The texas state aquarium is huge! The workers are polite. Honestly it was so so much fun. You can see a bunch of marine life and see them so well. My husband and I were able to pet some bamboo sharks and a stingray. 100% recommend going

Oh my.. this aquarium was awesome.. Lots of great sites, the layout was great, so many informative displays.. the employees were very friendly and helpful.. It was a fabulous time and well worth the money..

Absolutely AMAZING experience. The dolphin show was great, the animal encounter was adorable, and the turtle talk was cool. Also 4D ride was sooo fun. All included in the ticket price!

I absolutely love aquariums. This one is put together really nice! There was no dolphin show but they were out to be seen swimming. Staff was super friendly. Some were hard to understand with masks on but that is everywhere.

Lovely place. Friendly staff. Go early because its not cheap and with the added Caribbean part, it takes a few hours to tour the place in its entirety if you want to take your time. Highly recommend.

Great aquarium filled with so many creatures! From sharks, to dolphins, to seahorses, to birds, to otters! So many great and cool animals that are cared for by staff that seem to be super passionate about their jobs. Theres also a super cool splash pad for the little ones. Highly recommend stopping by if youre in town!

Great place love going to the aquarium taking the family kids having fun. Not everything is open because of 19. Plenty of things to do though.

3 stars because I paid full price yet no show. However, staff was nice and some exhibits were not there but the majority were. They should have adjusted their fee for their day. Maybe its because of the Wuhan flu. We will try again

One of the most beautiful and fun aquariums I have ever seen. The quality of the exhibits is superb. Very knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend you come early because you can easily spend a whole day and still not see everything.

Such a neat aquarium! Lots of beautiful tanks and habitats to see. There were tons of different fish, birds and animals to look at and several touch pool areas. The dolphins were fun to watch! Worth the price of admission!

This is a very interesting exhibit in a well designed platform with multiple aquariums.

Had a great day at the aquarium. So much to see. It was a little crowded with school-field trips. Got bumped a few times but it was cute to see all the kids get so excited over everything. Best days to visit are Mondays and Fridays with Thursday being an alternate. Stay away from weekends and holidays if you want to enjoy everything the aquarium has to offer. Cant wait to go back in the spring when they open the splash pad park.

We went on a weekday so it wasn’t too crowded and the dolphin show just started back up but not the splash pad. The trainers seemed very knowledgeable and sincere about questions. The exhibits were mostly fantastic and my kids loved touching the sting rays and the hermit crabs.The big downside for us is that we had no idea of the layout aquarium and when handed a map from the greeter we just followed the crowd. We didn’t realize the new portion of the aquarium, the Caribbean exhibit, until we were actually walking out to leave. It is by the front entrance on the right. Better signage would have been helpful or just someone telling us where things were when we asked for a map. It’s not a huge aquarium but we still managed not to see that.

They have a splash pad for the little ones but we didnt get to go because we didnt know. The aquarium was fun my son enjoyed himself and thats what matters most.

We love this place, we loved it so much that we went ahead and upgraded to the season passes for our family. I am personally looking forward to returning as soon as possible this place is so clean and fresh my 8yr old daughter loved the splash pad/ water recreation area. I loved the huge aquariums with the sharks it is just so relaxing to able to just sit there and enjoying the views.

Great family outing! Plenty of shade for the outside exhibits. The bird exhibit was closed, but we got to watch a dolphin training, so that was fun. The staff was professional and friendly. We finished with the Caribbean exhibit and it was amazing! Perfect way to end the day there. Keep your parking token. But if you loose it make sure you keep your receipt and theyll give you another one.

Its been 20 years since I have been at the aquarium. It was very evident that the staff really care for the animals. They are all well taken care of. Nice place!

The Texas State Aquarium is a great place to go and spend quality time with your family! I go every summer with my family and always have a blast. The animals are so cool and absolutely amazing to see and learn about. They have animals ranging from fish and sharks to otters and birds!!!

We had such a great time! The place is very kids friendly, lots of hand on experience, the staff was great and the food good! We enjoyed the dolphins show and learned a lot about turtles. The place is clean and you can tell all the animals and fishes where happy.

Great place for a break from the beach. And thanks plenty to see. Now if your from Atlanta this is not that aquarium but the stingray feeding was pretty cool and inexpensive.

It is pricey but my family has loved it every trip and the new wing is spectacular. If they keep improving the aquarium the way that the last renovation was, I have no problem paying that price. The new sunken ship sharks aquarium is fantastic. New sloths are adorable. Wish we lived there for season tickets for it plus the splash pad. Take swim gear for little ones even if going for a visit!

Went with family and 18mo old. Overall clean and organized. We didnt get to see the dolphins but enjoyed watching the workers feed various animals. All workers were very nice and helpful

My 3 year old Loooooved it. So did I. Super clean, friendly staff, wonderful exhibits. Its not huge, bit you can easily spend a couple of hours there

I love this place and the new expansion is amazing. I took my family here when I went back home to visit and they loved it. I didnt know they expanded so that was a great surprise. Well worth the money! You have to see them do the feeding shows.

Really well done - a little pricey, but you get your moneys worth

Although the Aquarium is quite nice, some of the fish are distressed and a lot of the specimens are missing from their displays. I understand its tough to keep an army of fish alive, but there are a few too many missing to let it go.

What a fun way to spend the day! Loved the dolphin show. The Shoreline Grill was a refreshing break. Looking forward to returning.

Very fun! Although many attractions seemed halfway open. What we saw was very neat.

I love the TSA! I have moved away but I always try and make a trip here with my kids. It has so much more stuff to do now. Interactive time with the animals, that is always fun. Great learning experience for all. I am a little sad that the price has gone up but it is all for a good cause!

Fun place to spend a day! It also has a splash pad for the kids so make sure to bring their swimwear. Lots of different ocean exhibits, beautifully showcased. A must see while here.

It was a rainy day so alot of outdoor exhibits werent operable. Still had a great time inside though!

Went here with my kindergarten and 1st grader for a marine mammal field trip. They were taking all the necessary precautions for Covid19 and we still had a great time even with all the restrictions.The exhibits were great and everything I would expect from a coastal aquarium. Some of the signage was a little confusing and we ended up walking around trying to find the entry to the dolphin bay and the elevator for the Caribbean exhibit. Other than that, it was a good break and the kids learned a lot.

This aquarium is far larger than Houston. And it has lots more to see. Absolutely loved it.

Its a nice spot but I paid $167 and didnt get to see everything because they closed at a certain time. The clerk should have told me they where closing soon. I wouldnt have spent all that money for nothing

We had an awesome time with the kids and everything was set up so we could safely social distance.

Great exhibits, particularly enjoyed the Caribbean Journey section with the tropical birds. It was much, much smaller than expected for the price of tickets.

I didnt like that they are not doing the dolphin show due to corona virus. Would be nice that the state give more funding to this places.

Awesome place. Kids could have spent hours here. Splash pad is a great addition for the summer months. It is expensive but well worth it.

Stopped on our way from Houston to South Padre Island. A nice midway break in the drive. Beautiful aquarium, great exhibits and gardens. Loved being able to touch the rays and other fish. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

The Marine life was beautiful. The stingrays were super friendly and came up to my hand so I could pet them. Best aquarium ever!

This was our favorite part about visiting Corpus Christi. They have a wide variety of sealife to view. There are areas to interact with and touch some of the sea life. We also viewed the dolphin show and enjoyed it. If you visit Corpus Christi please come visit this aquarium! It is amazing.

By far the 2nd best date Ive ever been on! I loved it. On a down side, it was a little pricey! Lol

Love it, good place for families. I think if they had the water area open longer it will be awesome, we drove a long way to visit and it was close. I didn’t know they had the toddler water pad closed so our visit was short. Next time for sure we will call and verify if the water pad will be open

We moved from Northern California and miss being able to go the Monterey Bay Aquarium, so we are thrilled to have the Texas State Aquarium right here. My husband used to volunteer at the Rockport aquarium that was destroyed by Harvey. He loves being able to see Marley the eel who was a Rockport resident now living here! Awesome place to visit and learn!!

Animals were well looked after. All staff were just so polite and mannerly and helpful. Dolphin show great. A beautiful place to go.

Pricey, one senior, one adult, 2 children under 5, 150. The dolphins show was lacking, not exciting at all. The other attractions were better. The kids loved the sharks and petting the stingrays. They had a blast just running and looking at all the fish.

Very clean and conscious of germs! They even give free masks! Family friendly!

I love this place just a little more than my son does.

Its the ultimate family adventure that is a big hit with the kids. My daughter has a great time .I am so glad I can support even a small part of supporting the sea wildlife.
