Amazing spot! Even when its busy, theres always a spot. Beautiful night view, amazing fishing, delicious food on the dock!Once within the park there is parking down the left side of the road which is literally next to the sand leading to the beach. Depending on the row (literally 2), youre about 100ft from dropping your chair and enjoy the waves.

This place was all the way worth it. All the beach entries were closed but this beach was still open it was wonderful and exciting. Just be careful with this when eatting birds will come and try to take it from you. Plus jellyfish are in there to just be aware and it does hurt but it goes away after awhile.. Our Family really Enjoy this beach.WE will come back again..

Beautiful area for the family. Close to the pier to fish, restrooms accessible starting at 9am, they do need some cleaning, free rinsing area for after your swim. There are sitting areas close to the water but get there earlier if you want to claim one for your things. Plenty of parking.

Well run. Close to the beach, on the less windy side of the dunes. Newer RV area is nice, reliable utilities, 50 Amp electrical post, adequate water pressure, large and long RV pads, concrete pad with picnic table. We stayed 7 days for$275. Not happy with the convenience fee they charge to pay with a credit card, since it saves a lot of labor for county personnel to not have to handle cash. Recommended! We are repeat visitors here!!!

Excellent spot for camping or day use. Free showers and bathrooms near the pier. Parking requires a beach pass if you are just going to beach for the day. Clean water. Fairly strong waves but my 2 1/2 year old who loves water didnt care. We just had to watch him closely.

This is great nueces country park with a nice pier and restaurant. The park facilities include a bathhouse and laundromat. There are new camp sites with full hookups, these are really nice and you can stay there for the day, week or month. Older sites are also available and have water and electric. The location of this park is between the state park and the national sea shore. So its in contention for being one of the best beaches in the area. But it gets really busy on the weekends so plan accordingly. As always, leave no trace. If you can, leave it nicer than you found it.

We have stayed there several times never had a problem. Desk employees nice and respectful. My husband has health issues and on checkout day I needed a little more time and they said no problem, not like some other rv parks they want to charge you one more day. The grass needed trimming we told one of the workers Steve within 20 min they came and trimmed. You book you pay they leave you alone. Definitely will come back. Oh and the spots are VERY roomy not to close to neighbors. I saw showers and RR being cleaned regularly

Padre Ballie park is a great place. Electricity and water in the tent camping area for$20 a night. And full hook up in the RV spots. I feel the RV spots are a little pricey at $50 a night. But the beach is clean but crowded. I highly recommend staying here.

I grew up in Corpus Christi and now return once a year or so to visit. Balli park is located right across from our familys beach condo and we always make sure to take a stop here while visiting. Convenient access to the beach and a parking lot for those who dont want to risk getting their car stuck on the sand in other areas! Bob Hall Pier is here as well, providing a great fishing spot and some wonderful photo ops. Definitely dont miss a sunrise at this spot, you wont be disappointed!

Enjoyed our stay. Hook ups. 30amp and 50amp sites along with pull through.

Jo
Review №30

The $25/ night sites is what I am rating. As the $50/night full hookups would get 5 stars. We stay in the lesser priced older camp side to save money on our tighter budget, but consider staying in the full hookups for the nicer quality of it, just have not splurged there yet. I call the old camp the fish camp. Plenty of potholes requiring slow entry and departure on this side of the camp. The picnic table is in tandem with the neighbor picnic table, both between campers, with no privacy feel. No frills on this side, and a view of the back side of the dunes. You can walk across to the Bob Hall Pier, Mickel Mays, and the beach. We usually drive down a ways to set up our canopy on the beach. Half of the old camp is parallel to the beach at diagonals, the other half is perpendicular. We would like to open our camper canopy when it is not too windy, but depends on which direction your camper faces, it could catch the wind head on. It does have gated entry/exits for the entire camp. You are allowed to use the newer bath house on the full hookup side, but the original older camp side bath house is old, I dont use it. The office is nice and staff is very friendly. They also have beach side recreational rental items. This visit, we were arriving about 15 minutes after closing and the staff member waited for us, which I thought was so very nice of her! This park suffices for a place to park your camper and sleep, to allow sweet time on the beach. We like that the drive to this camp is only about 2 1/2 hours from San Antonio, and very conveniently located. Dont look for frills on the old camp side though! :)

Lots of room for RVs or tents. They have electricity and washrooms. Nearby is Bob Hall Pier. Its fun to walk and see pelicans. Fisherman enjoy using it even at night. Sites need painted and careful of drifting sand. You could get stuck driving on the beach especially scooters. I did. Nice people and good location to stores and attractions

Ra

Location is everything and Padre Balli Park is situated less than 200 yards from the beach, Bob Hall Pier, and a great little restaurant and bar hang out called Mikel Mays. The county is working on constructing new camper pads with hook-ups but they were not complete last year or this year. Hopefully soon. This place is still a dive but at least it has water and electric hook-ups and a dump station. The price is right too. The park is nothing to look at, its plain and its old. But useable and its next to activities we like, fishing, the beach, and horseback beach riding.

Great place to visit, relax and have fun on the beach! EXCELLENT for an early morning sunrise or late evening sunset walk on the beach. You can park for free down at the pier (note: you need a permit if you are going to park on the beach in certain locations). Park for free down at the pier, then you can walk a mile back up the beach to Padre Balli Park, then a mile back... then you have about 1/2 your steps in for the day!

Very nice beach for privacy but quite a bit of garbage had washed up and was continuing to wash up onto the shore. The kids had trouble picking between sea shells and garbage like glow sticks, bottle caps, pistachio shells and cigarette butts. The parking costs $12 for a permit from the local convenience store which isnt bad for as much private time we spent jumping through the surf. It was a ton of fun. Just wish it was a bit cleaner.

I had a wonderful experience here just soaking up the moonlight. As always, the night sky was nothing short of spectacular complete with shooting stars And a nice soft gentle breeze. It always makes me wish for simpler times. You will definitely get lost in the vast array of night sky. It goes on and on for what seems like forever. I always get misty-eyed when we venture out to these hidden gems. Its such a rare and special treat to share with that special someone especially when life is pulling you down with all of these unnecessary distractions. There is certainly enough beach for everyone and It is the perfect spot for a moonlit stroll along the beach all while having a deep meaningful conversation. Its important that we reconnect with our loved ones. All in all, it was a beautiful night complete with a full moon and shimmering stars. On another note, its far enough away from everything and everyone: city lights and people. Dont forget to bring your rod!

We Loved our stay this weekend. The only thing I wish is that the bathrooms/showers had some kind of lock system where the people that are from the beach cant use it. It should be only for the people that camp here. But I guess the campers let people know about the restrooms in the park because they are cleaner than the ones on the beach. For sure also wish there were somekind of sign on the bathroom doors to say occupied when it is locked because people will continue to bang on the door until you come out when I just got in to take a shower... But for sure will return here we LOVED our stay since the new remodel.

Great little tourist spot. Close to the beach with pads for tents or trailers. Clean restrooms and showers. Laundry is a little pricey but having laundry at all is a plus. My only issue with this place is the website. Called the number listed for I.B. Magee park up the road and reserved a spot, only to find out that was actually for this campground when we arrived to a very much closed I.B. Magee. The website desperately needs updated as it is way too easy to reserve the wrong location and not know it.

Free beach, with a few different access points. There was a small area where you could park and there were wooden picnic tables with a small shade cover. The rest of the beach you could drive on. There were trash cans available. The sand was soft, and there were a lot of shells on the water line. The biggest reason I gave this beach 3 stars was because of cleanliness. The beach had a lot of trash, and there was a lot if broken glass
