I have been a member of the club for 7 years. The restaurant has always been sub par but last night with family and friends it set a new standard of terrible!Starting with the food: it took 1 hour to get served and then the food was cold. It clearly had been sitting there while no one bothered to pick it up.Service: as terrible as you can imagine. Staff standing around doing nothing with the manager who has been there for years not acknowledging the issues with the food. She simply stood around and watched while doing nothing.Wine: server broke the cork with half falling in the bottle. It was a bottle of cake bread at a cost of $105. He then poured it into my glass to taste with all the little pieces of cork. Need I say more.Bottom line: The managers of the club mentioned months ago of hiring a new manager to over see the operations and yet the same incompetent managers were there.The fact is they don’t care. Both the owners and managers so how do you expect staff to care.Come January we will be moving to a club and give up our membership at the Seagate. Although very convenient no where near worth the value they charge.

Our family has been coming here for years. Always absolutely stellar service, friendly employees, and great facilities. Also, the hamburgers are simply FANTASTIC and highly recommended.

Very chill and relaxed atmosphere. With new menu items. Be alert, they switched up how you enter with your car for valet. Besides that the service is great too.

This place should be a 10 Star Hotel and Spa, very friendly service and staff, clean and spacious rooms. The beach house is also very accommodating and luxurious, right on the beach! Loved this place so much!!

The best Lobster bisque I’ve ever had. I didn’t give it 5 stars because a few of the dishes were a hit or miss. The lobster pasta was too oily and the skirt streak was heavily salted but cooked perfect and tender. Our waiter was amazing I believe his name was Jason. So accommodating, informative and attentive. One of the best waiters we’ve had. Love the Decor and really clean.

Service was very good. Privacy but also opportunity to meet new people.

A very nice beach club that offer Seagates customers. The hotel has the transportation to bring you to this beach club. They have a nice restaurant that open from 11:00am until night. Also they have a clean and quite beach, you can have he beach chair and umbrella over there. And after that, you can enjoy the nice weather and comfortable day over there. Remember to use the sun protection, otherwise the sun will let your skin. Anyway, five star rate for this place.

Recently had dinner at the Seagate Beach club and the view of the Atlantic was fantastic. We were seating on the second floor and were served by a good wait staff. Overall, this was a good experience and I would recommend making sure you visit around sunset for the best view.

Went to visit with friends who were staying at the resort. Had lunch, great menu and really good food. There are tables at the restaurant or by the pool. Excellent service. Pool was fun, nice mix of friendly people.

Beautiful pool and the bar and restaurant are lovely. The Beach is Fabulous they give complimentary trolley to the Club where everyone is so pleasent and make you feel very Welcome. Provide chairs and umbrellas down on the beach. You can order drinks also on the beach. Just a Super Fun Day at the Beach!

Resort is located in a great location with complimentary transportation to the great downtown area and the beach. They also have a nice beach club. Two disappointments, one my room was advertised as a garden view, which was actually a wall approx 10ft from my window that overlooked a lower roof top and several A/C units. The second disappointment was the upstairs dining room in the beach club. When making a much anticipated reservation to dine while viewing the ocean (I mean isnt that why were there?) we were told they may not open the dining room based on the demand level. We stayed there the first week of June so if they close up shop at any particular time of year they should inform the guests before one secures the reservations. By the way, there are no garden views.

Awesome everything

We were 11 women from South Florida staying overnight in 5 rooms for a birthday party. The beach was perfect. The restaurant was just fair. The rooms were clean and sufficient. No bottled water in rooms. The coffee shop was extremely slow but good coffee. When we checked out 1 room was $70 less than the other rooms. We asked to speak with the manager and explained that when we booked the rooms they were all supposed to be the same price and that we were quoted the lower room rate. We requested they he honor the lower rate. First he said he had to speak with the reservation manager who booked our rooms. Then he said that he wouldn’t lower the rate of the 4 rooms and insisted that we booked the rooms at different times. He would not look me in the face when he spoke to me and didn’t care if we came back to the hotel or not. The manager was disrespectful and rude. I will never stay there again. Not worth it!

Had an incredible time today at the beach club thanks to Zac, Jim, and Patrick. Great gentleman and even better customer service from them. Will definitely let my friends and family know to come visit the Seagate Hotel and beach club!

Nice decor, good environment (semi upscale but also kid friendly). Great views of the ocean. Food is decent but overpriced for the quality. However, it is worth the money for the location, friendly staff and the views!

Beautifully located on the beach, water is blue and great beach. Facilities for members and guests, great food and service.

The location is truly special, beach and cocktails are awesome. Where it falls way short is the quality and flavor of the food. We were a party of 12 and ordered many different items. The BBQ prime rib sandwich was worst any of the three guys that ordered it had in our lives, the lobster salad sandwich had an odor strong enough to make your eyes water, it smelled and tasted bad / spoiled, could have been bad if we actually ate it. Several other food items received a thumbs down. Service was mediocre at best, our table was never cleared, half eaten food on plates around the horn never cleared. I would enjoy the beach and cocktails and skip the food, just keeping it real. They need a new chef, new menu and better quality food, honestly.

This is a nice place to have a quick bite and enjoy the pool with the kids. Its right on the beach where you can rent paddle boards and kayaks. We had a nice time here.

Had lunch here with the family on 2nd floor. They served a buffet lunch which included a fresh salad bar, pasta with vegetable medley, fried chicken cutlets with a white flour gravy, beef bourgionne, hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken fingers, mac and cheese, french fries, chocolate cookies and brownies. The food was overall good but could have been warmer. The service was good and the view was spectacular. I would come back again.

Expensive, membership required but the ambiance, looking at the ocean, especially since there is always a breeze is spectacular. Certainly recommended for lunch.

Elegant rooms, excellebt service and amenitied you would expect at a resort. Somewhat noisy if your room faces Atlantic Avenue with traffic and street noises, but no more so than living in a city bear the street. Beach Club and Golf Course are all a 1/4-mile walk or shuttle ride away, so plan agmhead and leave time for travel if youre going to do activities. Spa service was very nice; clean faculitues and thoughtful staff.

Great beach and restaurant food is good. The beach service has a lot left to be wished for, though. Chairs and umbrellas are just kind of plopped whereever, and attendents dont come to check on you after seated (no umbrella tilt,etc). Other than that, place is great

Several days before Mothers Day 2013, my wife and I decided to join the Seagate Beach Club. We were both excited to be a part of what was described to us as a family. The summer membership began on May 13, 2013. Mothers Day was on May 12. My wife inquired about reserving a table for Mothers Day. The head sales associate told us absolutely not. Membership began the following day. We proceeded to the beach club itself to look around at the facilities which my wife had not seen yet. During our conversation with the host, he indicated that there was still a table available for Mothers Day. We asked if we could reserve it. He said yes. I suggested to my wife that because we would not officially be members until the next day, she should call the office to see if that would be a problem (you have to sign for all amenities and are then billed for them). The head sales associate started to verbally abuse my wife and TOLD her we could not attend the club on Mothers Day. My wife explained that she meant no harm, but only wanted to spend Mothers Day at the club. She assumed that the club would rather earn the money than have an empty table. An hour later, the sales associate called us and told us that we would not be happy as members of the Seagate Beach Club and were not welcome. She told me that she had spoken to the general manager who agreed. I asked for the number of the general manager. I called him and explained that we only thought that if there was an empty table available for Mothers Day, we would have loved to have dined there with our family. I further had to justify to him that we were not rule breakers and that we were both reputable people. My wife and I are both educators in Palm Beach County. He said that he agreed with the sales associate that we would not be welcome. Despite my efforts to convince him that we were not criminals, he refused.I have fumed for the better part of a month and have decided that I must post my extreme displeasure in this forum.

Great service and friendly staff. I would highly recommend both the Beach Club and the associated Seagate Hotel.

Went over to the beach rental shack to rent a Hobie-cat sail boat. The wind was blowing steady 10-15 mph and the bushy haired blond kid working the at the time insisted that there wasnt enough wind. Im not new to sailing and have certainly handled a hobie cat in light winds but this kids attitude was completely driven by laziness. After explaining to him that light winds were desired as I was taking someone who has never sailed before, he started in on us about how it takes 4 people to take it to the water. So thats my problem? Sorry, but we will be going to the place north of there for boat rental from here on.
