Overall great experience if you are a Selena fan. I did not give the full 5 stars because of the staff. It seemed like they did not want to be there and kind of bummed down the mood. This made me upset because Selena was so bright and caring, and they should remember who they are representing. Also, they don’t communicate that videos and panoramic pics are not allowed. They only say “no flash, but photos are ok.” We were rudely approached by someone who insisted us deleting the pics we took (panoramic ones.) Aside from the RUDE staff, it is smaller than expected but it is the recording studio, so we weren’t expecting much to begin with.

I came all the way from Cincinnati,Ohio. It was a good experience, I’ve always wanted to visit since I was 10. But Selena was a very big deal, there should’ve been a big building to show everything. I thought the bus outside of the building was Big Bertha sadly it wasn’t. But it was overall a amazing experience, seeing everything and so much she accomplished. I got chills the whole time walking through.

Loved this place! It was super fun to look at everything, its all original, all her things, her dolls, clothing, car, awards! The gift shop isnt super expensive, shirts are 20, caps are 25, the sweaters are 25 too! And if youre looking for just a little souvenir theres pencils and pics for a dollar the staff was pretty friendly and I heard her dad is usually around, and her family too. Some people said that they where there at the main office. Over all its a great place to stop by and admission is only 3 dollars per person!

This place is amazing. Its really cool that this is still a working studio and Selenas family can be found here on a daily basis. The museum was nice. Smaller than expected. So surreal being there. Amazing seeing Selenas things close up. I spoke to her father, he just looked at me, and walked on. Didnt even respond, in front of my family. That was a bit disappointing. We drove all night and day to get there. (I have met Chris, Suzette, and Mrs. Q in S.A., and they were great.)

This museum is really nice, we went early on tuesday and it wasnt busy. The 3 people at the entrance all greeted us and were nice.. the little tour at the beginning is cool. The girl explained to us what things were and was very friendly.. in the back part you have a feeling that selena put that place together herself. Its sad seeing all that stuff that once had so much life and now its in glass cases...we really enjoyed it and would go back if we are in the corpus christi area..

The Selena museum is a great memorial for the late singer. It holds all her history and success in a nice organized museum. One cool thing is inside is the actual recording studio Selena used, and all her artifacts of her life. There is a $3 fee charge but fair price, parking is free. One thing to know is from the street it is kind of hidden so keep a look out because you may miss it.

What an amazing experience! Visiting the Selena museum was awesome! They had all of the authentic stuff that Selena used too where and so much more on display. They also showed us the recording studio and the sound booth as well. In the museum section, youll probably get sentimental cause youll see pictures of her wearing a wardrobe, and theyll have the wardrobe right next to it. What was pretty cool too is that Mr and Mrs Quintanilla, Selenas Mom and Dad, was there so we saw them in real life! Would definitely recommend for anyone to come!

Amazing! Got to meet her sister Suzette and Mr Q. So many things to see that bring back fond memories. After meeting Suzette at the museum, I was back in Corpus Christi the following month for work. I went out to a bar inside the Best Western and Suzette was there celebrating her 50th Bday with friends and family. I didnt even know who she was and struck up a conversation with one of her friends. He was a cool guy named Rene. Long story short, I ended up partying with the group the entire night. They invited me to follow them to a Sushi spot behind that hotel. That is when another member of the group mentioned that the bday girl was Suzette, Selenas sister. I was like no way! I hadnt even recognized her and I told the group that I had just met her the previous month at the museum. I showed them the picture and we all had a good laugh. I asked her what her drink was and she said, Cranberry Vodka. I bought her a drink and continued the party! Really nice friends and family. I even met up with Rene again on a subsequent trip! Good times!

My girl and I got a little misty-eyed going through the museum and seeing all of Selenas belongings and mementos.I honestly expect a full museum building when we planned this into our trip, instead this looks like a very small Warehouse on the outside. I felt it was a little underwhelming, and feared I would be disappointed, but we were pleasantly surprised. You pay something like $3 per person to go in, you wait a bit in the entrance area, then you get a guided tour through the recording studio where Selena and J-Lo both recorded. You can take photos, but no video and no flash. All the outfits are Selenas actual outfits, no replicas, according to the guide. Then you walk to a room that was all the awards, Gold Records, Platinum Records, letters from big names sending their condolences. She was truly talented, beautiful, and taken from this world too soon. Its not what we expected, but it felt personal and had a sweet home town vibe. For you Selena fans, you should also check out the Selena Statue by the ocean. Another very well done tribute.

The reason for my rating Ill start good to bad.Good, thankful they have a museum with the artifacts of Selena, her awards, etc.Cheap admission. However, the father was rude to me via Facebook Q-productions page. When I messaged him about if Selena made her hats, and he got really sarcastic and snarky with me about it. Hes like, are you kidding me, everyone knows Selena bought store brand for her hats, but I was just asking. He could of responded more politely and be cordial with me instead of that kind of response. Its not professional. I spent $5,000 on this trip and many others out of the USA come to pay their respects. So, the least Abraham can do is show a little respect to his fans that give him respect and nothing to disrespect to begin with. I also bought 3 original TMA photos from 1994 and left them with the receptionist upon entry and told her it was for the family. Im not sure where the photos are now, I just hope Suzette, AB, Marcella, or Abraham has it now. All I simply ask is for Abraham to show a little more courtesy with his daughters fans that travel a long way for a short time to visit. Thank you.

We were cordoned off filming and flash photography. The docent, filled the gap between what I knew about Selenas career. Often, the guide, had even interacted with us, prompting our enthusiasm. For example, the music studio Selena used for recording her music is presently still used. Details, highlights in Selenas years in period and her musical life became more impressive. Selena truly was an exceptional musician. Exhibits of her wardrobe were on display, accolades lined the walls. Memorabilia of Selenas short life and era art was for the public to get to know Selena, the artist, the Grammy award winner and her achievements. I felt an emotional reaction for our incredible loss of an incredible artist.

I was super excited about seeing the museum and as I enjoyed viewing all her stuff, I was disappointed as the father was there and he converse with one group of ppl that from the sound of it only went cause of the movie then after they left it was just me and my bf as the only ones in there and not once did he say hi or made us feel welcome but was staring us down. This disappointed me in my trip cause I’ve been a huge Selena fan since I was 7 and To feel that way was such a big bummer, especially traveling all the way down there. Selena was never like that. Everyone was very nice and professional. You can tell it is family run. We did spot her father but out of respect did not want to approach him. We went to the cemetery after the museum to pay our respects to Selena and there was a gentleman and lady already there (we seen them at the museum). The man asked us where we were from and then introduced himself and shook our hands. It was AB her brother. He also asked if we were going to the statue to which I just looked at him. (I did not know what he was talking about)I feel like I disrespected him because it did not register in my brain who he was or what he was talking about until after he left. We had been traveling for a few days and I was super tired.So.. If AB or the family reads this I apologize I certainly did not mean to disrespect anyone and AB was so nice I feel bad :(

The tour starts as a guided tour with a young lady telling us more about the building and letting us know the “house rules”.
