I love this theater it has so much character and theres always so many people ready to help. Plus you can bring beer and wine into the theater and they have these lids for your popcorn for mixing and sharing. They are hard to get on the bucket but it is a nice touch! Just a nice classy theater with nice character more than most theaters!

First time at this theater. Womens restrooms were not clean.I ordered a polish kielbasa sausage, fries and medium drink for $20What I received appeared to be a hotdog with peppers and onion. The bun definitely was larger than the kielbasa.Employees were nice and helpful. Theater was very clean and comfortable.

Had a great time at Brenden Theatres. Arrived a little early to enjoy a drink at their cafe/bar. The reclining chairs are comfortable. Dont get too comfortable though, you might miss the movie. This place is a hidden gem in the middle of the city. It looks old on the outside, but the inside is modern and filled with nice touches. They provide tops for the popcorn that can be used to make sharing easier, Pepsi is the soda dispensary, and the seating is phenomenal. I was surprised by the use of plush reserved seating for a regular priced movie.I think I found my favorite new local theater.

Movie theaters are expensive wherever you go but this theater has some awesome amenities. They have a bar/grill and you can take the food and drinks into the movie. The seats are comfy and you can get your seats ahead of time. The staff are understanding as well. I went once and ended up feeling super sick so they gave us movie passes for next time. They are great! And they are nearby so much in Concord.

Its great just like always! My husband and I love going to this movie house. The people are polite and happy to help. The seats are very comfortable and the theaters are never crowded. Those are all big pluses in my book every time!

Nice theater. The recliners are comfortable, though I think there is less available seating with them. Prices are reasonable and there are good food options in the theater and area on general..

Good movie, comfortable seats, good popcorn. To me, its amazing how something like a movie theater can get the simple things wrong. Brendan is not this way. Saw Star Wars IX and we had a great time. Concessions still way over priced. Large popcorn refill for $1. That was a good change. Overall, goodtimes!!

The only place we can go with our newborn and toddler to watch a movie as a family. The seperate balconies with seats surrounded by bars keeps the kids corralled and safe and ultimately manageable. This place is awesome!

The movie experienced was great. The theater was clean with comfortable seats. The concessions were understaffed, the butter dispensers either were empty or didnt work well, and the concession process were a little higher than other theater.

Great theatre with lounge style recliner seats. They keep it really clean and great movie selection with affordable ticket prices. Cheaper than AMC and Regal. We come here all the time.

The best theater in town and I’d say the Bay Area! They have a wonderful staff base and the screen are top notch the food is fantastic best a theater can provide. Have been going there for years talked to general manager he’s a really nice guy and I hope he sees this because with his service and willing to help every single person that walks inside that building he deserves a promotion! I was wondering why the lady was asking us to choose our seats as my brother forgot to mention that his favorite theater had electrical seats. What an awesome experience to watch wonder woman on the big screen. However I did purchase a rockstar just to make sure I didnt snore. Yes the seats are that comfortable! By far the best theater experience ever.

We went and saw the Lion King last night. I was surprised at how comfortable the seats were. Not like any theater seats I have seen. It was like everyone got their own recliner. Really nice place to see a movie

One of my more favorite theaters. Generally not too packed and reclining seats. Just buy tickets ahead of time to pick your seats.

The chairs were FABULOUS! Spacious seating, one could sit their drink in the cup holder and put your food on the tray attached to that comfortable reclining chair!!!

Honestly I’ve been here so many times and I love it I always have a good experience never deal with rude workers and everything is always great. This is my favorite theater I would rather choose this theater over the new Verdana or the century in pleasant hill and also you can butter your own popcorn here!

The staff were friendly. Restrooms were clean. Popcorn was popcorn. For sitting 2 rows from the screen, the recliners made it so my neck wasnt strained while watching the movie. Overall, it was an enjoyable night.

Kids love the reclining chairs. Theater was clean. I wish they would keep the concession at the back open though.

Individual recliners in the theaters, restaurant and bar in the lobby. What more would you want? Oh yeah, they still have popcorn and candy for you too.

The Brendan Theatre is a very nice place to be if you want to view the latest new movies. I went today (8/8), reserved a couple of seats and saw the newest Furious movie with a total of five people in the theatre. How can you beat that?

This will be my new go-to theater. It was spacious, clean and modern, not as crowded as The Veranda.The parking is is far better than The Veranda or Century 16.

Just saw Endgame here today. Movie was great and so is the theatre. No candy bar, which my siblings werent so happy about, but the service is nice rather than having to fetch everything yourself like in other theatres. Employees are friendly and willing to help. Overall good.

Love the popcorn setup and comfy chairs. Went to see uncut gems and walked out though. Movie was horrible. I love Scorcese movies usually. Stay home and watch the Irishman intead.

So comfy , probably one of the best theaters I have been! It has its own charm. Comfortable huge recliner seats , have a food tray also, which I have not seen in other theaters like Century or AMC. Cool ambience , food options are also great. There is cafe , and you can take your food inside the theater if bought from the inside cafe. We generally get the fries from the cafe . All thanks to Moviepass lol! Have already been 100 times to Brenden since we moved to Concord!The walls are decorated and painted all over , more restrooms upstairs, neat and clean.Across the street there are many restaurants, close to Todos Santos , parking is also plenty, if Brenden parking is full then one can park in the downtown parking lot which is free and just across the street.

Love love love the new motorized reclining seats! The movable tray/drink holder is pretty stellar. Each pair of seats the middle arm rest goes up so you can cuddle with your honey or goes down to have an additional drink holder so you can share. Snack bar is open but currently under construction. I am sure it will be bigger & better than before.

Love this theater. The recliners are the best in East Bay theyre comfortable they go back pretty far and have a swiveling staff tray with a drink holder cup. They always have plenty of registers open at the snack bar and their popcorn is delicious. We drive 30 minutes to go there because its so awesome.

The restaurant food was good but has gotten drastically more expensive than when it first opened. The staff serving in there took 20 minutes to cook two burgers making us late for our movie, the theater itself was nice, well air conditioned and pleasant though.

All the bells and whistles and then some. The kick your feet up recliners finally make the nosebleeds tolerable. Good food, and a bar. *YES* As for more space for seating because of bigger chairs...... i may be wrong, but someone get Gregorio Arcia a calculator....... no an abacus. And thanks to the annoying new standard of assigned seating, make sure to let the person looking directly at you and your girlfriend know....... that you want to sit together. Seriously, its not a concert. And considering that theaters make their money off concessions..... I would encourage theater hopping.....

Comfortable and pleasant

This is one of the most comfortable, clean theater I’ve been to. I love the fact that they have a bar, and those recliner chairs are heavily. There is nothing like being reclined with a glass of wine in your hand and watching a great movie. It’s almost like being on your couch at home.

My favorite theatre. We drive from Oakland to come here. Love the reclining chairs. The atmosphere is great, and always clean. The wookie fries are the best!!!

It seemed kind of like a lower end theater to me. Ive been spoiled I guess because Im use to Century theaters, but the lighting and atmosphere is just weird here. It is way too bright and they already turned the lights on full blast while the bloopers were still playing. Super lame. The chairs were pretty comfy though and recline which is always awesome. I liked the food tray too.

Great theater. Seats are amazing, and you can bring adult beverages and stuff like burgers and fries from the in-house bar in to the movie. We use fandango for every movie we see at Brenden!

Reclining leather seats with cuddle couches at the front of the theatres. Small cafe inside that doesnt open until later in the day, serves alcoholic beverages, burgers, chickens, etc.Cafe does serve pizza, but according to employees Sales are down until the weekend, so we put up a sign saying were out when we arent and just havent turned on the pizza oven.Fantastic customer service, and theyre listed on Fandango!

This is my favorite movie theater to go to. Its never crowded and the seats are very comfortable.

Beer is extremely overpriced. All i wanted was a beer before my movie started and didnt look at the price, i thought it was the standard 5-6 dollar but it came up 9$... 10$ if you includ the tip. Will never even walk in to that theater bar and will probably just go to another with cheaper beer. Other than that its just standard stuff

Great place to go. The recliners here are the best. Other theaters have been trying to change the recliners, however they suck compared to this places recliners. One of the other reasons I come here besides the amazing staff is the large popcorn with self service butter and soft pretzels. I can never resist their pretzels. Much larger and better than mall pretzels!

I thought the theater was really nice. The Loungers are comfortable, the sound is crisp and loud. Id totally watch more movies here.

I love the reclining chairs and if you go online you can assign your seat at a time. I wish they used Coca-Cola product instead of Pepsi but I really do like their popcorn. Everything is always nice and clean from the entrance to the restrooms to the theater always clean

I’ve been going to Brenden for decades at this point, and nostalgia aside it is the best non-IMAX theatre in the area. The sound, video, and seating quality have improved tremendously over the years and the reinvestment is what has given Brenden the edge over other nearby theaters. What more do you want from a theatre than: great picture and sound, decent food/drinks/alcohol selection, seat selection, and very comfortable seating?

I always like going to Brenden Theaters its a very nice movie theater and the seating is great at the reclining chairs and theyve got lots of space between the chairs so its really comfortable and they have various areas to get your snacks so you dont get back up in a long line

This was my first time at this theater and I loved it. Parking was free in the garage. They have a little restaurant inside to but alcohol, pizza, garlic fries and then the normal concession stand. The seats recline and that was awesome!

Nice and attentive staff every time Ive gone there! One of my favorite theaters in the area due to their comfortable seats! I pre bought tickets this time (for Avengers), but the normal way of purchasing tickets and picking seats out is always made easy by their staff. I havent eaten at the restraunt inside yet, but the popcorn ans hit dogs at consession are good!

Stopped by on a whim and was able to get a great seat. Sound was very loud so I always bring ear plugs. Gentlemen next to me brought a beer to his seat and I remembered how much I hate the smell of alcohol. Theater was clean and well air conditioned. Oh the movie was great. Love dinosaurs.

Solid theater, has a decent wine/beer bar, and seat reservations. New restaurant opening soon which might elevate it to 5 stars, specially if they have good cocktails allowed in the screening rooms.

Since changing all the theaters to have the reclining seats, the theater has gotten better. The restrooms were clean, the theater was clean. I had to plug in a seat, but I suppose thats a first world problem. Overall, a good theater.

Great place me and my son go every sunday

The movie picture quality is so horrendously bad that it isnt worth watching anything here. You would have a more cinematic experience watching films on a 3 inch smartphone screen. I am not exaggerating, it is actually that awful. As convenient of a location this is for me, I am never going to watch a movie here again, a total waste of time and money.

There was only 5 people including me in the movie. I like the recliners

Reclining seats, fast friendly service. Clean. Went with my husband and 2 friends, was standing in line behind my husband talking to one of my friends and was approached by 4 different employees telling us they could help us. We explained that we were all together but that is the most helpful staff I have ever seen anywhere. Most people try to get out of doing work, they all went above and beyond. Great place.

Its extremely annoying to hear people make out throughout the movie or other sounds. Spend $20 more and go to a motel people. Ive gave this place more than 5 tries and everytime this happened.

This is a nice clean theater. Its has easy parking and the prices arent too bad. All the newest films I saw were here. No other issues with anything. It wasnt even very ghetto.

We enjoy the recliner seats and the reserved seating. This theater is in a very good location with ample parking and many local restaurants and brew pubs nearby so you can make a full afternoon or evening of it.

One of favorite theaters. Great location in down town Concord makes dinner and a movie easy. They have also updated the theater to something like a lazy boy recliners and they serve beer only after 5pm. Could raise it to a 5 star with a more modern interior and a better lounge but we like it very much.
