I went with a friend to Room 5280 the second week of November for a birthday and we had a blast! Even amidst the pandemic they were very accommodating and clean. We did a room called the Dungeons of Dorkus I think, it was so cool! They puzzles are hard but fun, and they help you along the way if you need it.

Oh what an adventure! Something about the thrill, and to end the escape room with such raw tale! Way to set the bar with such a thrilling vibe, and dark experience! Our guide was exceptional!

Great escape room! One issue though. I went in here in 2019 with my family as a Christmas present. None of them are too bright and we sadly were unable to complete the puzzle and escape. This wasnt an issue as we assumed that we would be let out by the staff. Well, here we are one year later still in the room! If any staff see this please let us go!

Very fun and creepy! Perfect for our Halloween trip! The Dark room escape was really fun and challenging! I recommend this location! Fairly inexpensive for an hour of fun with friends! Also, loved that this escape is based on true events!

We made our reservation over the phone. The woman who helped us was very informative about the process as well as describing the rooms. My fiance and I did The Bartender. This was my first experience in an escape room. I enjoyed the 60 minutes there. Really appreciated how nice and helpful the hostess was when we were stuck. The building itself is beautiful as well and you can tell how much detail goes into each puzzle/clue. Great place to go escape.

Such a fun experience shared with friends! Makes you think individually and as a team. This particular escape room (dark room) was our favorite one to date. We loved the story behind it, and the wonderful staff member was easy to work with when needed! Highly recommend you start with this room if possible!

The Dark Room was so much fun and the game master (? I forgot her name Im so sorry!) was incredible! Definitely a challenge but worth every moment of mystery!

Beyond amazing customer service. Price is totally worth it. So much fun. Extremely stimulating. Staff will not leave you hanging and they are very encouraging. Went once, loved it so much we came back the next day for the other room. We plan to visit the other location as well to complete the remaining rooms. Cant thank Room 5280 enough for being the start of our new addiction! Haha!

We did the dark room. It had really fun puzzles to figure out and we made it just in the nic of time. Super fun!

My husband and I got really into escape rooms two months ago, and drove up from Colorado Springs to check this place out after reading good reviews. We did two rooms. The Dark Room was very enjoyable and wed reccomend it, but then we did The Bartender, and it left a lot to be desired.Some issues with the room reset, and multiple faulty electronics that didnt work even when we were doing the right thing....man.Kept having to ask for help on things we were doing correctly. Combined with the ambiguous nature of the clues in this room, it was way more frustrating than fun. If this was the room we had started with, we wouldnt have done a second.Rating this as average for the Dark Room, because it was a fun challenge, but overall, wed say find an independently run business and spend your money there. The experiences weve had with those have been way more immersive, engaging, and with greater attention to detail. We were offered $4 off each ticket to rebook because of the errors, but it isnt worth it to drive over an hour from the Springs to try another room here.

Very fun and interesting. We completed it, but it wasnt too easy, either. Overall, a great experience, and theyre really doing a lot to keep things sanitized, so I didnt feel worried at all about getting sick.

Staff are super friendly and the building was easy to find/clean. We did The Experiment room and it was definitely fun. The max was up to 6 people but there was not enough puzzles for 6 people to do. Definitely more of a 4-person room. That being said, it was also REALLY hard but we escaped with 8 minutes left! Im hearing the Heist room is super good. Will definitely be back for that one!

I cannot rave enough about this establishment and the owners! My husband and I travel all over the U.S. in search of phenomenal escape rooms and these definitely makes the cut. The puzzles were some of the most challenging we have came across yet! Let’s talk about the women who own this amazing facility shall we.. the game master will make or break a game EVERY TIME, that being said, they give you space to navigate the room but don’t allow you to get stuck and frustrated. These women made the experience what it was and it is obvious that they take a lot of pride in their baby. If you are in debate if this is an experience for you.. the answer is always yes! Go create memories peeps!

Our host was cool and speedy, she had colored hair but I forgot her name :-( Im from Los Angeles and have done close to 20 rooms. The Weird Heritage room does not have a lot of production value but the puzzle were legit every step of the way. With out spoiling anything there was a perfect task that needed two people to work in unison testing the limits of their dexterity and calmness under pressure. Great room!

My nieces and I stopped by and had a great time! The puzzles were good and varied to play different strengths, the theme was well thought out and clever, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Worth it!

This was a birthday gift for my 15 year old but the entire family joined the fun (ages 11-50!). We had the most amazing time. The gentleman that checked us in and provided clues was very kind and laid back but also very helpful when needed. This was our first ever escape room and we would definitely go back! Room 5280 was great!

My family and I did this together, age range from 29-64 years old (including a toddler but he just ran around the room touching everything). It was so fun, we worked together, and was able to escape with 15 minutes left! We asked for about 4-5 clues. Remember to look EVERYWHERE! We will probably do it again but a different room next time (given the room is big enough to fit 8 of us again!)

My boyfriend and I came here for his birthday, did both the Sherlock and Heist rooms and we had so much fun! Sarah is an awesome host who knows exactly when to give helpful hints and useful clues. We were a little nervous to attempt The Heist with only two people, but Sarah’s help with some of the...bigger puzzles got us out with 10 mins to spare! We’re so excited to visit again. Great experience. Mr G. was a wonderful host. We are from Colorado Springs and have done a few of the escape rooms here in Denver. This is definitely one of the better ones.

We had a fantastic time with our group of four! We did two rooms and Cass was our guide both times she is amazing and made it super fun we would highly recommend this to people of all ages! And the building that its in is fantastic definite five stars!

This was such a fun escape room! It was a bit tricky and we had a bunch of us, but we all had a lot of fun. There were definitely some details that tripped us up, but at the end we escaped and had a great night.

My daughter wanted to go to an escape room for her birthday and picked The Heist which we were told once we got there was their hardest room. I had doubts, but we actually cracked it and everybody contributed (7 of us with age range from 13 to 52). We all had a GREAT time. The woman who worked there was fun, helpful and professional. There was even plenty of free parking in the back. This is the second escape room we have done with this franchise and both times have been a blast. I would totally recommend this as a family, friends, team building or birthday party exercise. They have a variety of rooms for different group sizes and at all levels of difficulty. Not terribly expensive either. Cant recommend them enough. It was a fantastic time.

Oh my gosh. This place was SO MUCH FUN. I loved the puzzles in each room that we got to play, they were challenging but not vague and weird like other escape rooms I’ve been to. Igor, who introduced us to the rooms, was a delightful guide and occasional hint-giver. My friends and I finished the first room quickly, and were given the opportunity to do another more difficult room! We had a great time and we could not stop talking about how much fun we had. It would be a dream to just do every room in the house consecutively. I am definitely coming back!!

This was my first escape room experience and it was an absolute blast! I liked it so much we tried a different place the next day (because Im from out of town) and it didnt didnt measure up. Room 5280 was difficult, but made sense...when we were stuck an employee would promptly give us a hint (didnt just tell us what to do). It was challenging fun and recommend trying it out! Definitely wont regret it.

We did “The Heist” and it was so much fun! Such a great alternative to other birthday party ideas. We solved it with 12 minutes left can’t wait to do another one!Hint: ask for clues!!!

Excellent escape rooms. Well thought out themes and wide variety clues and lock types to figure out. Our team has done rooms all over the country and would put this venue at the top of our list of the best!

My friends and I did the Weird Heritage room and it was a lot of fun. Staff greeted us immediately and took us into our room a little early even. The escape room had puzzles I had never seen before, so that was cool. The staff give out clues at specific times, so you dont have to worry about deciding when to ask for a hint or not. I really liked that.

Our group came up just short of escaping within an hour but they gave us a couple of extra minutes so we could finish and feel somewhat accomplished! The Heist was a tough challenge but a fun escape, and they provide as much or as little support as you want.

We had a great time escaping from the Sherlock room this weekend (with a little help from our host, Jonathan, who was fantastic)! Id definitely recommend Room 5280 and well be going back to try another room.

This was a super-fun experience! Our group did the Dark Room for a birthday and solved the puzzle just in time. The room was not scary, but the clues took a little time to work out, which was great for both brain activity and group communication.

Went for part of my bachelor party, the room was challenging (almost too much) BUT they really want you to have fun and succeed, which we barely did. They have some really original clues and cool effects. Outside of a schedule delay (a prior party had arrived late, so in turn we were pushed back about 45 min from our start time) we all had a lot of fun!

Visited this evening with some friends/co-workers and we had a BLAST! The room was challenging but we managed to get out and had so much fun doing it.Igor was a fantastic host and I would highly recommend this place for a great group experience.

This was one of the best escape rooms that we have been to. It was perfect for our family ranging from 9 years -13 years old. There was a little bit of everything and loved the creativity of the puzzle. We did the Dark Room. We are already talking about going again!

So so so much fun!! Solving the puzzles feels great and they were very friendly and helpful. Have done a couple of rooms with them definitely want to try the rest.

Be prepared to work against the clock, if you stall on one part too long, youll probably fail.3. Dont be discouraged if you fail, its definitely a challenge that you have to get used to.

Loved it! Alex was so friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. We chose to do the Weird Heritage room and it was definitely challenging. We had about 7 people in the room and unfortunately we couldnt complete the puzzle in time. We had about another 15 minutes before escaping. (Just my preference - I would have preferred to do it with a smaller group because it seems easier to gather clues when theres not too many individuals involved.) Anyways, really liked the puzzle and clues! It was difficult but definitely mentally stimulating. I would go again!

Me and three on my friends went here on a Saturday night. It was the first escape room most of us have ever done, and it was awesome! The man working was really nice and answered all of the questions we had. We escaped the room and it was a fun experience for all. Would defiantly go back!

Our Leadership Team with Habitat for Humanity went to ROOM 5280 today and we had a fantastic time! Highly recommended for any group looking for a fun filled time team building! I will definitely be back!

TLDR; Experienced escapees should avoid the too-easy Experiment room.While we were appreciative for such a short notice booking and baby approval, the Experiment room was the most underwhelming difficulty wise of any weve done so far (30+). We were actually encouraged to do this room instead of the originally planned Dark Room, which our host thought would be too easy given our experience.The room itself was small, the puzzles were relatively rudimentary, and there werent any secondary rooms to be explored. A couple of unique mechanisms stood out stood out amongst an otherwise forgettable room. Escaping with 29:30 remaining after paying $112 for our group of four left us feeling a little shortchanged, but would give more difficult rooms at this establishment a shot.

We came here for a bachelor party, and this place is amazing.It’s definitely worth doing Weird Heritage, the escape room we tried here, although with the right-size group you probably won’t need the full 60 minutes. The guys who run the place are fantastic as well, and your group will definitely have a fun time here.

We had a blast! Many of us were new and didnt know what to expect. It was a great challenge and so much fun. The couple that were familiar with escape rooms told us that this was the BEST experience.

Me and my friends had the best time yesterday and have tried only two rooms so far (dark room and scientific). Definitely coming back!! Rooms are very creative and adventurous. I recommend bringing as many friends as possible to have fun and solve puzzles together!

Awesome rooms! We did the Dark Room and Weird Heritage and will be back to try The Heist next time we are in Denver. Very clever puzzles.

This was an AMAZING escape room experience. We were a group of five this time and have been to multiple other escape rooms around Denver. The owner was friendly and welcoming, chatting with us about the World Cup before going over the rules of the rooms we were going into. The rooms were pretty challenging and utilized interesting clues/tools. I would recommend Room 5280 to any beginner, expert and everything in between!

It was my first time escaping and I was very excited! The whole idea to create something like this is awesome! We had a group of 4 but I believe bigger reservations are available as well. I like the fact that its open all year round and not only during the Halloween like haunted houses. Alex was very welcoming and helpful. Great customer service! Came here with my co-workers for team building event. We had so much fun together. We came as a team of 5 and successfully escaped the Dark Room. Scheduling was so easy and Alex was very helpful and accommodating. The location is great and the building is absolutely fascinating. It puts you in the mood the moment you step into the house. Alex was very punctual and everything was set up before we even showed up. The Dark Room is a very unique escape room and is so much fun to play in. All the puzzles require some team effort and out of the box thinking. All of us had a blast.We have already scheduled our next game in the Experiment Room.Will definitely return again and again. Alex has been very helpful, professional and fun to work with.Highly recommend this place to everyone, whether it is your first time playing or you are an experienced player.

We made a last-minute reservation as my fiancé’s mom was in town and we wanted to do something fun, but different. We had the whole place to ourselves, and were a bit hesitant at first, but once we got started in the Dark Room we got right into it! We had an absolute blast and were able to escape. We also really enjoyed speaking with the gentleman who was running the activity - he was great at explaining the rules, how best to make a strategy, and about the other rooms and locations to try next time. We will definitely going back with friends and family ASAP!

Our second time at 5280, absolutely fantastic as the first time!! Such a continent and very cool location! Both rooms were amazing. We are ready for the next three rooms!! So much fun and great staff!
