Historical place full of a lifetime of memories. So happy that they have preserved this site. The Bandshell sits right on the edge of the beach. Picture perfect- waves rolling in while listening to some wonderful music. Or just get there early in the morning and catch the beauty of nature and feel the tranquility as you watch the... rise.

Cute little area. There is a parking garage just across the street from here that makes for really great easy access! The shops and restaurants everywhere make for easy restroom availability too!

Im so grateful to the volunteer organization Friends of the Bandshell for all their hard work and dedication to keeping this beautiful place running. It is my understanding there are forces trying to have it demolished. Visit and donate and do whatever you can if you appreciate the bandshell. They work so hard.

It was night time and raining. So idk what its about, but its a huge public flat ground made of stone that seems lit on weekends. Stay safe if going out! :) its right at the beach to swim.

Concert was sold out, couldnt get in...heavy rain shower ended the evening early. Very disappointed, but Bandshell is a great place. Very iconic.

We ate at Wing House. Girls looked good, head was on a swivel but, wings were not good. Boneless were tough, mango-habanero sauce saved the day

Attended the Eagles tribute band concert and it was awesome. Thank you to the Daytona Beach Band Shell Star Spangled Summer Concert group.

Went to see Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band... had to set in the next to the last very back roll of seats, even though barely anyone was seated in the 20 + rolls of seats in front of us... when we asked about the availability of the multitude of empty seats, we were told that they only sell tickets to the seats that are still available... I think that their system may need to be rethought a little... it definitely is possible that due to the weather that people that prepurchased seats decided not to come... I feel that after a reasonable time frame, others should be able to move up closer to stage in their same price sections of seats that they purchased...

Great view and place to spend the day. Right off the beach. Centrally located and a good place for family time.

Awesome summer series concierts usually tribute bands although Ive seen Eddy money give free conciert there. Fun atmosphere good eats all around.

Social distancing worked well. Band was great. Everyone seemed to have a good time.

Very busy and told it was a sold out performance. Right on beach so nice to look out at waves.

Visited historic band shell free cover band of the doors from Atlanta ga named dirty doors excellent voice lead singer looks sounds like him Morrisons ghost twin brother reincarnated ageless from the pages 1969 rock history. A great talent indeed.

The Bandshell is one of the most awesome and unique venues around and the summer concert series is great for relatively free entertainment. It gets crowded which makes it hard to get to vendors, find a place to watch the show, etc. but I always enjoy going anyway.

What a great spot! View is amazing. We ate at bubba hump shrimp then chilled by the ocean. VERY nice sunset!

Great Chicago tribute band...City of Daytona did a great job making sure everyone wss safe and adhering to distancing rules. Plus...its at the beach!!

Watched the Beatles tribute band Let It Be. A fairly decent group in an open venue that could use a better sound system. However, one of the bright spots was the groups drummer. Vocals a little weak but, again, given the acoustics... Hot, no breeze, crowded. Still, a fun evening.

Nice little beachy fun place to hang out. You can watch the waves come in and people watch. Lots of restaurants in even a movie theater near by.

Awesome family atmosphere and wonderful music. A definite must if you are in Daytona during the Summer on a weekend.

Very beautiful place with the boardwalk nearby. Food, drinks, and entertainment is plentiful. The beauty of the Atlantic Ocean is just steps away. There is a public use shower to wash the sand off nearby too.

This venue is so much fun. It provides a great sound and lots of room for patrons to enjoy the concerts. There are food and beer trucks along the outter edges. You can bring your own chairs or rent white plastic ones for 2/$5. Plan to arrive early to park your vehicle, walk over the sky bridge, and reserve your spot for the concert. Since this a free concert, they will ask for donations and pass around buckets. Fireworks happen around 945pm and are very worth your time. We enjoyed Never Stop Believin, a Journey tribute band, last night. They were pretty darn good. Concertscrun from May to September and would highly recommend attending.

Had a great time here. Plenty of room and fantastic vendors to provide anything you would like to eat and drink. Family oriented and free to the public

Awesome place to see concerts! Plenty of seating area. Can bring your own chair or rent tbem. They are $3 each or 2 for $5. The sound is really clear. The fireworks after were great!

I can tell you this is the place to go party. The bands are awesome and the atmosphere is above and beyond. There is nothing like a concert at the beach. Check it out

Great place to go with friends and family

Beautiful place to rest.

Lovely old-school craftsmanship put this up. Now, tourists, locals, homeless and crooks mingle in open air for events.Disgarded needles, barf and more are litter on the ground and the benches. Plenty of healthy-looking rats scurry to and fro.Be warned: this is a risky place. Watch where you sit!

Awesome place for the concerts they hold. The music is awesome. A great time. So many people go because it is that good. Next to restaurants and shops and the beach. It has it all.

Best free entertainment in Daytona. They had top notch tribute bands. They keep the area clean and there is good security.

Its okay if youre a tourist its really nice something to check out

When there is entertainment scheduled, bring your chair and pack a picnic. There is no place better to be.

Awwww place to vacation I love everything about it

Good place for a beach day with teenage kids. The fireworks at night on Saturdays are pretty cool. Lots of people asking for money or trying to convert you. The Boardwalk amusement rides are all old and need to be knocked down. It is an okay place to spend a day or night.

Daytona beach is just...a little rougher than the other more sophisticated and beautiful parts of florida.I guess its ok for tasteless young spring breakers, but for people who prefer nicer things there are many other nicer options in florida.I would only return if I were seeing a car race. And even then Id think twice.But the people are oh so friendly and absolutely lovely, thats for sure.

We were here on New Years Eve 2018 there was live music plenty of food choices tons of people we felt very safe it was a great way to ring in the New Year. Afterwards we walked back to the hotel on the beach. Ate at the Ocean Deck, you have to try it.

Summer concert at the beach was amazing. I cant wait till next summer.

Concerts are awesome. A two hour escape into the 70’s and 80’s. Just can’t beat it. Best show in town.

Sound was perfect. We saw Pink Floyd tribute, place was packed and fun! Two dollars got us a chair and helped Friends of the Bandshell bring us another year of great concerts on the beach.

Beautiful night to be on the beach. Plenty of shops and nightlife even early in the season.

I have to say this was a pleasant surprise along the boardwalk area. As adjacent areas varied from interesting to dated and not well keep. We were treated to some great music here.

This place is so cool...free live music right on the beach...saw a grateful dead cover band and a journey cover band...both great shows

Was there durning a Tom Petty tribute band and it was a really good time. It was all ages, plenty of seating, plenty of restrooms and pretty clean for how many people were there. The stage was really pretty at night and I wish I had a picture to share. We had a great time!

First of all its free. There is a free concert every Saturday night starts at 7:15 followed by fireworks. There is plenty of seating. The Cover bands are usually pretty good ( sound like the true bands). You can also watch from any of the restaurants around the band shell in the Ocean Center or by foods/ drinks from the small stands around the grounds of the band shell. Fireworks are always worth watching too

Awesome place to be. Has a wide open space to enjoy concerts. Has been around for a long time but they have kept the place up well. Every time I visit they have some sort of entertainment going on in this area!!

Great sunset and atmosphere here tonight

Its a cool place with a nice vibe. However, you cant have a drink at a show or set up chairs and what not so its sort of an odd place for a concert venue. I mean what are you supposed to do; stand? Plus the no drinking rule is pretty silly. Deffinetly cant give more than 3 stars despite the location and great scenery.

AC DC tribute band forgot the words to ACDC songs. Fail LOL but I always seem to have a good time at Bandshell despite the rude security there. Rolling Stones tribute was great!

Great summer concerts, free fireworks on Saturday. You can rent chairs 2 for $5 or bring your own. There are plenty of places to eat at in the nearby Ocean Walk shopping Plaza with is connected to a parking garage for close/easy parking.

Best beach by far. I love coming here as it is the cleanest and nicest beach around. The water is clear and beautiful year round. They do have public bathrooms not too far away and there are lots of options for parking. It is a great spot for families. They also have a fountain area to play in for those that dont like the salt water

Daytona Beach does an awesome job with the summer concert series. The bands are spectacular and the fireworks show afterwards is the icing on the cake. I like be the old look and feel to the bandshell. Something for everyone.

The boardwalk reminded me of something out of the movies. The beach is gorgeous. Not a speck of debris on it because its constantly patrolled for any type of trash. The water looked clear and inviting (and I dont even swim). Even the light tan colored sand is compacted & smooth so that people can walk, sit, lay and enjoy it without getting loose sand all over or slightly sinking into it. It is no wonder that Daytona Beachs beach is considered as the Worlds Most Beautiful beach. Also there are rides, food and shops here.

Absolutely gorgeous!

Went to enjoy the cover band with family and friends. Family and friends were continually harassed by security guards (specifically one old, over weight, short, white staff member) Do NOT recommend, unless you like being verbally abused and accused of stealing a 2.50 chair that you rented for your 4 year old niece to sit down.

Really clean. REALLY BEAUTIFUL LADIES. EXCELLENT MUSIC. I had an amazingly excellent day and evening of fun. If you havent gone to one of the Concerts yet, you need to get to one!!!!

Been to Daytona beach at least 20 times over the years. On the beach in the day time and on the boardwalk at night every night. If fun and excitement is what your looking for on a vacation visit Daytona beach and the boardwalk.

Had a freakin blast at the Judas Priest/Iron Maiden show!!!

I loved it all but security its a free concert bought alot from vendors bit because I would not buy a three dollar chair and be day so far away a person is stalked liked a criminal and they spent way more than 3 bucks there if you stood you had to stand in main back and couldnt bring the drinks you bought from vendors oxy moron if you ask me did journey bring it.and see.had an amazing evening except security a couple of them very riude

Interesting experience last night! The band shell is always fun. Lots to drink and fun entertainment. Good times! It was packed full and so crowded but that makes a concert better.

Hey guys very nice place , schedule your stay at the fabulous Daytona Beach when The band Shell has its performances.

This is a nice place to experience a smaller to concert. It was a lot of fun and the weather was nice and mild. Lots of food options and the concert was a great value.
