I go here often. The playground (from what I know) is still closed due to COVID-19 really good location. But, it’s usually kinda busy when it is though if you get a parking spot usually the beach isn’t taken so you can always find a spot. If you’re local I’d recommend coming on a week day like Tuesday or Wednesday to try to get there before anyone else.

Beautiful park with easy access to the water. Ocean views for as far as the eye can see. Family friendly area. Playground is closed currently due to COVID, but restroom area is open. Flag pole near beach entry indicates the water conditions.

This is a free parking zone. Their are always lots of parking spots. Its a great place because all you do is walk downstairs and the beach is right there. Its pretty secluded, also their are public bathrooms, and showers that you can use to get the sand off before entering your vehicle. its very convenient.

We were only able to visit the park for a short time, the sun was going down... but from what we saw, it appeared to be a very nice, clean beach access... we had a great, but short time looking for crabs!!! Didnt stay long, we didnt want to disturb the nesting turtles...

Love coming to this park. It is always clean and there is a lifeguard if you have little children and the best part is that it does not get crowded. Also if you drive on the beach you can park next to the park and enjoy the clean facilities that are here. Enjoy!!

1st time visiting...free parking, plenty of restrooms, picnic tables, life guard on site and the beach is right there. Clean, big & beautiful!! Our new favorite beach place! ️ So happy I found it!!

I really appreciate the efforts all around the Daytona area to provide FREE parking at great places for the visitors of this area. Plenty of handicapped parking and beach access with a nice ramp. Was night time when we were here. Watched the space launch 11/15/2020. Restrooms were open. Nice place to go and enjoy the beach.

Our favorite place for a morning or full day at the beach. Good amount of parking, bathrooms, showers, playground, pavilions, stairs and a ramp down to the beautiful beach.

If you dont have a beach pass, this is a nice place to park and walk down on to the beach! It has a small park for little kids, a bathroom, a water fountain, and showers for your convenience! Lastly, it doesnt tend to be overcrowded like other parts of the beach in this area. Ive always loved Frank Rendon! (They have other parks to the North and South of this one, if its out of your way... They are good spots for families!)

Free parking, CLEAN, nice restaurants at all price ranges within a short drive; but if you plan to remain overnight, DO BOOK EARLY because no vacancy pops up quickly all over the area!!! Nice beach access. Life is short. Enjoy!

Very clean, a lifegaurd is positioned there, perfect for families and young children. Volusia county finally spent our tax dollars right.

I like that its a short walk to the beach, they have a outdoor grill with several picnic tables, and outdoor shower are nice too. Very refreshing and relaxing.

I went to the worlds most famous beach in the evening. I had to leave almost immediately. I felt unsafe, theres drug addicts walking around every where. Bad first impression for my friend from out of states. So we came here.... its clean quiet and you can drive on the beach. I also took my daughter here a few months back. She loved it and wants to come back :)

Went to have a mid afternoon bbq with the family. Pavilions were cool, grill was good, bathrooms were sufficient, showers were convenient. Location steps to the beach was accessible. Weird dude hanging around childrens playground doing doing exercises on the playground equipment with little kids running around, not cool at all.

We rented one of the small pavilions next to The Shores Hotel. What a lovely hotel and area to have a family ️ picnic! Youre steps away from the beach. What a fabulous setting to sit and have lunch and dinner. The kids play area is right next to the pavilions. The bathrooms are pretty decent and well stocked. Garbage cans are everywhere, which I appreciated very much! The area is so neat and clean with plenty of parking. You really dont have to walk far to anything. Its all conveniently located next to the pavilions, including the grill. The beautiful back drop of the Oceanside makes so great family photo shots. Its a great place to take the kids any time! Love love loved it. The Beach area was very nice. And the sand, just right and not full of trash. The small pavilions seats 12 adults comfortably and costs $35 for all day. We didnt want to leave. So breath taking. Please go check out Frank Rendon Park, you will not be disappointed.️

You can make an afternoon playing with your kids at the playground. They have several grills for grilling. Clean public bathrooms, cold water fountains and easy access to the beach. The views are beautiful

What a beautiful park on the beach. Right next to Shores Resort. Lots of parking unless it is a weekend and then you better get here early. It has a ramp down to the beach. Couple of covered tables with charcoal grills. Bathrooms and outdoor showers.

I cant tell you how happy it makes me to see that my wonderful cousin had such a positive impact on those around him. What a beautiful park! Very happy so many people are enjoying the beauty and the beach.My cousin loved people, the beach and the outdoors. He loved meeting new people and bringing people together. Lovely free beach access park and playground. It has plenty of restrooms and a decent amount of parking. Its a good location and a great stretch of beaches to enjoy. If you want to be at the ocean without paying those beachfront hotel fees or taking home buckets of sand by driving your car on the beach then this is a great alternative. Its pretty busy on nice days, as are most similar parks.

We like Frank Rendon park because they have everything a family wants/needs for a fun beach outing. They have showers and clean bathrooms, picnic tables, and bonus, a playground! Also theres a lifeguard tower right there for safe swimming

Like a few of the other beach access parks in the area, Frank Tendon Park has plenty of parking, restrooms, padded play area, showers, picnic tables, and a completely handicap accessible beach ramp. Unfortunately is on part of the drivable beach so you have to stay alert, especially with young children.
