Very disappointing service. They said on their website that the movie I was going to see had closed caption (CC) service. When I arrived I got my CC device. But when the movie started I didnt see any caption so I spent the first 10 minutes trying to get the device working. Finally I went to the front desk and they gave my a new device. That device didnt work either. After the second time I went to the front desk I was told that the CC wasnt working for the auditorium I was in. So I wound up leaving as I wouldnt have enjoyed the movie without CC.Really disappointing that they didnt indicate on the website that CC was not working or that the staff gave me a CC device for a auditorium they knew CC didnt work in.

My kids love to come here because of the comfort while watching. Food is delivered right in your seat. Full reclining seats with your legs elevated, enjoying your food while watching. What else you need to complain? Will always come back here. Highly recommended!

Incredibly disappointed in the luxe. The whole experience was gone. The bar was replaced with a generic snack bar and the food was horrible. No dine in service and that was my last visit.

What I do like is the cafe area they have before you sit before the movie to watch. What I dont like is that the servers walk in front of you when watching a movie.

Since move out here from Texas. I have not found a movie theater that caters to the patron. Until I found the Veranda LUXE. The large reclining seats. And the food service right to your chair. It just make the movie experience over the top. The last movie I seen there was on the IMAX. That was the first time I experienced the IMAX theater here. The price was right on. Totally enjoyed the whole experience. They only reason I didn’t give five stars. Parking is not the easiest to find.

If you havent been bring your checkbook. Everything is top-notch. The service they provide its impeccable. I have a good menu for a movie venue. The beverages are right on par with everything else. And they have great popcorn!

This is a fancy theater (*clean)...The seats were so comfortable, I slept for a bit. I know some of us fall asleep while the movie is going--sometimes...But not like this--reclining chairs. These seats are really nice. And, they take your order from your seats...What?! Yes, this is a cool theater.

First time at this theatre. It has nice faux leather reclining seats and you can order from your seat. Phones are automatically blocked once youre seated, which is great - no ringing phones. The food was great and the staff was efficient and professional. They also have a nice full order bar in the lobby area. The movie ticket prices are really reasonable for such nice accommodations. I will be going back.

The place is looking so nice and great. please get in the cinema on TUESDAY ($6/person) if you’re free time .

This cinema is very nice. The seats are comfortable and recline quite a way back. They are also very trustworthy! I accidentally left my bank card on my seat in the darkened room (card is black), and the next day, they had it ready for me to collect. Great job Veranda Luxe!

I finally decided to visit this theater after being hesitant for a while because of the negative reviews I’ve read about service staff disrupting the movie watching. I was pleasantly surprised right upon entering the theater - modern design of the lobby and a very clean place. The theater itself has very comfortable reclining chairs, good sound and screens. Those servers I was anxious about were considerate and extremely quiet. I barely noticed them. I think this is going to become my go-to movie theater. I was sitting in the second row (only available chairs for a movie I wanted to see) and it was difficult to watch the movie first 10-15 minutes. Eventually I got used to it, but next time I would not choose first three rows.

Fancy movie theater. They bring you food and drinks and the seats are pretty comfortable. Great sound. Will definitely be back.

We have been to this theater twice. We saw Star Wars in 3D as well as 2D IMAX. It was a nice change of pace to have table service at your seat, but the staff helping someone one row forward tend to block the movie. The venue is very clean, but a lot of bugs need to get worked out. Today there was no soap dispensers at all in the mens restroom near the front. There was one pump bottle of liquid hand soap that was empty. Currently the menu is a preview menu. The full menu will be available soon. I tried the Lil Piggies (pulled pork sliders) with garlic fries. Both were so good I wanted to order more. We tried the classic/caramel popcorn mix. The caramel corn was overly sweet and tasted like it was starting to go stale. They gladly changed this out for classic popcorn which tasted great. If you are in the mood for beer, wine, or cocktails, those are all available as well. The electric reclining seats were very comfortable. In the IMAX theater the seats slightly recline, but in the 3D theater the seats reclined much further and elevated your legs until they are pointing straight forward. Once this venue is fully open and has their entire menu available, I will try them out again.

It has potential!! FAIR WARNING... there are a lot of kinks to work out still but if youre gonna come here be prepared to be patient with both the staff (as they are also still learning the system) and the kitchen. Prices are actually reasonable and the ambiance is very upscale/modern. Makes you feel like youre entering a hotel lobby. Great asthetics outside and a nice playground for children. I had a pleasant experience but will wait a few months before returning. Give them a bit more time to become adjusted to the system.

We came here to see a 3 hour movie and wanted to be comfortable. Unfortunately, on our evening visit the snack bar computers were down and we couldnt order anything. We were expecting to have a light meal there, but complimentary pop corn held us over. Great sound system, good ventilation and the seats were comfortable. If we see another long movie, this is the place for us.

Wow, this place is great. It’s imax so you know you’re getting quality in the movies. The only hitch is the line for the popcorn is the same as the line for drinks. But they move really fast so no worries the chairs are AMAZING they feel so soft

Updated Review. They stopped food service during their IMAX showings. Which is a great start, sadly they still happen in the other smaller theaters. The seats in IMAX theater dont fully recline, they move maybe 3 inches and arch your knees up a little bit. If those seats went out more, they would get more stars. Theyre slowing improving this place and for the price for the IMAX, its worth dealing with a bad seat.

Great sound, comfortable reclining chairs and beer delivered what else could you want? Besides maybe a parking spot. If lack of parking wasnt part of the experience Id give it better ratings. They should have built a parking garage in the Veranda.

Good price, large comfortable reclining seats, and food service right to you. Staff walking around can get a little distracting but better than having to leave to refill drinks/popcorn in the middle of the movie. Isles are large and the staff did try to stay out of view. I wish the the Regal by home was like this. I would go to the movies so much more often.

Ive been to this theater a few times now and have had a really great experience each time. My parents actually told me about it, they are big fans, and Im glad they did. The full recliner chairs are awesome and the food that Ive tried so far has been delicious. Ive tried the bbq bacon burger, the sliders, popcorn, and omg the garlic fries are the best!! The hot cookies are amazing too. Each time the staff has been really friendly and nice!

My favorite cinema, they wait on you at your seat, they play limited release movies and the shopping center its connected too has alot to offer. Its a great little cinema and i love it!

Took my kids out for a special movie... Frozen 2, we loved the movie. Olaf is our favorite. We sat in the middle area of the screen and were unable to get the attention of the attendants to order my 3 kids a popcorn and drink. Fyi... Having no walk up snak bar is a mistake.

A nice newer theater in the area with an option of ordering food right from your seat.My only tip is to never choose the handicap front row seats in their IMAX theater. The seats dont recline for safety purposes. Save your neck and sit further back.

Nice plave just do not care for how to order snacks. They come to you it takes forever to place your order then forever to get it. They need a concession stand.

Move experience was good here. Tried this out for the waiter service. Not the best, as it was distracting and very slow. That said, it is a good service to offer and makes it to where you do not miss any of the movie.

Very clean establishment. They have a sit in bar area with nice chandeliers above with great sitting space. This theater is very fancy they have the recliner seats and a button to push which lights up to let the servers know that you would like to order food. They bring the food right to you in a timely manner. The food menu is right out front before you enter into your screen room. I had a great time here, Im looking forward to coming back!

I love this theater. Great screens, great staff, and comfortable seating. I drive a half hour just to see a movie. And the surrounding area with the restaurants and shops are also great. Make sure to take a picture with the beautiful water display...

Dope theater!!! Dont go to IMAX, it is false advertising and a total waste of money, it is not true IMAX. it is a tiny BS screen they charge a premium for. But the Bartender manager is AWESOME!!! He is so nice and friendly, and he teaches his employees well. They make great cocktails!!! The food is SOOOO BOMB. Its expensive here for sure, but you get what you pay for. Its a treat whenever I come here versus the dirt cheap Maya I usually attend

This theater was very comfortable clean and accommodating the menu was pretty well put together the new underground it had something for everybody in my party to enjoy

I went to see Godzilla in IMAX and man it was a nice experience. Very open and comfortable. The seating is clean and you feel like your space is being invaded compared to other theaters. The service was fast but forgot my water. However, a forgotten water didnt ruin my entire experience. The move was loud and clear with no interruptions even the previews had me engaged. The staff are polite and welcoming.

For a fairly new theatre it was dirty, the popcorn was disgusting, and the bathrooms were run down and filthy. It looked much older (wear & tear wise) and poorly tended to. HUGELY DISAPPOINTED & wont ever be returning. Id rather spend $13 a ticket at a much nicer theatre.

Luxe is RIGHT!!! This is the best place for family night, date night, girls night out or boys night out too! The theaters are incredibly high-end and super clean! Walking into newly mopped floors for every movie is truly amazing and much appreciated. The food is bar foodie delight and the cocktails are hand- craft. The fact that you can have all of this delivered to your luxury lounger is way too much incredible icing on this movie cake. The bar area is gorgeous and has two nice flat screens for sports enthusiasts. There is outdoor seating with fire pits and lounge-style furniture. The techni-color water fountains are vegas-like and fun to watch! I love going here (and XD lounge nearby is nice too, but nowhere near this good). I can NEVER again watch a movie in a regular theater ever again. I love the call button at your seat which allows you to order from your seat - highly recommended. Please go here , I promise you will love the experience. Its time to relax, put your feet up, be served some great food and drink and watch an awesome movie!!! Also, there are some additional restaurants moving into the complex that look like they are going to be AMAAAAAZING!

The first movie I watched there was the Winchester movie it was pretty scary I love the service there they serve you food and beer at your spot comfy seats that recline. Also theres an ice skating rink in front of the new theater wow Concord has it really going on. I wish I didnt move from there.

Ugh. I like it and hate it all in one. Im sure someone, somewhere thought that concession service to your seat was a brilliant customer service advancement, and on paper it sounds amazing, but its not. I would rather grab my popcorn and drink and just be munching. Instead, Im waiting... and waiting... fumble for credit cards in my seat... wait some more... the concept sounds good but ugh. I just dread it.

Wonderful atmosphere inside, and all around the theater. Wait service from the theater. Food prices are high, not sure I wouldnt rather stand in line and get my own popcorn. But the selection is good and everything we tried was tasty. Blue cheese bacon fries and the caramel popcorn were terrific.

Spacious seating. And food is pretty inexpensive for a date night. Also if you go on weekdays its not really pack so you get some nice quiet time with your S.O.

My absolute favorite theater when it comes to the dine-in feature. I had heard about it before but I never experienced it until last week and my mind was blown. My kids and I enjoyed every minute and they ordered popcorn, my husband ordered hot dog and garlic fries, we got a big soda to share and I ordered 5 fresh baked cookies out of the oven. It all cost me $30! Now that is where you insert your happy dance!!! Our family had a great time out and enjoyed our movie and as for my husband and I, we have made this our official date night movie theater when we want to have dinner and a movie.The only disappointment we had on our last visit was that we showed up a little bit late for the movie, Im going to say 10 minutes in because of the conditions on the freeway and where we were traveling from. We saw that someone was in our pre-selected seats so we told them that it was our seats and even showed it to them. They acted as though they didnt want to get out of our seats because they had already ordered food. The nerve of them! We paid for these tickets and we are already late and missing the movie and you wont get out of our seats because you disrespectfully order food from a seat you didnt pay for? I was not happy and as we were trying to find a resolution to the issue, waiters and waitresses zipped past me and no one stopped to see what the commotion was about. Perhaps they just wanted us to handle it on our own but it was quite frustrating. Security should do better. Since that was on our last experience in our first experience was wonderful, we will definitely try it again but we will not tolerate this type of behavior with your paying customers.

This theater is pretty awesome - just have to take away a few stars because theyre very inconsistent starting the movies on time.... Our latest one started 14 minutes late. Not sure why they have challenges keeping a schedule, but its a bit annoying when you rush to get there on time and then have to leave the theater and ask (sometimes twice) to ask them to start the movie.......Otherwise, decent food, super comfy recliners, and an intimate setting. People havent ruined it yet with their annoying phone screens or ringtones, so lets hope it stays that way!

Overall this is a really nice place. It is in line as far as comfort with the other movie theaters in the area but they also allow you to order food and drinks from your seat. Also they have a great $6 movie day on Tuesdays... A lethal combination if you were trying to hold out on watching a particular movie :)

For a cinema being in a nice area and pretty good about serving the costumers their food orders, todays visit at movies their bathrooms were pretty neglected. No lie every bathroom stall looked like this or worse (obviously I wont post the graphic looking ones). Not sure if they had a busy night but they definitely need someone solely on maintenance. I know this isnt their fault and a lot of adults are slobs but they still should look presentable if the rest of the place looks fine. Other than that, we enjoyed our movie. Overpriced food/drinks, but whats new!?

New style of theater. Full service bar and food. They bring it to your seat. Seating is comfortable with lots of legroom. Food is pretty good, but pricing is high (similar to every theater or stadium). Once you go here (or a similar style), it is tough to go anywhere else

Great place! Many restaurants to choose from, an outdoor area for kids to play at, a movie theater and stores to shop at. Only problem is that there isnt a lot of parking because its always crowded. Other than that, its great.

Have been to this movie theater plenty of times and had great experiences in the past. Not today, received my food order one hour and 45 minutes after placing the order, right before the movie was over. I had to leave out of the movie theater after an hour to ask where my food was. Still didnt receive the food until 45 minutes later. Asked for a refund for the food, instead was given a voucher for another movie in which I would have to wait 2 weeks after the movie being out. Def was not compensated properly or given a proper apology. Wont be going back.

This will DEFINITELY be my new movie spot! The electronic reclining chairs are awesome! You even can order food at a reasonable price & have it brought to you while enjoying the movie, very clean & upscale!

We went to the premiere of Avengers End Game last night 4/25 at 6:00 pm. The theater is very nice and the seats are very comfy. Unfortunately the experience was less than pleasurable when I used the ladies room to find there was not one seat cover. However, there were at least 20 employees standing in the hall just chatting away. One of whom was a female manager. I did interrupt their socializing to inform them of the condition of the ladies room

Love the cinema with recliners and out of seat orders. The food and bar drinks get ordered by call of button on the seat and delivered by waiter staff. Tuesday is bargain day at $6 movies for regular movies, extra for larger screens IMAX and 3D. Parking is ample during the day, Peet’s coffee, ice cream and sushi on the same plaza along with dancing fountains and children play structure just outside the cinema.

This theater is really nice. I like that you order consessions from your seats, so you dont have to miss any part of the movie. The seats are really comfy as well. The only downside is there is not a lot of parking, so you have to park pretty far and walk a bit.

Wish I could give less stars. If you’re given the option to book tickets online you should be able to cancel online. Every other theatre lets you cancel online and this one is only in person, ridiculous! If you’re canceling tickets why would I show up in person if I’m not going to the show.

Beware of the strong sewer smell in one of the big IMAX theaters right behind the ticket taker.Management seems to believe this is due to drain water backing up, but I cant believe anything as pungent as this wasnt from trash or sewer. It doesnt take much googling to discover that sewer gas is toxic and could explode. We got a refund, but the managers lack of concern for a toxic situation doesnt leave me wanting to ever give them money again. Closing the theaters that have this odor until this problem is resolved would seem to be the responsible thing. I wasnt the only one that smelled it. Two other people were expressing similar concerns, but the manager didnt care.

The complex is really nice set up and the food selection is great! I ordered the sliders, which came with a bowlful of fries. It was extremely filling. The wait staff is very nice and accommodating. Its definitely worth going there to watch movies!

$9 IMAX matinee!! Seats are those kind you pick and are nice leather like and recline, you do have to get your food first as they dont bring it like most others like this but I we all pretty nice

Loved this theatre! I feel like Ive been overpaying elsewhere, this place makes you feel spoiled. There is a bar where you can order drinks, and no concession stands. You simply sit in your seat and press a button for someone to come to you and take your order. The prices are shockingly reasonable for a movie theater!

This is one of the newer theaters in the area and because of that Im going to cut it some slack.This theater allows you to order your concessions while being seated in your previously reserved seat. The problem is if they get an item wrong it usually takes the entire movie to get it corrected, i.e. butter no butter, etc.The other thing is if you dont ask for napkins they dont bring them so if you make a mess youre pretty much on your own.Once the staff gets this all figured out it may go a little smoother but I think the layout is part of the problem. The staff can only get the concessions from one area in the theater and have to carry it back to all the theaters individually. Its pretty much a man killer as far as the staff are concerned.

Great Experience ! It kinda had a college campus kinda vibe you see in movies lol , which made it cool . Everything looks so elegant . People serve you in the theater, there are recliners, and it was just wonderful!

Im only giving it 2 stars because the theater itself is nice. The seats are fairly comfortable, and you can reserve your seat online. In the imax theater, theres a railing in front of you and if you recline in your seat a little bit, the bottom of the screen is cut off.There isnt a concession stand like normal theaters have. And this seems like something they should have put in. They have a bar to get drinks, but I didnt go there, so I wont review that.When we went to give the tickets to the ticket guy, he didnt give us a menu. Being the first time here, we didnt know how to get popcorn and drinks.The system they have is a little wonky. You place your order from your seat. Youre supposed to hit the service button at your seat, and a server is supposed to come by to take your order. When I went, we arrived about 15 minutes before the movie started, and there was only one server taking orders for the entire imax theater. The server didnt make it to us before the movie started, and she didnt get to us until 40 minutes into it. We didnt have a menu, but we ordered 2 popcorns and a couple of drinks. We paid cash (they prefer credit btw) and we didnt get served for another 20 minutes.They finally came back, and they only delivered one popcorn and two drinks, and only one straw. No napkins either. We waited another 15 minutes before someone came by again only to tell us that they ran out of popcorn and that we would get a refund. If we hadnt asked about it, they would have never even mentioned it.The movie ended and we still hadnt gotten our refund or change from when we paid. We had to go to the manager where we joined a few other groups of people with similar issues of not receiving what they ordered. We ended up getting a refund, but in not sure if Ill come back again. The food is rather expensive, even for movie theater standards. $5 for a soda, in a glass, where I can go to another theater and get a larger soda for less. And the large popcorn looks like a medium. The servers going in and out during the movie is a distraction, and since we didnt have a menu, we had no idea what we were ordering.So my opinion is, go here to see an imax movie, but dont expect to order food, let alone receive it. Go to the one in Martinez, Contra Costa Stadium. They have a large screen with recliners and an actual concession stand. Funny how theyre both owned by the same company and they both do things completely different.

The safety bar in front of you is too high when you lean back. Also the service is sooo slow and the food is all cold! The seats are uncomfortable and get hot! I watched IMAX and not worth the $16!

To find parking can be stressful. I don’t know why they call that place Luxe. There’s nothing “luxe” about it. Much better at Brenden Theaters where parking is easy to find, friendly customer service, home theater feel with large fully reclining seats.

The theater is nice and comfortable but the whole waiter service is terrible. It takes longer to get an employee to just come and take your order compared to if you were to just get it your self however it is not possible as they have removed the snack bar and replaced it with a full bar. At times even after pushing my service button to call for a waiter the button light would be turned off after waiting a while needing me to push it again and wait longer for service.

Its a really nice looking place, but when watching a movie and ordering food it is NOT worth it. My husband, kids and I pressed our button during the previews, it took FOREVER before someone came to us. I ordered 5 WARM cookies, I got it cold. I ordered a large popcorn, dry, cold and tasted old. It took half of the movie to get our order, I was better off ordering my own things and getting it myself. Weve been to plenty of other theaters, this one just looks pretty.

3 things:1) Customer service at this cinema is something to be desired. Went to see the latest Star Wars in IMAX 3D and given DIRTY glasses with fingerprints and what appeared to be oil stains. Went back to ask for a different pair but person handing them out said, Oh theyre all like that. You can get a napkin over there and clean it off. Didnt appreciate this at all. Ive been to numerous IMAX cinemas in the USA and overseas. Have NEVER received this level of rudeness even overseas in Singapore, China, Canada, or Australia. Spoke with management and they promised theyd do something about their staff. Remains to be seen though. This is my second terrible customer service experience at this place. Next time Ill take the longer drive to Dublin or Emeryville instead for any IMAX movies.2) Despite being a newer facility, the seats are lacking and wanting. Compared to other reserved seating with recliners, these seats only recline a little bit compared to older nearby cinemas like Cinemark in Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill or Brentwood in Concord. Those seats recline more AND warm up too. Disappointing.3) Parking. Whoever designed this shopping mall failed in parking. You can spend 20 minutes looking for parking on a regular day, much more holiday season. Parking FAIL.

Great experience. Theater is clean, modern and comfortable. Sound was amazing and screen quality great. Food service at your seat has smoothed out well from what early reviewers reported. I recommend grabbing your cocktail from the bar if youre ordering one. Its faster than ordering it from your seat.

Normally this is a great experience. For some reason this time we only got a portion of our order and my son went the whole movie without a drink or popcorn. I even told two other server who said they will pass it on. My button was pushed for a good 15 mins before a response. I have never had this much trouble before. A manager did refund me the cost of drinks and popcorn.

There is nothing luxe about this place. Parking is horrible, there are way too many seats in a theater, the dining table sizes are a joke, their menu is just concession food, and my whole time there not one waiter asked if Id like to order anything... such a disappointment.

Nice Movie Experience. The reclining leather seats are comfortable and the sound quality/acoustics are really good. Overall, the quality of the food offerings are good.I recommend purchasing tickets ahead of time and save time. Only one service person was available to assist with seat selection/purchases while another person handled online ticket orders. I would definitely go back!Update 12/20/18: Food and drink service in the theater is no longer available. Patrons now have to purchase items at the bar. Be prepared to stand in line.
