This is cute little park with a lot of potential. One can walk around the entire pond and feed the ducks, geese and other birds. I wish the paths were more defined or paved all around. There were some trees and bushes blocking the paths. There are some picnic areas if one chooses bring a meal with their family. It’s a nice place to visit but not ideal for exercising.

We love it here. Its so peaceful feeding the ducks and geese. Friendly reminder, take lettuce to feed them. They are not supposed to have bread.

This park is really fun and there is different things you can do depending on what you feel up to. The kids can play and explore nature. You could feed the ducks, birds, and geese. You can walk around the pond with the family or just relax at one of the sitting areas. Had a really good time and will be back. If you live in the area this is a must, if you dont still come and visit.

This is the best park in Corpus. If your planning to go, your going to need bread to feed some ducks. Its beautiful and well taken care of! The playground doesnt have much but a couple swings and a slide. Other than that, this park is amazing!!

Great little park. The city should invest in making a paved walkway around the entire pond. Picnic areas need to be rehabbed. Tons of wildlife... Turtles, ducks, and birds. No bathrooms and the play area for kids doesnt provide much in equipment or shade.

Cute, quiet little duck pond. My kids always enjoy coming to see them. The actual park is tiny though.

Didnt get to see as many turtles as expected but nice to see the birds.

My son loves to feed the ducks then play at the little playground. Its always clean and well kept. Wish there was some kind of restroom lol.. aside from that, we love it.

Kids had a great time feeding the ducks and playing at the playground. We set up a picnic in back of my truck. Couldnt give it 5 stars because theres no restroom but the store is right across the street so no problem.

I went there and wasnt thrilled about the park. The pond water is stagnant has strong smell of animal droppings from over population of turtles. Probably a lot of bacteria in the pond. Next time Im going to Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve than here.

I love this park . I use to take my kids there and feed the turtles off the pier . Watch out for the geese. They are beautiful but ....they dont play. They will chase you around if you bother them.lol

A nice place to take your Children to see ducks, turtles, goose, even a rooster a small playground for the kids to play in...... Nature at its best.....picnic tables too if you want to have a picnic, you can.. they have trash cans to trow your garbage, so please dont just leave it everywhere!! especially plastic bags, they can kill the creatures who live there in the lake..The only thing that is missing and needs its a portable restroom for the small kids...

This is a sweet little park within walking distance of several neighborhoods. Even if it is not within walking distance for you, I still recommend this park because it is nice, though small. There is a walking path around the lake. Bring leftovers for the ducks. The playground is pretty nice when the vandals leave it alone. There are a couple of ada compliant picnic tables and its a fun place for a small birthday party. No bathrooms though.

The park itself is pretty basic. There are a few swings and a single slide that are nice, but nothing else in terms of play structures. The real reason you come here is for the avian show. Bring that old loaf of bread of yours here and watch as a veritable zoo of different birds surround you and squawk quack at you until you throw them morsels. They literally come within inches of you, but they seem fairly docile. They do not attack you but literally plant themselves by your ankles until you run out of snacks and then the whole army meanders back to the water. Its quite the spectacle. This is certainly not a good park for those with bird phobias.

Dont feed them bread! Its not good for them.Bring fruit, any lettuce, or cabbage.The turtles LOVE lettuce & grapes.

I went to visit my daughter and son in law, and she said she wanted to take me to see and feed some ducks and turtles, the places was so cool ,we took a whole loaf of bread and fed it to the pigeons,ducks, turtles they come so close to you and so m as many different duck species, it was nice and cool weather it was awesome, cant wait to go back and visit again.

I love going here and feeding the ducks, geese, snapping turtles and all other types of birds and animals who stop by. I just wish that people would teach their children and themselves to pick up after themselves so others might also enjoy the area. There is a small play area for familys to enjoy and places to have picnics are just sit and enjoy nature.

If you enjoy Birdwatching this is definitely the place for you. Bring some treats for the Birds, they enjoy it.

One of my favorite places. Bring some yummies for the birds and turtles. Ive never seen so many turtles. They come up out of the water to get cut up grapes and watermelon.

I love taking my morning walks its so calm the view of the pond the ducks and turtles are just amazing in the early mornings.️️. Which I knew the distance walking around 8 times

Its like a farm in the middle of the city. Nice place to relax after a busy day of city life, also nice place for the kids, however there are no safety fences so you have to keep a close tap on small children.

You are allowed to feed the ducks if you wish. Most people bring there leftover bread ends. But beware, there are some geese and if you get to close they will chase you! Great scenes for a photographer too!

Small little untouched park off a busy street..I love to stop by with my coffee and a book..many species of birds to watch and feed if you want..so many different varieties and they seem to get along well..theres even a hen and a rooster in the mix!..Take the time to walk around the pond..youll see lots of turtles!

Its a place to relax and feed and enjoy the wildlife. Its also the place I release my rescue ducks.

The lake full of different kinds of ducks, swan, turtles, etc is neat. Also, the trail that goes around the lake was nice. The playground is typical for Corpus... Needs some work. Hint: Stop by a feed store on the way. White bread is lame. Would you want to eat soggy white bread from a dirty lake? With some cheap feed you will be very popular with the residents and any children you have with you will have a blast.
