I enjoyed this beach. The view is wonderful. There are some places on the beach where you can have a bite. The sand on the beach is nice and there is not seaweed on it

Awesome place, a guy caught a manta Ray fishing on the pier and released it...he was awesome. And there was a tiny crab the size of my finger nail. Great day

This beach area wasn’t bad. Life guards are very attentive and keep watch. Try to stay clear of swimming underneath and near the pier area. On the pier people will be fishing so just an FYI. No to many amazing places to eat in the area, but if you need a bite and hungry who cares how good it is.

Scenery awesome! Went to Joes Crab Shack but also has quick bites, pizza, ice cream. On pier is a bench with a shark, and a couple of other photo ops. Pier wide enough to keep social distancing, too! Watched activities going on on beach for a bit, too!

Even tho it was drizzling and a little colder, my girls loved the beach. Still very beautiful when the sun isnt shining.

We went to Joes Crab Shack. Our waiter, Bennett, was personable, helpful in our selections, and just a great guy with an outgoing personality.My peel and eat shrimp was excellent, as well as my husbands and sons chicken dishes. Must have the big square piece of key lime pie. Tangy and light.Atmosphere is fun.We did have several homeless men at the parking lot giving us tips on what to order when going to the restaurant. Compared to the homeless men in Chicago these guys were respectful and non threatening. I can see where some visitors wouldnt like this.Anyway, I recommend Joes Crab Shack, and walking around the pier and shops afterwards. We will return when in area.

Probably THE place to go when youre visiting Daytona. Go out there and enjoy the breeze, watch the fishermen and have a drink or a meal at Joes.

Such a beautiful beach! White soft sand! Waves were beautiful today!

Looks beautiful, but the bums are out of control. The beach bath house had groups of bums laying around, inside was naked bums showering in sink and doing drugs in the stalls. Seen bums with needles like it was normal, We got asked for money, cigarettes, every 5 min. I would not take your family here go somewhere else!!! I assure you there is other safer more beautiful beaches.

Its a romantic place to walk at night. Some free spirited locals fairly clean

Beach was great and we enjoyed our time here.Although, if you’re a vacationer, beware of the lady that sells funnel cakes, sausage, beach towels, water etc out of her trailer.She claimed my three items cost $42 and said she’d take my $40. Me being the trusting human I am, I didn’t really question it until later, knowing very well she scammed me. No way would a $15 beach towel, sunscreen, and a soda pop would cost $42.Don’t purchase from her, and if you do, don’t let her see how much cash you have because she’ll scam you for it!

Beautiful scenery, lots of shops and a arcade and plenty of restaurants but dont forget to pay the meter cause they be waiting to write a ticket

Walked out on the main Street pier to Joes Crab Shack to eat crab over the ocean for the first time. It was awesome crab and so cool to eat it over the ocean. Then let my kids walk in the water. The gift shops around were neat. Was one of the coolest trips I have ever made. Would definitely go back again.

We seen many good looking male and female lifeguards. That were gonna swim back from the end of the pier. Great times had by all.

Love, love, love! Ive been coming to Daytona Beach since I was a wee lass. I love the band shell. We used to play up on the bandshell as kids. Its really neat to see all of the improvements that have been made over the years. Even when the water is rough from tides coming in, its still a wonderful place to go.

To be honest... I was expeting a bigger pier with a longer boardwalk. Dont take me wrong Daytona beach is very nice but I think the city still can improve way more.

Just a beautiful place to be able to drive right on the beach and op down and see dolphins within seconds, and quickly reminded how grateful I am.

I loved it. The staff was amazing. It was storning something awful but they gave us our drinks and we sat on the pier to watch the storm pass. The drinks were amazing!! I can not wait to visit again

Beautiful beach and board work where you can sit for hours and enjoy the breeze and sun admiring the beauty of mother earth. This is a white sand beach which is beautiful. There are food outlets and arcades on the board walk to enjoy. There are some rides too if you are seeking that enthusiasm. You can grab your cup in your hand and put your feet in the sand. You would not see the sun setting down on the ocean as it is on the east from boardwalk. But you get to see a spectacular sunrise

So beautiful. Wish I was there when covid wasnt going on. But it was still a good experience. The cute little gift shops there are a must visit..

I would normally give this place five stars because we love to fish and be out on the pier yall ever! However, its hardly ever open anymore.

The beach and weather was perfect. We found $10 parking close to the park which was good. Paid $40 for 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella, a little high, but hey we are on vacation. We had a wonderful day at the beach!

Great time. Theyve done a lot since I was their 12 years ago. Last time I was in Daytona, I thought Id never go back, but wow have they really done a lot. Joes Crab Shack is good, but Id go to Riptides over them all day long. If you want something different like Chinese, try Leanhs. Definitely the best in the state, one of the top 5 in the country.

Not what it used to be. The boardwalk was underwhelming. May be the most famous beach but it has a lot to be desired.

First time going to Daytona Beach/ Pier . This beach was just so beautiful, clear water clean beach and not one seaweed anywhere. The amusement park was not opened due to the rain coming in which was a bumner but my family and I had an amazing time here. Arcades on the pier were super affordable 25 cents to 1.00 per game. Their mixed drinks were strong and super cheap. Definitely will be back soon.

We got to see some whales directly off the pier. And the beach was clean and inviting. Warm water and not too much surf. There were times we did question what was being washed in through the waves. Some brownish liquid... :/

It was great sitting on the roof with the strong breeze coming in from a distant storm.

It was really nice place to go. We decided to stop along the way and sight seeing. It was our first time in Daytona Beach. It was really nice to see it early without too much crowd and traffic.

Just what you would expect a place for you to buy items you really do not need. The whole Daytona Beach area needs a facelift looks old and worn out the beachfront side for sure. The worst thing is? Too much garbage laying around on the beach people seem to be kind of dirty you know. Nobody wants to pick up somebody elses garbage on the beach besides having a bunch of I guess homeless people laying under neath the boardwalk its not a plus for the area or the tourists but now days who knows. Look like a bum peeing on whatevers laying around and garbage everywhere in the sand and water, I guess thats why there are so many seagulls there the cleanup crew. I went to Jacks Crab Shack this is the pier that all the weird stuff happens under I guess? The food at the restaurant was great had a good time only stayed there about an hour and a half or two. I ordered two lunches and we had some drinks lemonade, we dropped 50 bucks average I guess for tourist spot. We ate lunch and looked around a bit at some of the overpriced gift shops after that we left Daytona Beach.

It was so pretty not too crowded everyone was spaced out I liked it I enjoyed myself

Mesmerizing scenery of around sea and white sandy beach will blow you mind for sure.. best place for fishing and foods from here is too good... rise rising and sun view is just amazing from here.... its a good place for all groups and age people for passing a great time....

Its a beautiful sight but most shells are broken and hotels were not the best but was still pretty and fun

Always fun but not super crowded unless there is an event.

Not much to do on the pier and very dirty beach. The homeless are everywhere and parking is a not easy to find. Make sure nothing else is going on when you go or you will not be able to find parking for less than 30$

First time to Daytona. Its great when its not too busy.

Wear Sunscreen, but coming from Florida myself. Daytona is probably one of the beaches I would recommend for people to see. Theres always things going on and a lot of the shop owners are nice and friendly. Also before going, read up on Life guards signs and signals

That Daytona beach is very beautiful. And very relaxing place to go to unwind.

Beautiful dock, lots of fisherman out on a Saturday morning when I stopped by. Plenty to do near boardwalk. Lots of tourists shops, restaurants, arcades, and of course public beach access. There were beautiful birds, that seemed quite photogenic. Definitely worth stopping by for some great photography opportunities!

Awesome experience at Joes Crab shack. Be sure to get the drink with the shark.

It was ok , half was closed. Restaurant 2 hrs wait .Breeze gets 3 star everything else , is old , not maintained . Selection of shopping very bad . Tourists nicer than locals

This is a very nice pier on the Daytona beach. There is Joes crab shack located at the end of the pier. Beach is also very clean and beautiful. Very nice place to walk and do some gift shopping. A good place to spend time.

Drugtona Beach is improving. But, still have a lot of scary crackheads asking for money.

The Pier is a great place to spend the day! Good food and shopping. And the beach is amazing!

They have a concert (ACDC dedication) and fireworks show from 7:30-10:30 p.m. They are having shows every weekend through October.

Love this beach! And an awesome setting for a Joe’s. You can walk forever north or south, or just sit and watch the waves on the pier.

Its a historic pier .the feris wheel is not there the go karts not there. arcade not the same. Too many beach bums

Stopped here to watch the sunrise. What an experience. The beautiful view of the changing colours of the sea and sky, something I will never forget. You will get lost in time, being mesmerized by natures show. Looked like a lot of locals fish here daily, they were friendly and didnt mind you standing on prime look outs.

Lots of merchandise but pretty much all the same stuff aside from stuff, if you find something you like wait and you will probably find it again fir a better price. I also strongly recommend picking up some saltwater taffy at the candy shop near the corner of the intersection near Joes crab shack.

The view there was amazing, and the wait staff was a little slow but very nice and friendly. Which was fine because it was amazing being up there. According to my girlfriend it was the best pina colada shes ever had in her life..

This was an exceptionally Clean and well maintained beach. Never was there ever a single live of trash on the sand. Our resort was right o. This beach as was a slew of great restaurants and fishing spots. The seas were a little rough because it was winter time but it was a worth it due to the lack of tourists and garbage.

First time going to any pier and it was closed. We watched a couple of people fishing and just enjoyed the view. We watched Taffy being made at Zenos Boardwalk Sweetshop, then we bought a pound of it. Delicious! We bought lots of souvenirs and had shirts printed at Michaels on the Beach. Stopped in a Joes Crab Shack and had a drink and got a shirt.

Always a fun area. The pier by the Hilton is a great stop for dinner and drinks.

Very lively place during Bike Week! The Board walk is fairly short but the views during sunset are beautiful. The only shop on the actual Boardwalk is Joes Crab shack and the rest are right off the Boardwalk. We had delicious Ice cream and Salt Water taffy.

This is a fun spot for any tourist to visit. Theres a lots of food and games so you can be entertained all day while youre here and if thats not enough we have the worlds most famous Beach beach to lounge on all day!

Was a great vantage point for people watching. Not to mention the food served on the pier. Many fishermen fishing from the pier and one man was netting fish with a big net used for casting.

Kind of a sketchy little pier. I was told by a local it used to be longer with spinning turrets. I would think if your a city that boasts the world most famous beach, you would put some effort into the pier area. Its all run down and none of the rides are up and working. Daytona step up on the pier!
