Its a really cool and lively memorial. It is close to the Bay so the scenery is very beautiful. At the memorial they usually have a speaker to hear about the memorial. Theres also alot of room to walk around and to enjoy seeing the boats and walkways. Also on the floor (for you couples) usually you see people write on the cement blocks with markers showing there love for each other. its definitely a neat memorial to see.

Took the nieces to visit the statue of the late icon and queen of Tejano music, Selena. It was a beautiful sunny (and hot) day...perfect for a delicious snow cone from the vendor on the corner. Not too many people, so plenty of opportunity to take photos, which was nice.

Alright so she is a big deal in south Texas. I wouldn’t call myself a fan but is still went by. And it was nice. Parking was hard to find because there was a lot of people there. I’ve also been there early in the day and I was the only one there. You expect more but still not bad.

Very nice statue and memorial for Selena. Beautiful place where this statue is located, right off the sea and the steps where I assume she used to visit (shown on the movie Selena). I highlight recommend anyone to go visit and pay your respects to this icon. ️

I expected a bigger place. I had never been there it was my first time but it was really nice. Like the place close to the water makes it feel fresher. I like the rose they have there too i had never seen it not even in pics that other people would share.

It is a very beautiful memorial its located on a gorgeous beach in Corpus Christie Texas there are things for young children and older children such as myself. There are also plenty of places to eat drink or I you just want to sit on the beach and take in the beauty of it all. Also lots of places to sit and handicap access to everything including the beaches and boardwalks

Nice place to visit not a lot to do but it was a nice experience.

Very nice experience. Her clothes were beautiful. Was not aware she won so many awards. Only cost $4 to get in. If you enjoy her music or the movie you will enjoy the nostalgia. Its not a big fancy museum but was well worth the visit.

These are my kids I took a photo of them at the Selena memorial statue.It was absolutely amazing. I Love how you can smell a little bit of fish scent from the ocean, the view was amazing. As soon as you walk up you can already hear the Selena music playing which I think is so Iconic and perfect especially because HELLO ITS SELENA!!It was over all a great experience I loved being able to see so many people surrounding us with such good and positive vibes it wasnt too over-crowded to where you feel unsafe or uncomfortable it was just perfect.If you havent been there already I definitely do recommend checking it out as soon as you can. Me and my family loved it and again the view was AMAZING!

A gorgeous tribute to a beautiful soul!

This was a great tribute to Corpus Christi’s Home Town girl . This gazebo is right on Ocean Dr for all to see. There is a story, it is written or you can just listen to it on the outdoor speakers. The story and the music run in a loop 24/7. There is normally a good vendor or ice cream truck on that corner. You can walk down to water on the sides of gazebo and view the awesome tile art murals done for her. Many visitors still to this day from young to old. Some bring flowers , some kneel to pray, some just sit and enjoy the music. Another gone to soon.

It is so beautiful in corpus this is our 2nd time going the 1st time statue had Selenas music playing this time I guess it was just turned off or shorted out or something but it was still the same just as beautiful as ever I love sit in there and overlooking the water with one of the shaved ice you can get right up the street.

The entire building is dedicated to one function, and unless you work there or want to open up an account, the public can not enjoy the architects hard work and the stunning views it provides. Wish they had a seperate portion of the building dedicated to tourists who want to see the view from up high. It would be asking a lot from a bank headquarters.. But Id be willing to change my review and promote it hard-core should its banking exclusivity change!

This has been on my bucket list forever and we finally made it! It was so worth it, the memorial was beautiful, you can almost feel her presence. A must see if youre in Corpus!

Would always stop by on my 5 mile run. Theres a man there that is super friendly that will tell you facts about her and help you take a photo.

When we spent time in Corpus we also paid a visit to the memorial statue which is a great sculpture of a beautiful woman that set so many milestones throughout her short career. You can never hear enough about Selena in Texas along with her Museum which I strongly recommend visiting. Its small but quite interesting just like her statue.

Decent amount of parking and conveniently located right on Corpus Christi Bay. It’s a beautiful tribute to the native Corpus Christian and with beautiful scenery. There is handicapped parking located nearby which was super convenient. So glad we went!

This is a great little spot if you are a Selena fan. Although there is not much to it, it is a great free place to visit on the bay front and take pictures. It is a beautiful setting and a great way to memorialize a a beautiful performer. As a fan myself, it is a must see for me every time I visit!

Good place to visit if you are in the area, take pictures or just to enjoy the view and take the famous picture of Selena statue. You can walk along the side way and they have information along the way of our solar system and you can park in the street. At the other side of the pier they rent kayaks, paddle boards, jet skies etc.

My first time out to Corpus Christi, the family said this was a must and I honestly enjoyed sharing this time with kids they had a lot of fun.

It was very beautiful Selena is very memorable and beautiful lovely some of us love her and all of us love her so much and we miss her with all our hearts my granddaughters was so excited to see her and they love her so very much it was so hard for them to leave and the smiles on them with priceless.

Being so close to the statue of my childhood idol was great. Theres a recording of Selena singing and a bit of her background. It is fenced in, but still good pictures can be taken of her. Fun experience, definitely recommended if you are near that area, plus you get to walk around the marina...

It is a Corpus Christi landmark. It is well kept, very pretty, a good place to take pictures. There are always people there. A must see for Selena fans.

This location has a wonderful view. Right along the bay and a nice side of town too. Its good that so many people come to be reminded of such a talented person. My wife is a fan and the trip there while we visited the coast was worth it.

Lots of people especially out of towners come to visit here. Almost every person that was in this area dont wear masks. I only pass by when taking a walk but try to avoid this area.

Its is a great memorial of the late Singer, keep in mind its next to the shore. It is a nice piece of art to enjoy. Aside from that there not that much else pertaining to the memorial, but thats all you need from it anyway, parking is scarce.

Wish she was lit up it was dark. Other than that Long live La Flor!
