Loved it. This year when we went, some of the rides were not there due to covid i think? But the previous year was amazing. Lot of fun, basketba shoots, game rooms.. food

I absolutely loved our visit. Went in the summer. The board walk had lots to see and do. Loved the feel of the sand on my toes and the warmth of the water. It suprised me to see people pitching little tents at night as if they were going to be sleeping on the beach made me wonder is this a thing? If so I so want to do it next time! Ive been to Daytona several times in the past for Bike week etc. It was nice to go on a regular visit with the fam to visit someone we love. Always amazed at Gods beautiful creation and its beauty.

All the shops were closed. It looked worn down. The rides have been removed. Its probably nice in the summer time.

Decent spot for food and gift shopping the two arcades are relatively nice that’s all I have

If you missed out on game places in the 90s, Daytona beach still has them! Go frolic back in time and have an ice cream while you’re there!

It was really nice. Plenty of stores, plenty of places to get a bite or a drink. Scenery was really nice and clean. The park rides to me were outdated, Rusty and almost dangerous in a way. I got on one and was almost completely scared for my life. I felt like the thing didnt fasten right. Shouldve got off but I paid for it. Thank God Im alive. But yes be careful with the rides. But everything else was great!

Ferris wheel is NOT THERE! with only a couple of arcades and emptiness in between, feel a bit empty. Sling shot is there but was moved further, pier is blocked by a restaurant, could be better for worlds most famous beach, have no idea why. Its a nice stroll along the beach, but the beach is not sandy either. If you pass by, worth a quick stop, but not worth coming to just Daytona beach.

Fun place! And I like how easy it was to get quarters in the arcade. Staffs were walking around to help in additional to the coin machines. Makes it easier and fun to spend some bucks here.

This place is full of fun with the board walk. We enjoyed a live dance show. The stage was spectacular. Must visit place.

Daytona Boardwalk use to be a great place to spend time while enjoying the beautiful weather and awesome beach. My latest visit was ok. A little disappointing though. There is not much to do here anymore. They have torn down a lot of the fun things to do. Still a beautiful beach though

We came early in a Friday morning before the big crowds arrived the water was so warm. It was my youngest sons first time so he had a blast. The store owners were very nice. Parking was 20 bucks but we were literally right in front of the beach will visit again.

I loved it!!!! Just had come back from Virginia Beach which have a similar concept but Daytona is sooooooo much better!!!Definitely to be able to walk by the ocean at night and at the same time get all the lively concept of the hotels/restaurants/roller coaster/bungee jumping /fire works right next to it..... priceless

You dont get much better than the Daytona Beach Boardwalk. The sunrise is gorgeous in the morning, if you arrive before the rest of the public you are blessed with bliss and peace. The seagulls and the other ocean Birds dance in the ocean waves as the sun crests over the ocean and lights up of you that will leave you in amazement. It is breathtaking to say the least. The pier seems to reflect almost seamlessly. Youll see the bigger seabirds fishing amongst the waves occasionally bringing up their breakfast. It is truly a little piece of heaven right at your fingertips. The sand as smooth as glass and soft so soft.

Beautiful Daytona Beach! I am most comfortable there. The arcade serves delicious breakfast and cold beer. Cash only. The shops are many with beautiful gifts to take home gir Christmas.

Daytona Beach has change a bit. The Amusements are no longer in place causing the beach area to loose its popularity during a( no event night). This beach is beautiful take a long walk to shore at anytime you visit. Large variety of Gift shops withing walking distance. My least favorite are the Public restrooms by the water spouts. Quite sandy as expected however can use some (TLC).

There is a lot to say about this place but not enough room here!! All we can say is you have to visit! There is a lot to do from Movies, food, games and shops to beach, attractions and rides. However there will be a parking Fee. Prices run from $10 to $5 and or a $1.50 per hour. We suggest you shop around if you can for parking. This place has an endless of things to do. We highly recommend high stop while in Daytona Beach!

Kinda cool for kids to do some quick rides. Nothing too thrilling, just fun stuff. One of the ride guys was really nice to my daughter.

Very dirty, seaweed every where and felt very unsafe due to homeless asking for money and cigaretts. No amusements park and birds were on the tables where u eat.

There is no boardwalk like in the past. Very few things to do unless you go on the beach, shopping in the few little shops, or eat in the few little fast food places or Crabby Joes. Very disappointing. There isnt any roller coaster, ferris wheel, or other small rides, just the Slingshot.

Love the beach is clean beautiful has showers the restrooms are clean ( i was impressed). We had a great time with the family.

Nice, but I was expecting a Ferris wheel and carnival rides, unfortunately they don’t have any working rides and they are getting rusted and old, someone should do something is Sad since it was a great idea, I mean a carnival next to the ocean -priceless! The beach is beautifulllllllllllll,We went with my hubby and our one year old to explore. They have a big arcade,restaurants, stores and local vendors selling accessories, a bandshell where they have free events, the locals were really nice , they told us to come back the next day since they were having a bunch of bands playing Pink Floyd covers.I was amazed by the sunset, there is a big restaurant on the water Joe’s its nice to go for a drink , we just walk all the way to the pier and took tons of pictures,Later at night we left since we saw a lot drunk people and homeless people( nothing wrong with that , everyone is entitled to do whatever they want but we saw a few arguments and i did not want to expose my kid to that) As we kept walking we started hearing screams from a bunch of people or racing their voice , realized people were preaching on the street, i was happy but as I kept walking it got intense and uncomfortable,I’m a Christian but that was intense, just our point of view with all the respect. We Love Christ! And will definitely go back to the boardwalk and pier, to eat at joes.

The amusement park is no longer there. The is a slingshot ride and a ride that has just one car that circles around kind of like a ferris wheel. There is an outdoor parking lot near the entrance to the boardwalk, a parking garage across the road and parking directly on the sand, but each option is at least $10.

Just ok. Not much to actually do. The rides looked very ran down and scary. The ride operators looked very disconnected from people, some looked drunk and uninterested. It was a very sketchy situation. Even though our children wanted to ride rides and we let them, it was still more of an expectation when we got there. I think the ride operators need a lesson in being professional and looking professional as well. They stayed on their cell phones, and cut all the rides short. It was just weird.My children did enjoy the arcade inside and were even blessed with a huge amount of tickets from a random customer. They were grateful!There are a lot of the same stores and business owners are basically selling triple of the same items. I suggest more options, more things to do for adults and more food places.Overall ok experience on the boardwalk.

Beautiful view of the water and the beach with an array of typical restaurants and shops. You can rent equipment for the beach and other activities as the sand is hard packed. Parking for here in lots is available and around $5-$7 which is reasonable for how popular it can be.

Some fun, the sling shot ride is a bit pricey ($25 per person)

This a fun place with several entertainment venues including many restaurants, arcades, shops and amusement park rides. It is a great place to enjoy the beach or a relaxing walk in the evening.

Great location great place to have fun 4 kids and spend time with a family if you want free parking go early to the beach after 10 am u can’t find a free parking there are a lot parking lots but u have to pay 20 dollars fee

Decent beach and things to do on the Boardwalk. A few to many homeless and to much trash on the beach and streets. Expect crowds on the Pier and Amusement area.

This review is coming from a Californian. I can honestly say this is absolutely the BEST beach I have ever been too! I love the clear, shallow, warm water, the small waves, the Boardwalk, everything! I came in on Main Streer, at the Peir. There is even a part of the beach, a few streets down, at International Boardwalk, where you can drive onto the beach. Love it!

Great place,nice and friendly people my daughter was taking forever to pick her prizes with her tickets she made at Mardi Gras arcade, the friendly people keep giving her their tickets as they were leaving. She felt so special but in the end we paid it forward to another kid cause there was just to many nice things and she was taking too long!!

Had a great time and the worker are very nice the rides were fun too.

Awesome place to take the family, walk around, shop and have lunch or dinner. Very clean and well maintained.

Fun for a last minute end to an evening. We caught a live band, for free during a Saturday night concert in August. Rides, people watching, beach view, sunset, and of course the shopping and eating. No charge for anything except our shopping and dinner.

Pretty run down and sketchy looking unfortunately. Pricing for rides are pretty high given the run down condition and lack of selection. My kids enjoyed it, but in the back of my mind I was seriously questioning the safety and maintenance of the rides.

Last time I was down their they had the ferris wheel and rides it was amazing. Now two rides and two arcades. So boring now I reccomend going to Orlando now.

Daytona Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I have experienced. The sand is nice and packed so its easier to walk on. The pier area/boardwalk is fun, if a little overpriced, except for the homeless/addict problem. Its easy to avoid but its there. The beach around the pier is my favorite area and great to people watch. Nice that there are so many places to grab a drink or some food. Just watch your belongings and dont talk to the crazies ;)

Im so confused by all of the positive reviews... the entire boardwalk did not exist while we were there? They had a roller coaster track and a ride that was broken into pieces with spray paint and the ticket booth had a closure sign showing the owners didnt pay!? Ill see if I can find my pics

It was very quiet when I went everything was closed for a hurricane ( Dorian ) the beach was beautiful and I look forward to visiting when theres not a hurricane coming. lol

Great day at the beach and love that there are good and entertainment options here. A little run down and pricy but go with the flow man, youre at the works most famous beach.

Pure disappointment! We drove over an hour from Orlando to go see the boardwalk and the pictures posted for it is nothing like it is now. We didnt go for the beach because there are nicer beaches closer to Orlando. I have never been to a boardwalk before and was excited but again pure disappointment.

Dirty and disgusting, what do you expect. Go elsewhere if you want to see a nice beach.

Hit the new slingshot down here. We came and did this 2 years ago and now its moved it is 56 ft higher and hits speeds of 100 mph. The guys were great. The ride was excellent. We will be back.again

I enjoy walking from condo to pier. Love people watching, exercise, the ocean, the breeze, the pier. I wish they would u po date the amusement due to age, hurricanes and neglect. It needs a lift, but still enjoyable to walk down and get an ice cream and pretend you are a kid again.

It was a nice walk around the board walk many clothing and appeal stores. The main reason we came here was to ride the sling shot and it was a blast, and experience like no other. It is a little pricey but for 70 bucks my son and I both took a spin and boy was it awesome. This is something will never forget, ps... we also baught our video so we can watch it when ever we want.

Arcades are great. The ferris wheel, tilt-a-whirl, roller coaster, spider, and mini roller coaster were always broken. Staff not pleasant. Would give lowest score possible if not for arcades.

Had a blast at the arcades, but unlike the gorgeous pictures posted with the ferris wheel and roller coaster... currently there is NOTHING there except two arcades and one sling shot thing. Still a beautiful beach and we had fun at the arcades!

The beach is beautiful and well maintained. However, at least in January 2020, there is no actual amusement park, no ferris wheel and certainly no roller coaster. Just hotels, a few arcade places, several shops and some restaurants. Also, the pier was blocked off about halfway down its length.

Nice and close to the beach, could of been a bit cleaner. But it was nice to see family all around.

We brought a group of ten to this board walk, all thinking this is going to be really fun and have nice rides. On the websites there are a ton of rides, but when we got there there were about 5 actually opened! The staff looked very strange and they were rude. The only thing we actually enjoyed was the arcade, which is kind of sad. Although the beach was really pretty the board walk was very dissapointing.

Beside the beggars, its a great spot to be. Warm when we went, cant complain.

Love Daytona Beach go there every summer. Plenty to do and the beach is great. Go to this little tiki bar and always have a great time.

NOTHING like the pictures. Not safe at night. If you really want to check it out, go in the day time and don’t pay $15 dollars for parking, you would be back in your car after 5 minutes, trust me.

I loved this park and my kids had a lot of fun. There is only 5 big water rides, but the wave pool is fun and you get to lounge on tubes. Also there is a big play area for kids where they have there own water slides. Lines are very very short on weekdays. The park is also clean and the workers are nice.

The Boardwalk used to be really cool. The City needs to do more for the community to make it The Worlds Most Famous Beach again. More amusements and yearly events. I still love it, and go often, not it for be better. Love the Bandshell for concerts.

Amazing view but people were gutting fish on the pier and ignoring signs saying not to. Felt unwelcome walking down the board walk due to the number of fisherman and fishing poles. Strong fish smell and fish guts grossed me out, its a shame because the view was amazing from the end of the pier.

I think its a wonderful place. I dont see any issues with paying for parking since you can literally drive and park in front of ocean.Just a beautiful spot, views are gorgeous and water is calm and warm.There are also shops as well for your conveniece.Nice place overall.

Definitely older Daytona. Still the same as when I was little except the only bad part is the ferris wheel and roller coaster are gone.

I was expecting a lot more...perhaps I didnt see the actual boardwalk though because from what I saw - there wasnt one.

Remember to keep money in the parking meter or youll get a ticket!

Everything except for a few restaurants is closed during winter time. If you want a quite walk by the beach, this is the place to go durjng Feb.

I didnt know what to expect. In the little town in Texas where Im from, we dont have beaches or boardwalks and honestly only ever saw them in movies. I can say the shops I was finally able to see in person were so great. Amazing deals on fashion and food and the water was gorgeous to look at. Truly had a wonderful time.
