the basic common courtesy of, you know, sparing everyone else their half-baked opinions about the movie.
