Kids love this park because its awesome! Parents love it because its completely safe, almost fully gated and super clean. There are 3 pavilions with fans. Nice spot for large groups. For free, big pavilion can be reserved for birthday parties. Love this place!

It’s been closed for over 6 months! But Google maps says it’s open..

This is an incredible park! It is very accessible for children with disabilities. I see kids with various mobility issues playing here all the time. It is safe and always clean. They have restrooms and water fountains (tip: you have to hold the button for a few seconds before the water starts to flow). There is a lot for toddlers and big kids. I like the musical instruments -- always a hit! Im also grateful for the trees and the fountain that give the more adult park feeling. This is a great park for all ages.

Weve had a bday party there and have been to several others there. Kids from 2-6or7 really enjoy it! Plenty of covered area for eating.

Excellent place for little ones, very clean, the restrooms are designed for kids and babies, if is your baby first time this is the place you should be choose.

Had my son 1st birthday party here in September, nice place for the kids. They have a fridge & ice maker in a lil building next to the pavilion. I would recommend this place for a party when warm !

Nice little gem tucked into a corner of Oak Lawn. Pavilions provide shade, but I still wouldnt suggest any outdoor playground during a Texas summer! Accessible areas for all abilities, toddler appropriate playground, and space for big kids, too. Really unique setting.

Amazing Children Park near Downtown

Really cool playground and gazebo area with a large kitchen space (though no stove top or ovens). Restrooms with changing tables are clean and well stocked. Perfect spot for birthday parties or other kid events. The playground has a nice mix of equipment for all ages.

This is a wonderful place to bring the kids and let them loose: great playground with lots of room to run around, plenty of shady spots for those burning Texas summers, lovely picnic areas, and even some lovely and unusual sculptures to delight the eyes.

Very kid friendly park on the grounds of the Scottish Rite Hospital. Lots of shade and playground equipment is well maintained.

Clean. Fun. Lots of things to stimulate young kids brain, and keep them engaged. Its at a hospital as well.

A safe place for kids

I did not take my kids to the part. I was there for some Ingress play. It was nice and the set up looked good. It had all the things my kids would have enjoyed.

The most comfortable Ive felt letting my active toddler climb and explore. Love the musical features of the park and the soft cushioned ground surface.

Amazing for take our kids!

Well I understand and I thank God there institutions as the Texas Scottish Rite hospital for children, the principal and most important objective is to help, heal and care for all children that need help, only today they disappointed me a lot, and they made me and my family a very sad moment, I understand that they did it for the good of my family, but the end was bad.The hospital lent me the Park Allan shiver to the party of 4 years of my son Chase, I was organizing with my wife for more than 2 months in advance, and today Sunday August 12, one hour before the party began, they called me to tell me that the party was canceled because they were going to close the park due to weather issues, as heavy rain was coming, my efforts and my clemency did not help, they just told me they were sorry but that I made my party somewhere else, with an hour before the guests will arrive. With my sadness and courage we had to cancel Chases party, we had to call and cancel all of his friends from his school, since there were many families that were going to come, all the food that we prepared we are going to have to donate today and the rest to throw. In short all my money, work and effort were destroyed and spent without any purpose...... never rain...All this can be recovered, but the sadness I saw in my sons eyes hasnt name. Its 8 pm and its not raining anything. Really was unfair.
