The park could use an update. Why not put a water park, like they have in a couple other neighborhood parks in Corpus? Maybe make this one a bit bigger, as it is one of the more popular parks in Corpus.

Beautiful beach area by the Corpus Christi Bay and nice place for walking, jogging and running. The waves are calming.

As a former local, I like most of the locals, take this park with a grain of salt. However, after being in West Texas for four years, coming back to this park and re-experiencing it, I forgot how beautiful it is. The scenery was lovely and even the strangers were friendly.

This is an awesome place to take you kids to go play at the park. They have a play set, a skate park. The play set ground is like a rubber ground so kids dont get hurt as easy. You can go walk around there enjoy the view. Great place for kids and adults. I go here to let my kid play and have a picnic here they have picnic tables too that have shade over them. I also hear that they are rebuilding the pier thats there. that will be great! I am excited cant wait for it to start and finish.

Nice clean park to take the family to. You can take your bikes or rent the electric scooters to get around. Close to the water so very relaxing.

One of the nicest parks that Corpus has to offer. There is a childrens park area and the most beautiful lighted jogging trails you will ever see. There are also several areas that you can go fishing within the park it is just beautiful.

I love cole park. Its quiet and by the water. You can let the kids play, do some walking, or just enjoy the view.

We truly loved this park. The city has done a great job with it. Corpus Christi should be really proud. Even on vacation we love coming here to get a snow cone and let Giles play and was the beach when it cools down! Fantastic place!

It was great here at Oleander Cole Park, just disappointed how careless people get leaving a mess to such beauty. While there did some cleaning. I ask everyone that visits to try keep it clean, maybe pickup the litter in this beautiful area

This is a very simple little park right by the beach. I wish I had more photos of just the water, but I was so excited I pulled over and Video Called my Mom.If I had kids, I would bring them to this park at least once a week. Im a visitor to Corpus, so I found the idea of a park by the beach very cute. Im sure there are dangers Im not thinking about. At the edge of the water, there are large sharp black rocks to be mindful of, and theres no swimming allowed in this area.A few people were fishing, and others just enjoying the view. Its just water here, no boats or jet skis or noise while we were there. A family or two brought their kids for bike rides, but you could come here closer to sunset with a picnic blanket and some cold drinks and make a very memorable moment.

It was a nice place to visit great place for kids adults and anybody in between.Ive loved this place when I was a kid and I love it now. It has a great kids park and the skate park is also great.You can fly a kite or you can just relax in the grass. Take a walk on the trail and watch the waves splash on the shore. The fishing pier is temporarily closed although you can fish off the shore.The amphitheater is perfect for the music or Easter Sunrise passion play.Come relax and enjoy this peaceful paradise.

Nice place to walk, work out, ride a bike, or just picnic. It has a playground and skate park.However this park is in need of a facelift but so do all the roads in town.

Cole park has been a family favorite for decades and Corpus Christi parks and recreation department does an excellent job of keeping up the pride and joy of our city park!

We had a gentle stroll along the Edge of the Gulf of Mexico. The path is great for a baby stroller or runners, with information boardsalong the way. As we walked for 20 minutes we watched the Pelicans, Sea Gulls and perhaps doves flying around. The Pelicans were diving into the water. We finished up on the pier watching local fishing men tend their lines. The swings and play park was great for the children.

A good place to park and walk around and see the ocean.

First time to visit the area and was quite impressed. I was only able to be there for a few minutes since i had to pick up a friend but i liked what I saw

Huge city park on the beautiful CC bay. There is a long pier, extra large playground, a skate park and a huge expanse of grass complete with hills, sheltered picnic areas & things for kids to climb on. Fabulous views of the bay, Portland in the distance and the dtown skyline. Two park in areas and a paved sidewalk either through or above the parks giant hill entrance, which connect to sidewalks leading in both directions making for a very used walking/running trail. Many sail or windsurfing in the area for your viewing enjoyment. Take a walk on the pier, play with your dog, get something from the food truck and enjoy the beautiful breeze & views.

Nice views of the north side. You can really spend a lot of time there. Theres usually an ice cream/sno cone food truck parked there. Skate park is always busy. Kids are always playing on the playground. Parking lot is huge and you can always find a spot. The park grounds are clean and well-maintained. Its a great place to spread out a blanket for a picnic, but make sure you watch out for illicit dog poo. I wish they would fix the pier thats been destroyed since Hurricane Harvey hit. A big issue is that the public bathrooms are always out of toilet paper. Ive been walked in on a few times because the door lock hasnt seemed to work right in a while.

Fun for everyone. Let the kids run around. Take in the bay views . Or have a picnic bayside. Also a good workout spot.

I love taking my nieces and nephews here! Or if I ever babysit occasionally I’ll bring the kids here because they love it. There’s more to it than slides and swings— though it COULD use more swings. Several places to sit to watch the kids and I like that there’s no parking right beside the park because it makes me feel that it’s more secure. The kids always have an absolute blast.

Nice park for whole family at dawn and dusk (March-October) and all day during cooler months. A pier for reel fishing (still closed in June 2018 due to August 2017s Hurricane Harvey).Amenities include playscapes, an outdoor amphitheater, walking paths, fishing from a pier or from the shore, picnic tables, etc.The park needs more care by the city. Corpus Christi could have world class waterfront parks, but it is held back somehow. Untended plant/flower beds, lack of shaded picnic tables, and other missed opportunities abound.And yet the park is beautiful. Look beyond these picky sorts of details, and your senses can be overcome by the beauty of waves dancing, gulls wheeling, light shimmering, children playing.The park has a gritty, urban feel, so do mind your valuables and watch your kids.

Omg I love it! Its what bring my home town together where everyone and anyone can enjoy time together I love it. Also to note Pokemon Go gyms and stops are here and plentyful

Came to fish,but there was a storm advisory til 10 p.m. couldnt go fishing,but had a great time here.

This park has everything needed for a fun and free family day outdoors. Large playground for the kids, skate park for the teens, shaded picnic tables and a waterfront path for the grown ups, and big grassy fields for the pups. Cant wait to go back!

Its a nice spot to chill for a minute but not much to do here. And a sign saying if you swim in the water youll get sick.

Had a great time at Cole Park. The kids playground was clean, lots of families having fun. The covered sitting areas are a good spot to stay in the shade and monitor the little ones while playing.

Love Cole Park! Been going since I was a kid. I miss the the old wooden playground/structure because there was so much to do and explore, but I do like the new playground because you, for the most part, can always keep an eye out for your children.

My daughters love this park. There are more than enough places to sit and its close to a small pier that we enjoy fishing at when we visit the coast. The bathrooms are super far, but its ok. It pushes us to walk! It was very clean with many choices for parking. Well be stopping in on our next visit.
