Beautiful place to stay at!There’s of course some concern that comes with staying anywhere now with COVID-19 but this place made me feel super safeeverything was sealed off after being cleaned and right when you walk in (room) you can tell everything has been sanitized. Even the TV remote is in plastic. They give complimentary masks, hand sanitizers, and gloves.Some nice extras are the snacks and drinks that they provide you with note you do have to pay for them but the prices aren’t bad!toiletries are nice as well you usually never find a spot with good shampoo/conditionerWe also had beach towels!Location is also great about a block away from Atlantic (strip where all the bars/restaurants are)& about 2 blocks in the opposite direction you have the beach!!Grounds are super cute!!Specially at night there’s lights everywhere the pool is lit up as well. There’s two pools, area for grilling and a nice deck for lounging (masks are required in that space) they also have sand around the pool which I thought was a nice touch.Very peaceful and fun stay!

Well taken care of grounds and room was very clean. Is a place for adults, to small of areas for small children to run around. The front desk staff were outstanding. Good size bathroom, well appointed amenities. Would stay again for sure

This was our first venture out since the coronavirus hit and we chose Cranes for a reason. Cleanliness, attention to detail and comprehensive room accommodations. And they did not fail. We got our getaway but felt very safe and taken care of. Their guests are also very considerate and quiet. Great place. Heading back next month!!

Can not say enough good things about this quaint little place. Evokes a yesteryear old-Florida atmosphere. It has a wonderful ambiance and the guest service is top notch. Clean, airy and bright, and located walking distance from downtown. You will not be disappointed!

Senior couple had first trip away from home during pandemic. Joyful & refreshing! We brought our own food, opted for no in-room service, took walks by the beach, enjoyed pool, and were cozily perched on 2nd floor private balcony for most meals. Fully supplied kitchen, roomy fridge. Not all guests wore masks as we did, but we felt safe with private entry and fresh air.We had a tough time getting through locked exterior gates at Cranes day of arrival. Two numeric codes for gate and door had to be memorized.Would have preferred entry cards.Our bed in the upgraded suite was a disappointment, noisiest thing Ive slept on in 70 years! Sounded like multitudes of metal pieces churning against each other with every muscular movement. We actually slept well by forcing ourselves to not move lol.We hope to return to Cranes. Great getaway!

I truly have been so thankful for Cranes during this time. Cranes has always been there to make u feel like a home away from home and also a vacation right where u live. I’m so grateful for such an awesome place to get away with the family. Have any of u just felt like u needed a break for a bit And don’t know where to go? I promise this is the place. They have such beautiful clean state of the art rooms. So spacious with full kitchens and baths. Decorated so peaceful and zen. The staff is so amazing and friendly and always there to help u every step of the way. They are following all guidelines and keeping everything safe and sanitized. Pools and tiki areas are beautiful surrounded by sand. Walking distance to the beaches and restaurants. The best getaway in Delray Beach!

I stayed in a luxury villa and was impressed with the cleanliness, updated amenities and coastal chic decor. I absolutely loved the pool on the south side of the property, it had a sandy poolside and an adorable tiki shower. This spot is like a slice of the Keys got squeezed into Palm Beach County, with lush tropical flora providing privacy to this little boutique hotel. It is only a 5 minute stroll to the beach and they provided beach chairs in the villa. I will definitely recommend this property to friends and family!

From entering this resort I had major issues. It is gated off and you need a code to get in, but when you are trying to check in your dont know the code! I sat outside the gate for 15 minutes trying to get someone from the desk to help me. So frustrating! Then I requested a specific room to have a balcony and they gave me a ground floor room with a private patio. You cant even sit out there in the morning without having people constantly walking by like 5 feet away. They charge you if you to wash the dishes which is ridiculous. They charged me for taking snacks from the minibar which I never even ate! They didnt even show that charge on the receipt, I saw it on my card and had to call them to find out what it was for! Not worth it, stay somewhere else where you can actually relax.

All hotel staff were professional and friendly. Telephone calls were made to us make certain we were satisfied or aware of hotel extras. The room was spotless and had many thoughtful extras, such as bath robes, wine opener, beach towels, dishes, stocked snacks, etc.).The breakfast was certainly more than adequate and was always attended to by a most helpful staff worker.The quiet location was perfect- one very short block away from the beach and in a nice neighborhood. Parking was easy.It was clear to my wife and me that the hotel’s philosophy is to make certain their guests were satisfied. We definitely give them the highest rating.

Clean, staff very pleasant, lovely decorum and minutes from the beach. Also very romantic for those that are interested. Its a jewel in busy Delray.

Such a little secret that is quiet, and so beautiful. A little paradise away from home! The rooms are clean and recently upgraded, the staff is very friendly.

We stayed at Cranes Beach House this weekend as a little staycation with the boys. It was our first trip since COVID. The accommodations made to make the guests feel safe were amazing. The property itself is super-cute, with 2 pools and in walking distance to downtown Delray and the beach.We stayed in the deluxe one bedroom and it was awesome - full kitchen, super clean and the private patio was the BEST!Totally would recommend Cranes and cant wait to go back.

The check in process felt like I was in Soviet Russia. In the 1960’s. I understand the masks and as little contact as possible but they took it to the extreme. I’ve since been to 2 other hotels and it wasn’t anything like this. Pool is disappointing and since Covid -no bar like in the photos. Close to the beach and shopping though. I probably won’t stay there again.

Excellent place, just as most reviews suggest. Cozy, quiet, really feels private though you are two steps away from main street entertainment! The suit was lovely, very spacious. Wish the windows were a bit bigger to let more light in and the chairs more comfy. Pristine cleanliness! Much appreciated, especially these days. I bet live music, sangrias and free breakfast -all suspended due to covid - makes this place even more wonderful. Thank you Cranes!

Smaller boutique Hotel and Villas. We opted to upgrade our stay and enjoyed on of the Luxury Villas which we really enjoyed! There was plenty of staff on-hand to keep things clean and meticulous. The location is great, as you are an easy walk to the beach and/or the vast shops and restaurants on East Atlantic Ave. (the strip). There are certainly other larger and nice hotels in the area, but if you are looking for a quite, more personal setting this is a phenomenal choice. Parking (included with your stay) is close to all rooms and ring a couple sides of the property.We arrived early and were luck enough to receive an early check-in (thank you Cranes Beach House). The grounds are well maintained with lush foliage, fountains and places to site and relax. There are two pools with somewhat limited seating, but were warmed to 82 degrees. Plenty of shade most of time, with the mornings offering the best chance for full sun (if you are looking to tan). If it wasnt sunny enough with the trees we just did a quick few minute walk to the beach.The room was stunning, sleek and modern, starting with the touch pad entry system (vs. a traditional card or key). Nothing to lose or carry with you. Just take a picture of your code and room number (which they give you on check in to reference). The layout was great with the open floor plan for the living room / kitchen area. The rear deck was private and enjoyable with the Zen garden and adjacent fire pit. There were beach chairs in the room which we utilized when we strolled down to the beach. There were some bikes available (locked up) which we did not use. The ice machine is on the second floor above the main office. The Wi-Fi worked without issue.Breakfast was simple, but helped get our day going (cereal, pastries, bagels, muffins, coffee, tea, orange juice, fruit, yogurt etc.). There was a gas grill by the breakfast area which I was unsure if it was available to use or not. There are also a couple grills centrally located by the north pool which went unused (the kind you need to have charcoal). There is a tiki bar with limited hours as well. Friday night they did have some live music which was a nice touch.There are a few exterior items which could use touching up (paint, molding replacement) or traction treads on the stairs that could use refreshing. We had a turn down service the first night which included chocolates but the second night we did not receive this. From a big picture, it was a great experience and these few items did not detract from the overall stay. We would certainly return if we are back in Delray (which we would love to do again)!

We had a very nice stay. Rooms are very spacious. We also enjoyed the intimacy of the property and the close location (2 blocks) from the beach. Service was outstanding. Very minor complaint would be the addition of a plant based milk or even low fat milk for the continental breakfast. Highly recommend if you are staying in Delray Beach.

Cranes is feels just like a home away from home. Most places I stay at have that hotel/motel feeling but Cranes is absolutely perfect. Anytime I am in Delray, theres no hesitation on where I am staying because it will always be Cranes!

Was supposed to be open...the office til 9 pm...couldnt stay...no one to check us in...more so my fault...would like to check it out to give a full n fair review....looked good from the gate...lol

Room was spacious, clean, well-appointed and comfortable. Eileen at the desk was friendly and helpful. Breakfast should be available prior to 9 am. Coffee should be available for early risers - certainly by 7. Tiki bar was closed evening of my stay without explanation. While room was nice, describing a converted mid century motel as a collection of “Villas” is a bit deceptive. Would suggest hotel lean in to mid century “motor lodge” with modern updates.

The location is amazing - 1 block to the beach and 1 block to the main strip of cafes, restaurants and shops - in a quiet neighbourhood, my boyfriend and I both slept so well! The apartments are super cute, beachy style, very roomy and fully equipped, you could live here comfortably (we stayed in a 1bed apartment). The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool areas and gardens are lush, and even though the pool bar is currently closed because of COVID, its still a great place to chill and hang out, everything is regularly cleaned. There are hand sanitiser dispensers next to every gate. Parking is free and right at the front gate. Even though the hotel was fully booked, we barely saw anyone else during our stay. Very peaceful and I will 100% stay here again.

Perfect. After a long long journey to arrive at this beautiful, tranquil oasis was a life saver. The rooms are delightful with everything you need including a fully equipped kitchenette area, air con, walk in closet, huge shower, very comfy bed and access to an ice machine. Perfectly situated for all the local bistros and bars, and literally 4 mins walk to the immaculate beach. The 2 pools are surrounded by tropical plants and trees creating a peaceful haven. We will definitely be back!

My sister and I have been longtime guests here and checked in two weeks ago after hours. We put in notes we had a service dog and they charged us over $100 for a little accident she had that wasnt her fault. The manager called us and admitted she was on drugs after a surgery and lambasted us for wanting a refund of the pet damage (totally washable). The hotel was unsanitary, nobody was wearing masks and social distancing was not enforced at all. As long time customers we were treated with the utmost disrespect due to our poor little babies accident and they did nothing to make the situation correct besides blame us for their mistakes (they put us in a room that wasnt pet friendly and blamed us). Such a terrible experience compared to what it used to be under the old management.

Suite 14 was fine... Shower floor not pitched right so water pooled by toilet & made a spreading lake. Gates dont self close (no springs or pistons) stays swung open - premises is not secure. Upon checking in, werent given paper map or brought to suite from office person. It wasnt l easy to find room, so poor start. Room towels are annoyingly small.

5 stars not because its a 5 star hotel but because it exceeds expectations! Its a cozy quiet place with two small pools and a little bar at one of them. The rooms are simple and recently updated. No musty smells or anything, towels and bedding smelled fresh and were soft. Sink, fridge and microwave were new and clean. Very reasonable prices. One block from the beach.

Other than the too-small bathroom, the stay was wonderful. The facility is wonderful, our room huge and well appointed, the vibe is “no worries” but the service is impeccable. And Delray Beach is a happenin’ town with great night life and lovely beaches. This was a remarkable vacation thanks mainly to Crane’s

Cranes is a luxurious hideaway. We spent time there during covid and they didnt miss a beat in setting up the resort so everyone could enjoy themselves. The rooms have been updated and we were blown away wirh the cleanliness and amenities. Its a must stay for Delray and we will be back!

Liked the quaintness, breakfast, comfy bed, location, staff. Did not like the uncomfortable furniture--chairs; no place to sit and read etc. other than on kitchen chairs.

All the employees were very friendly and helpful. The room was awesome, everything you could need is in the room. Very convenient location, close to the beach and restaurants. The pools are clean, as are the grounds. Highly recommend staying here,we can’t wait to go back!

Location is great: a block from the beach and easy walking distance to all the downtown restaurants. Loved the intimacy of the property -- its scale and design. Kudos to the landscaper. The unit was modern and clean. We will definitely stay here again if traveling to the area.

I loved my studio. It was very quiet at night and an easy walk to Atlantic Ave. to get food. Great location.Small, cozy hotel.

Was a huge fan prior to the remodel when the rooms had beautiful spanish tile - all rooms look generic now. But I still love it here. Staff also needs some sensitivity training when it comes to dealing with people who have service animals. They get very in your face about the service the dog is able to do, instead of just being polite.

Always clean, great staff. Really nice place to stay.

This property is shaded by trees that gives you the impression of being isolated. The rooms are clean and newly remodeled.

Hidden piece of charm at times when it’s most needed.

I would have preferred our 2 rooms were next to each other, but I booked through Travelocity. We had corner rooms so probably best rooms in the end so all good.

The rooms are all remodeled and are gorgeous. Google photos from the past don’t do a great job of showing what the villas and cabanas look like now. I’m still wondering how we were so lucky to book a room here instead of the Seagate. Different tastes for the adventurous type.

It was a cute little room. Beach feel and modern. The floor was a little dirty.

This is the nicest place I found in Delray. It’s modern clean takes pride in its self. It’s an absolute pleasure to come to and I shall definitely be visiting again.

A hidden jewel away from all the noise. Yet a haven for some me time or that special other half. A close walk to Bostons and with in walking distance to beach front shopes.

Great place to stay. Two pools-cool grounds- near the beach and Atlantic ave with many good spots to eat. Check them out-they even have breakfast.

Wow! This hotel was amazing! Far from the feels of a normal hotel and very home like! Clean and comfortable! The staff was great and the decorations and property was well themed!

This was such a charming small hotel with amazing rooms! The garden areas are lush and the rooms completely updated. I will stay here everytime we return to the area.

We highly recommend Cranes Beach House when staying in or near Delray Beach. Convenient to Atlantic Ave and the beach. The rooms are very large, very bright, quiet, and comfortable! The staff tries very hard to please. A nice Valentines Day present was left for us. Breakfast is included, but wasnt that great. Better to enjoy one of the nearby restaurants such as Rosa Luna for a great breakfast. Hotel guests get a discount there.

Wonderful Wonderful WONDERFUL!!! This review is not an exaggeration.We arrived around 2pm to check into our Deluxe 1 bedroom suite. We only had to wait 10 minutes and it was ready earlier than expected. We were so glad to be on the first floor and close to the pool. With my yelp check in we received a bottle of wine!The suite had a full kitchen, dining area, living room, separate bedroom and bath with a wonderful cozy outdoor patio.We immediately changed and went to the pool closest to our room. The pool was private and not crowded at all. There is limited seating but very cozy. Im not a fan of the sand area where the chairs are but thats a personal preference. There are 2 pools but this is the only one we visited.Our room was wonderful but the couch (which is also a sleeper) is not comfortable to relax on. That is the only negative of the entire room. We stayed 2 nights 3 days and just really loved the room.The housekeeping staff was beyond excellent. They were so kind and came at the perfect time. The front desk crew was welcoming and attentive. Above all the location vs. price cannot and I repeat cannot be beat!!! I compared this key west style resort with numerous Airbnb and hotels and Cranes had the best prices with better amenities and rooms.My only other complaint is the coffee (Wolfgang puck) as atrocious...seriously I tried it twice and it was twice too many. Absolutely horrendous. Breakfast is served I think at 9am or so we always went off property for breakfast so we did not try but we did get oj to make mimosas:)!!We wouldnt stay anywhere else when visiting. You can easily walk to the super cute pineapple district as well as beach. Perfect location and wonderful resort!!!

Mixed feeling about this place. Stayed 3 nights and loved it at first. Clean room, and very quiet/ peaceful areas to relax.For some reason the do not disturb signs do not fit the doors and fall off constantly. As a result I was woken up twice a morning by the housekeeping. This is a big -1 star since my favorite part of vacation is sleeping in and I was not able to do that.I asked about late check-out everyday and they told me to wait until the day I checked out. On Wednesday morning I call the front desk and they tell me I cannot check out past noon. They instead tell me I can stick around the pool area until my flight. After checking out I stuck around for about 6 hours. It took about half that time (3pm) for housekeeping to even go into my room. By the time I left for my flight no one had checked into the room I checked-out from and at Max 2 parties checked in at all. Because I feel they did not have a valid reason to not let me check out late, I subtract another star.Might give this place another try, but really not sure with such a wide selection in the area.

Spent the weekend in a villa for my bachelorette. Our stay far exceeded expectation. The room was spacious and clean and private. The landscaping creates the sense of complete seclusion while being close to everything. What more could you want? Will def be returning.

The hotel itself is great but the staff is incredibly rude and hates dogs and will violate the ADA and grill you about your disability.

Nice hotel. We go for the pool bar. Has a good vocalist and musician. There is a full service bar. Parking is off road but limited.There are restrooms.

Had a great experience from check-in to check-out! Made my reservation with Shannon over the phone; we decided the one bedroom suite was the best option. Super friendly. Anna checked me into a one bedroom suite and it was beautiful. Pretty fun bar and pool so close to the fun in downtown! Enjoyed my three nights at Crane’s and took full advantage of the parking. Shannon (who I made the red with) checked me out of the hotel and remembered making my reservation.Good staff, location, quality, and service.

We stayed at Cranes for a one night visit. It was really one of the cutest hotels I have ever stayed in. We had planned on going to the beach,but Cranes brought the beach to us with small sand areas by the pools. Chaise lounges so beyond comfortable there is no reason to leave. Cranes really thought of everything each room is equipped with a few bottles of wine, some light snacks and they even had some beer chilling in the fridge as well as two small bottles of chilled champagne (of course these are all charged to your room if they are consumed). Towels and sheets were just so soft and comfortable. Customer service was over the top, beyond hospitable and we cant way to visit again!

Such a cute hotel in an incredible location. A block from the beach and half a block to #The Ave in Delray Beach. The environment is super tropical and relaxing. The pool area has a tiki bar and sand to have a beach feel. The rooms are clean and great! Absolutely recommend, even being close to everything, its quiet so you are not disturbed in the room.

Pool towels, beach chairs, cushy robes, yogas mats, complimentary bottled water. Beds really comfortable, huge TVs, plenty of good quality towels! Love both pools & included breakfast is perfect for us!

My wife and I stayed here and had an amazing time! The hotel was so close to the beach, shopping, restaurants and attractions. The hotel was clean and friendly and they had two great pools. Not a resort style by any means but great for couples for sure. I would highly recommend this hotel and will be staying again. The only con I can say is that the shower was very funky and not adjustable at all.

Im only giving this three stars because I found out there is no outside bartender at the Tiki Bar during the weekdays there is only a bartender outside Saturday and Sunday which most people want to sit outside at the big beautiful Tiki Bar but it is empty you have to go somewhere else to get a drink but the prices are reasonable for Delray Beach theres also fire pit its great for entertaining your friends or guests

I loved the privacy. The gardens, foliage, and walkways make it seem like you are in a tropical oasis. The location is within walking distance of the beach and great restaurants. The salt water pools are so relaxing that you can imagine that you are drifting in a tropical lagoon. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchenette was amply supplied. Your stay at Crane will be delightful!

No office staff available for early morning check-out. No key drop box outside of locked gate. Breakfast service started at 8:00 am.

The atmosphere was very relaxing and my daughter loved celebrating her birthday with friends. The pool was relaxing. Its so hidden away. I would come here again in a heartbeat! If youre looking for a get away you will be so happy you stayed here.

Was really nice and what we were looking for, but our ac didnt work right so it was a little warm in there. Other than that a great place.
