Fun flashback to the drive-in movie experience! Went on a huge turn out night apparently (opening film of Frameline 44)...so snack bar service was sold out by time I even tried. Also screen 1 has this obnoxious light from across Hwy 4 from construction. Hopefully that is short lived as it blinded my sight of the movie all night. Otherwise this place was great.

Se
Review №2

They need to fix the projector for the screen close to the freeway. That screen if seeing a movie with dark colors you cannot see the action that is happening. If they cared at all about their customers they would make the investment to fix it. The other screen is fine. They shut concession stand down at 10pm so you cannot get drinks or snacks for late movie goers due to the new curfew in place.

Place was ok. Bathrooms were not busy, kept up a little (the womens but my husband said the mens was terrible), and had a person directing the line outside to pay and enter so that was nice. Although I did not purchase snacks, the line looked to be going smooth and everyone seemed happy coming out. Complaint is its a bit small, people still driving while movie playing, and lights on everywhere which takes away from the movie. The other place I went to had people walking down the aisle to make sure all was going well and also my experience elsewhere didnt have cars driving during the movie. I know it could just be my experience but thought it would be nice to note.

I really enjoy the selections of movies that they have available. It is clear which ones are running so you can plan ahead. The prices are very nice and they do offer discount pricing on Tuesdays I believe. Pricing is per person! It is a great way for the family or a group of friends to get out and have some fun in the comfort of their own car. I love not having to interact with other random movie goers. They do have a concession stand for snacks and other things if you need it.One confusing thing is going in sometimes it can be a little unclear which line goes into the movie that you wanted to see because they play multiple movies at the same time. Also on some nights if it is a more popular movie the line gets really long. And there are definitely some parking spots that have a much better view of the screen than others so get there earlier if you want to secure a good spot.

Really stepped up their game during Covid ... super clean restrooms ...snack bar is open outdoors. Please be courteous to staff and be respectful when they remind you to wear a mask. I witnessed rude customers not following the CDC guidelines and being rude to staff when asked to wear one. Please be mindful this is California and when in a public place YOU MUST wear a mask stay safe and entertained

Their website says show up two hours early. This is a lie. If you show up more than half an hour before show time, they’ll tell you to go home and come back later. Then you come back later and the line is literally miles long - not an exaggeration. We arrived at 7:30 for a 9:15 show and were told to leave.Terrible system. Absolute mayhem.

Great way to get out of the house and remain socially distant while enjoying a movie with family and friends. Bring your own food or stop by the reasonably priced snack bar for popcorn, soft drinks, ice cream and grilled foods.Only downside is when a car forgets to turn off their lights, it may be harder to see the details on the screen for a bit.

The best part about this place is the vibe. Its super chill and fun to hang out with friends or your partner while watching a movie. The snacks can be pricy but its about the same as any theater. The one drawback is that other people sometimes forget to turn off their lights or someones blinker will turn on during the movie. Still, I highly recommend this place!

Great safe covid activity. Getting in is a little hectic if youre coming to a later showing, as you have to wait for the cars to clear out of the previous show before they let you line up for yours. I dont suggest getting there more than an hour early as youll be waiting outside.

A great night at the drive-in movie! Come early...lines are long. There are double features for kids on one screen and another screen for adult double feature. You can bring your own food, though concessions are open. Everyone parks 6 ft apart. And staff walks the grounds to ensure distancing. 2 adults and 3 kids was $20.00

Enjoyed the movie but not the ending first time I took my truck to the drive in very comfortable with air mattress in the back blankets and cooler with drinks and snacks enjoyed even more since I took old boom box with batteries instead of worrying about draining my battery I recommend taking boom box lady beside us kept turning her car on and blinding the car in front of her if that would have been me in front we definitely would have had words so I dont recommend turning lights on when you start your car to save battery life very annoying and I was beside her will go back again. Dont know if they allowed snacks but with pandemic i wouldnt buy there snacks sold there.

Manager is unhelpful. I purchased my tickets on line and was told they were invalid & I couldn’t use them (even though their website offered online purchase). I asked for a refund and was told he also couldn’t help me with that. I’d have to contact San Jose West Wind instead. Which makes no sense .On top of that, being unprepared to be rejected at the door, I tried to purchase tickets once again in person and was told they only accept CASH. What on earth. There is no sign at the entrance or anywhere where it says that is true.A waste of my time. A devastated kid in the car wanting to watch a movie . Thanks, Concord West Wind Drive. You suck.

Been too long since Ive been to a drive in movie and they did not disappointed... The terrain of the parking area allowed the acts to be positioned in a way that you will see over any cars that may be in front of you. The sound broadcasted very cleaning thru my car radio system. They had a concession stand with a variety of classic movie snacks. They even have an option for contactless payment. Good job West Wind. I will be back. Date night is back in full effect!

My 9 year old keeps reminding me to take her here almost every weekend and I have to keep letting her down! The movies here are either too violent, too mature ,too outdated or are shown much too late! I dont know if management dont have much common sense or just dont care about their customers, especially children. The food is also a whole other issue which caters to diabetes and obesity with very large sizes of food and soft drinks/ slur-pees. Just so irresponsible!

Its cheaper for me to drive all the way out here with my family to watch a movie and get popcorn and snacks then it is for my wife and I to go to the theater down the street from my house. Plus I love the fact that it brings me back to the days that my parents took me to the drive in. I recommend this place to everyone.

The only reason I give this only four stars is because due to covid-19 the concession stand was not open. We went on family night, and it was only a little over $20 for a family of four. So recently I gave a five-star review to Solano Drive-In. And as much as I hate to go back on a review. and to have it be nowhere near the five star review I originally gave it just Several months ago. I thought for hours and hours and wrote a thought out, beautiful review. Because its been in my life for long time. all i said was still really true I prefer drive-ins over walk-ins. I like all the freedoms. And thats true. after learning of the gouging which is the only word I can think of. Especially after they just started getting a tremendous amount of new business . I pride myself on being true to the people that read my reviews. Ive lived here for 46 years and my reviews are dead-on accurate.. I went there tonight with my son and his wife in separate cars. So we went to go watch a double feature I didnt care about the first movie at all it was a Disney old remake Lion King movie. Im 53 year-old man so I was interested in the second movie a little bit more. Spider-Man movie. So after the first movies over my son says hes going to leave because his wife is too tired. Realy he ment it going to cost to much. Because he says plus theyre going to come around and collect for the second movie. I said what did you say?you said they come around to collect a second debt, you have to pay for each movie. I said no they dont thats, thats crazy. That would be so tacky. Theyre not going to come and go car to car and collect the money. Im sure i said, that would be ridiculous. Ive gone to this place my whole life forty some odd years. One main reason drive inns were cool was there always cheeper. So curious now I know the review that I wrote had nothing to do with their business increasing necessarily or at all didnt hurt. I wrote was tear-jerking review of memories past. So my son said that on the way in they gave him a piece of paper and explain this to him. I said well It had to be some kind of mistake. Sounded so off. An i never got paper. I decided to go to the store because theyve always let me and everybody go to the store and come back they give you a piece of paper. It was no big deal. Now Ive noticed in the last few months like I said business at solano got lots better. After i reviewed them. now its packed like all the time. last few months weekends theres not enough room theres cars go down the street. It was even busy on a tues night now.So When I go to the booth to get my piece of paper so I can come back in. Like before. Young man said no you cant do that you cant go in and out. He didnt say not anymore. I was being very polite to the kid that was in the booth I know its not his fault. And then I ask its not true what my son told me and that you guys actually come around and collect car-to-car for the second movie? Not the same amount over again so otherwise double the price. And he says no thats true we dont do that we clear the whole lot let people get back in line. I understand raising your prices which they have steadily.plus inside the food I alread been and couldnt believe the prices. I know they are always high in this place. but I mean alot higher from just few months earlyer i think. The way the manager acted toward me. Was finel straw. I was just sooking it all in. Then my dog berks because a man is standing right behind me. No man likes creeping. He gos on how i must be lieing about in & out. I have no need to lie. Management 101. Never suggest a custamer is lieing. Unless you like arguments. He had been standing there whole time arms crossed. He seys there a sign. I said Ya new one mabe. He acted like a bouncer at a rough bar. He was redickuless. I told them i wasnt told. No paper he doesnt believe me. I left. Jessie gave me big praise for first review. Wonder what hell say this time both r true.
