If you really dont like sand and want direct access to the water this is the place. Steps provide a place to sit and look out and your items can be placed near you. Not a lot of parking which is great if you dont like crowds. Green grass and benches to enjoy a picnic. A wonderful hidden gem.

Its a beautiful park, easily accessible from the road. It has free parking spots and offer beautiful scenery. It is to the Atlantic ocean and gives the environment for fishing. The birds are a common sight and can hint you as to good fishing location along the park. I did not notice any bathrooms around. To enjoy the most of the park, come with your camera, loved ones, dogs or hobbies and enjoy this beautiful gift of nature.

We love to take the dogs and always find seashells or driftwood. Mice escape during the unprecedented times!

Nice place for some nice alone time, but can get a little full with people doing there own thing!

This was a great view of Hurricane Hanna. She had not yet come ashore but the storm surge was already affecting the Corpus Christi Bay with 4 -6 swells!!

This park has great views in two different directions. It also has wonderful paved walking paths. Many people fish from the shore. Many people walk their dogs daily. This park has two different parking lots. The newest side is safer then the older site.

Visited because of Selena nice area, not too many people on the end we were at so thats always a plus

I would love to call this place a hidden gem, but its not really hidden. The parks here on the coast are amazing. A lot of tourists spend a bunch of money trying to get to the beach, when all they have to do is park near here. Its great.

Really great place to longboard and sit next to the water. Can see us having picnics here. Not many sitting places other than the ground though.

City needs to place many safety signs along the sidewalk edge against the ocean, notifying of the extremely slippery steps, and to not walk on cement steps. We had a very close call with a family member immediately slipping and falling. It could have been a very devastating situation, and I thank God everyday for intervening. This is still a very cool area for walks, picnicking, photo shoots, sitting and enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. Very well maintained. Just dont attempt stepping down the ocean-side cement steps.

We had a good time eating pizza with Fina and Aubrey, then we began to feed the seagulls right before we left.

Went on a cold, wet, windy day while driving around but definitely a place to go visit on a sunny day. Looks like a nice place to visit to eat your lunch on the go and enjoy being near the water or if your looking to take a stroll by the water but not on the sand I think this would be a good spot.

Very nice park. I would not recommend it after dark and definitely watch your children. Lots of weird activity. Saw several men just parked staring at children and women. Definitely got some bad vibes.

We were only here for a few minutes. Parking is free... but only one way in & out. It seems to be an open area for fishing (but you still need a license to fish and you need to follow the rules). It was very peaceful but if you come at night youll need a lot of lights with you as I didnt see any light posts. There was a car there that looked out of place because it had no hood over the engine. I dont know if the owner is homeless or not but he was in the car.

Swatner park is awesome caught bottle head hammerhead shark. Great place to set up a BBQ pit and fish. Yes fishing is awesome

Very nice community park along Corpus Christi gulf coast. Great for frisbee, dog walking and jogging. Parking available along street and in park.

Love this place. So soothing to sit and listen to the water lapping against the steps.

Its ok. A very accessible shoreline area with a good relaxing view of the bay. Pretty well a flat open area well used by dog walkers. Could use a few trees and park benches and improve the parking where those towing a camper can navigate easier.

Beautiful sun sets/sun Rises as well as Breathe taking Moon Rises/sets. Great for meditation or relaxation, a romantic stroll or just a mind clearing environment.
