Came here to walk the trail around the lake one afternoon in mid November and wow. Perfect weather, perfect sunset, not crowded... I thoroughly enjoyed my experience! There is a road beside the trail so you can hear cars the whole time, but it’s not a heavily trafficked highway at least! Definitely recommend this trail. Well paved and flat and about 3 miles around.

Amazing place for a walk.If you want to shoot/ take photos of the planes flying over you heads, please do visit this place. I facinated to see the same. The beautiful ducks around there are very friendly. Only thing is we cannot feed the ducks. Lovely lawns to place soccer.

I like going here with my friends a lot. I make a lot of memories here. Its always awesome to just go to the park, and this park is big so theres a lot you can do and you can run a lot .

This is a good place for spending your evening.The trail is beautiful. You can enjoy your evening or morning walk with the lake side.In some of the evening there would be some events also near the lake side. This place is very near to the love field airport also , you can also ride your cycling here

Fantastic park for everything from hanging out on a Sunday afternoon, going for a run, to plane spotting. One of the best locations Ive been to for catching planes landing up close. Has a good number of flights so plenty of opportunities to catch aircraft from many different angles.

Had a blast today watching planes land at love field and enjoyed walking the path around the lake. Plenty of room to room around and have a great family day. Very dog friendly as well, only complaint is that parking is hard to find in the small spaces that they have for everyone to use..

Was on my way to buy Christmas decorations and using my navigation because I dont know my way around. My phone was stolen and this is the only one I could get and the navigation is a malfunctioning nightmare. It kept me lost all night long when I finally ended up here it was a wonderful place to give up and sleep in my car. It is a beautiful place I highly recommend it and someday Ill go back there when I want to go to the park LOL

I personally liked that Southweat Airlines was right across. Planes were landing and departing. It was cool. The lake also has fish so, you can see them jumping out of the water.

If you can get over the constant fly over sounds of landing air planes from Love Field its a great place for a long walk around the lake - only a few miles. You can sit next to the lake and watch air planes land. Nice place to hang out in the park. They have pavilions and benchs and picnic tables as well as workout equipment on the Lakeshore side. Lots of parking. Ive always felt safe here. Largely latino neighborhood. People are friendly. Parking lots can be a bit trashy tho.

One of the most scenic parks in residential areas. Plus it is very vast. Good for family picnics and just to enjoy fresh air.

Around great restaurants, and by Love Field. Enjoy watching the planes land. Music and allot of activity within walking distance. Park by water has music for all to enjoy with family atmosphere. Recommend and will be back

Great park with a surprisingly long path to walk all the way around the lake. We take our dog here (on leash) for walks multiple times per week.Since it is just before the runway at Love Field there will sometimes be aircraft flying very low over the eastern side of the park, but if youre into planes its actually quite a thrill to see!

Good place to get out and stretch your legs, have a picnic or let the kids play.

Very crowded on a Sunday evening, not many areas to sit and have a picnic. There is a jogging trail around the lake that many people were walking on. Parking was limited so we had to park on the street. Nice views of the Lovefield runway and of planes landing.

One of the coolest parks in Dallas. Noise from the plains can be a little loud but the site of them flying over the lake makes up for it. Best time to be out there is during sunset and its one of the most beautiful sunsets u will ever see.

It was nice. Pretty busy but still quiet. Everybody was enjoying the scenery and doing their own thing. Im not sure if theres bathrooms but theres lots of places to sit. Big track. And clean. I even saw people fishing.

This was a nice little find during one of our off trek excursions. The lake was beautiful but my favorite feature was being able to see the runway at Love Field. I could have sat at this park and watched planes take off and land all day. The breeze off the water was cool and there werent mosquitos buzzing around at all. It was relatively clean and boasted a hiking/biking trail. Definitely a nice little place for an afternoon picnic.

It was a beautiful November 1st afternoon. We went to sit at one of the park benches to eat our lunch.

Gorgeous very peaceful, recreational equipment for the children; boating the longest widest of bike & walking path, Awesome outting for the entire family!!

The Police Presence is Cool except they come and cause seens.The Water seriously need Cleaning around the Edges.I love the Turtles when they pop their head from the water . Beautiful Scenery.Picnic areas Running and Bike trails.I saw a Couple Canoing pretty cool.The Ducks are use to humans..

Very spacious park with beautiful lake with southwest airlines planes landing every few minutes. Love the park. Not far from the house.

Nice place for eating lunch, there are homeless people wandering around.

It could stand cleaning @ waters edge. Used to work for park dept & those guys hide from a lot of their work. Not lake but big pond.

Bachman Lake is White Rock for the rest of us, rarely crowded, easily accessed, and well maintained. New trails are lots wider and more amenities have been installed over the years. The lake needs some serious dredging, but the trail loop is perfect 5k, which makes it a great training spot

Bachman Lake Park is located at the end of the runways for Dallas Love Field. I enjoy visiting this park because it has a mostly uninterrupted, paved walking trail that loops with plenty of benches. Bachman Lake was Dallas primary source of drinking water when Bachman Branch was dammed in 1903. There is also a great spot on Shorecrest Dr right below the runway to watch airplanes take off and land from directly below. Most of the planes that fly by are Southwests Boeing 737. This is definitely a nice park if youre in the area.

My favorite park in Dallas. The lap around the park is huge and great for exercise. You constantly get to see the planes coming in for landing cause you are right next to the airport.

This is a little escape in the big city. I love coming for lunch and just taking in the serenity. Its a great place for kids because the planes fly right over you.

Such a beautiful and scenic park with lovely turtles, and snakes, and this beautiful wonder of a squirrel Ive never seen before. You see the beautiful cranes and magnolia trees reminiscent of Louisiana swamp lands. Its a true walk in the park.

I love the Bachman Lake park. My lunch breaks are spend here trying to calm my nerves. The view with the lakes, birds, trees, aircrafts makes it aesthetic to the eyes!!

I love how Dallas inner city has little escapes. If you have kids they’d love seeing the airplanes coming into Love field!

Its very peaceful and pretty here. I love walking the park. Theres also free workout equipment so you dont have to use a gym. There plenty of picnic tables and benches. Theres a kids play park on the other side.

Bachman is a beautiful lake park with a mostly tree lined jogging trail which is three miles long and circles the lake. Its family oriented with cute ducks and ducklings wandering around. I Once even saw a turtle laying her eggs under the trees! A Rowing club is based here. Great close up views of aircraft landing at love field, even Dallas cowboys jets and Navy planes. A variety of exercise equipment in various places. Covered picnic/party pavilions and a large playground. Always very clean. Restrooms, water fountains and bbq grills are available too!

Best park ever, I went for a walk and it took me exactly an hour to walk at a regular pace around the entire lake.

The park has a nice and long trail to walk, or be in your bicycle. The area is always green and not a lot of trash is found around, but the smell is not always pleasant.

Nice and clean now and days. Lots of room to walk dog. Love that there arent many bikes in the way.

I come run often I feel secure because police are always near by driving around. I like that its clean most of the time.

The other day they found a body in the lake and it had a Coca-Cola bottle stuffed in its mouth and had a message and you know what the message said, I aint got no body lol

Nice place but people drink beer in parking lots and there is garbage on the lake shore.

Nice to visit in weekend afternoon . You can see flights are flying just over your head from Dallas love field airport and opposite of this lake . You can get ice creams and snacks from mobile vans

It is a nice little lake in the heart of Dallas. I would not go after dark.

Its a great place to be at with family. Relaxing with plenty of grills if you want to cook and a few playgrounds for the kids.

Well, Id say a Great place to either take your kids at the 2 playgrounds it holds, walk your dogs,And taking a looong hr an a half stroll or run around the park,While also coming around something new along the wayFrom sights of the Airplanes making their landings, Ducks swimming at the pond, Working out machines, the parks history in the making and more.Also a canoeing area i believe.

Great park to take a stroll. The planes are fun to watch as they takeoff and land from the nearby airport. The paved trail is a great advantage for our stroller so the whole family can get out and enjoy the park.

Nice park to go for a walk maybe ride a bicycle. Nice atmosphere and plenty of parking, not that much shade though so summertime its a bit hot.

It you really want to see an airplane lands just soo close above you, this is the place you should visit. A big and beautiful park with playground, a trail and super close to Lovefield Airport. Kids were super excited everytime a plane approached for landing.

Had a Nice Time at Bachman Lake.. It was too many darn turtles eating my bait... They really like my kool aid weines bait. Just looking at the airplanes land was just amazing. .

Had a wonderful bromantic picnic lunch with my best friend lakeside while some short, shirtless, sketchy looking dude with shaving cream all over his head eye Fd us ( I was too scared to get a picture of him). It was PERFECT!

I always enjoys to see the ducks, squirrels, all kind of birds , this place give me peace and is super beautiful. Also is clean .

Its a good play for exercise, walking your dog, bbqs, playing outdoors, romantic dates and for pokemon go lovers. It still needs more poke gyms and stops but its still very nice to visit. I truly do enjoy going. Public bathroom have tissue, are clean and working. No trash on the floor or on the lake, its a good place to visit.

The playground is a bit small for the size of the park. Beautiful view of the pond but every 5-10 minutes there are jumbo jets landing not too far from the park. If you like the sound of turbine jet engines, great place.

We need more police presence, specially by the playground at the northwest side of the lake in the parking lot where people goes to smoke pot and get drunk...we dont need that type of people over there

On the weekend its a good place to hang out and take your kids

It is a lake at the end of the runway of a major airport. Dont panic your first time,the plane will not land in the parking lot they do this all day, it is safe.... pretty safe. :) awesome view and great place to make memories.

I was a very peaceful ,& pleasant day was my 2nd time being there with my daughter & gtandkids.watch the plane fly by & land.it was plenty of tree , we wasnt in alot of sun.very nice, would recommend to anyone.
