This place is very cool! Incredibly fun and challenging but definitely not impossible. I havent used my brain so hard for something this fun in years! Definitely worth checking out, grab some friends and enjoy! I did!

The clues in the room are great. HOWEVER, when we started, we had the right code for one of the locks, but it did not open - it was stuck-. Someone came in and had a bolt cutter to open it which took overall about 10min. Before we head in the room, we were asked not to use our cellphone for FLASHLIGHT. One of the clues needed a light and they had lanterns that did not work at all, which took a lot of our time until we asked for a hint and had to use our cellphones. The staff did not admit that it was there mistake! They only gave us 5min extra time when in reality we lost 15-20min of our time because of their mistakes and very bad service to the customers. Also, not to mention the fishy smell all over the place.

Did the asylum room. It was like a haunted house and the puzzles were very creative and difficult. It was fun! We didnt solve it though. Lots of parking. Bathrooms inside.

Great fun! Loved the ability to compete against an opposing team in a race to find the gold. We enjoyed the clues, puzzles, and mystery of our escape. Our ability to turn off another teams lights and they ours added an additional element of urgency and excitement. Well done, Colorado Escape! Lots of fun!

I’ve been to many escape rooms before, and at this point it is my favorite. We had 11 people (2 teams) and everything was accommodating and super fun!! We were a late and they still let us stay past the 1 hour limit to finish.Everyone in the group had a blast and I will definitely come back!

I have done every escape room they have. The staff is the absolute best! They always make it an enjoyable experience. This is my favorite escape room. All rooms are challenging but fun. Great themes and well thought out.

This activity made a great family outing for our family of four! The staff was friendly and helpful. The clues and room were well set up, challenging us to work together while not feeling too complicated. It was priced similar to others in the area, a groupon brought us in.

I liked it and would do it again. My suggestion is that they had a button if you want a clue, because waiving yours hands doesnt work very well. They dont see you waiving yours hands.

Fun but short and easy

Ive done escape rooms all across the country. This one (we did the game of thrones room specifically), was, it pains me to say it, the worst. The puzzle design was atrocious. We got stuck on a puzzle and managed to get through because one of the puzzles was broken. No one said anything about it though and the game master was surprised to hear about it at the end. The puzzles were boring, incredibly unintuitive, and almost every single one revolved around a lock. The room design was unimaginative and could have been thrown together fairly quickly and easily by anyone. It had little to do with the theme. This is a bad example of what escape rooms should aspire to. Honestly, it boggles my mind that this place is so highly rated. Also, fun fact: the building was locked and we had call to get in. Puzzle #1?

What a blast! My wife and I took our two friends to visit for their birthday and had a great time our attendant was a joy to have lead our game and offered to take a picture after! They even offer a punch card for frequent visits!

Okay, hands down one of the most fun escape rooms Ive been too, me and my group of four decided to go for the asylum and we regret nothing! The atmosphere was fun and nerve wracking all at the same time but in the best way! We ended up doing this room with mostly strangers (about 8) and honestly it made the experience even better! We were visiting Denver from Indiana so the combined efforts of all parties helped greatly! Definitely would plan to go again!

Went with my wife for my birthday. We were with six other people and we had a blast! Would definitely go again!

Absolutely 5 Star Experience!!!!We had a group of 5 people in the Silence of the Lambs room and boy what a blast. Would recommend to everyone with an itch for a good challenge and some scares along the way

Our favorite escape room company. Great balance between good decor, puzzles, and price.I wish their rooms had more nonlinear puzzles, rather than having only one thing to solve at a time. With that being said, I still think this is the place to go.

Very well done rooms: some are challenging and others can be solved within the allotted time. I love that they now have a VR room at this Denver location! I wish they would change the rooms more often because weve been thru all of them and are waiting for a new room to open up.

This was SO FUN. We had no idea what to expect but this was super hard (my brain hurts), but not too hard that we were discouraged. And Ariel was the best, she was super friendly and encouraging and just a wonderful energy that we feel lucky to have met! Thanks so much! :)

The Asylum is an 8 room adventure! This is the 4th room I’ve done with Colorado Escape and they have all been great! Not your basic lock after lock, but some neat mysteries and clues to lead through puzzle after puzzle. I always fee great taking friends and family here. Will not disappoint.

Did Area 51. Last clue uses morse code device. Not well designed or explained. Should state that long dash is equal to 3 sec and should also make a sound each time code is entered.

Took my wife and two friends there last night to do the Asylum escape room. There are 7 rooms and the puzzles were really hard. It was our first escape room, we probably should have started with one that A. Wasn’t so long (Asylum is 90 minutes) B. Wasn’t so difficult. Lol. I had a blast regardless. The host was great at helping when we got stuck (which was quite a few times), all the rooms were decorated great, had cool props, and the puzzles were fun to figure out. Only reason I’m not giving five stars is because I wish there would have been a little more explanation of what to do in the beginning since it was our first time. Overall, really fun group activity!

Friendly staff, fun adventure. Maybe a little too helpful, with us finishing 15 minutes early. We didnt ask for any clues but we were given assistance three times. We had fun!

It was great! I really recommend trying the asylum experience, its worth it! Bring a group because they have 8 rooms to go through on the asylum. I havent tried the other ones yet but we will be back to hopefully finish them all!

This place was very very very disappointing. The place was located in an office building of a business plaza. Everything was so incredibly low budget, the clues were hand written notes, taped over rather than being laminated. All the props and decor was obviously cheap as possible. The puzzles are lazy as can be, one of the last puzzles wasnt even a puzzle at all. It was a riddle. You had to guess a word. Then add a letter to that word, than another to the last word to get your answer all in your head. Theres was nothing interactive about it. None of the puzzles had anything to do with the actual scenario.if I could rate less than a full star I would. Not worth even a moticome of what we paid-and this was a Groupon deal.

We did the gold mine but both of the teams were unsuccessful. It was fun!!

The other team solved the puzzle first, but we still made it out of the room. Before the hour was up. It was so much fun! Just dont follow the directions on the call box. The code is 205.

Pretty fun, but I would say it needed a lot of work. I have been to three other Escape rooms before, and unfortunately, this was the most disappointing. It was supposed to be Harry Potter themed, I am not a Harry Potter fan, but even I could see that there really wasnt much, if any, theme items in the room. And it wasnt properly reset, so we got stuck wasting a lot of time on one clue... I think the clues themselves were pretty hard to connect, we were all reasonably intelligent people, but almost every clue had us all pretty well stumped. I think they could have done A LOT better... Maybe some of the other rooms were better, but this one was not good in my opinion.

Had such a great time at both of the escape rooms we did. The staff did a wonderful job of being helpful while still allowing us to figure out the clues.

Done a number of escape rooms in the past, this one was the worst so far. Did the Harry Potter themed room. When you start out you get a story about finding a wand and stopping a wizard and thats when the Harry Potter theme ended. The puzzles and decorations in the room had nothing to do with the theme or lore, really there was nothing Harry Potter related in the room. Several of our group are big fans of Harry Potter and were very disappointed. Puzzles didnt make much sense and a few things in the room didnt work well. The dial for one puzzle was broken and was impossible to solve without the help of the staff. Everything else was bland. Im pretty sure they just reused a different escape room and called it a Harry Potter theame.

Went to this with a group of coworkers and we had a blast! We did the Area 51 room and it was well themed and a real challenge! We managed to make it out with 5 minutes left. Loved it!

If you like puzzles its a cool place, the room itself wasnt awful and it had its challenges. It wasnt for me though.

We waited 5 minutes to get into the building and went to suite 205 and waited. We were then told that we were in the wrong suite and that we needed to go to 204. We walked over to 204 and the host was rude and shamed us for being late- which was because of the poor directions that we were given. When we got into the room there were already 6 people working on the room- which caught us off guard. The room was well designed and difficult but the other people in the room were not very collaborative or inclusive. If you do choose to go to colorado escape, lower your customer service expectations and go with a big group of friends. Use a groupon, it is not worth the full price.

Was a fun concept but we had way too many people in out group the website says up to 8 people and we had 13. The game master was great And the puzzles were clever but the number of people was what made it not enjoyable

It was like a real life video game, definitely more fun than I expected!

Weve done so many of these, around five or so. This one was one of the more confusing, shabby, and rundown. There was wood coming of the wall, there was markings from other guests on some of the things which should be cleaned up. I think it could have been better if it was better upkept, and the mechanical devices worked.

Ive loved each of the 3 rooms Ive tried here and cant wait to try the new ones they release!

Pretty awful experience. The other guests made the game unpleasant... But the head of the group of other guests ended up in an unprofessional argument with the person running the game. The employee handled it very poorly. Every second was pretty miserable, I wont be back.

Did Game of Thrones. Had fun but it was frustrating that some clues had multiple correct solutions which made time-wasting trial and error necessary.The puzzles were too linear which it made it difficult to keep everyone in our group of five fully engaged in the puzzle solving.

We did the Harry Potter escape room. However, they forgot to incorporate a Harry Potter theme. The clues did not lead to the next obsticle. The room was mainly based on locks. The saddest part was the use of he Harry Potter name, but the only thing that resembled Harry Potter was the wand at the end.

Im 38, my son is 10 and the other 3 where college age guys. We all contributed equally and had a blast doing it.
