[Parking] There is free parking on the street.[Atmosphere] It had a typical playground vibe with benches for parents and a nice playground. There was a community feel to it.[Safety] A lot of people would say the area isnt safe, but we felt safe the entire time we were there. The playground is big and a smaller kid could get hurt falling off the structure, so keep an eye on the little ones.

Perfect I spent the morning with my mom & son we ate breakfast and enjoyed the experience of the park no gang violence no loud music just people enjoying the day

I enjoy shouting basketball on a good, bad, and ugly situation in my life.

Its nice just near busy streets

Theres an indoor basketball court and drinking fountain. The basketball court is open Monday through Friday from about 10AM and 3PM.Theres a small skate park outdoors (approximately 140 feet by 160 feet). Theres a nice childrens playground that can accommodate about 40 kids. The entire park is within a street block in your average suburb. Good place to have a BBQ and bring the kids. There are a few concrete benches and a mid-sized field of grass.

Recommended: This is a sturdy playground with lots of different structures. It includes astro turf under the structures. There are swings and even a good amount of grass to play in.

Not a safe environment. The city really needs to give this place a makeover and have 24/7 patrol

The park is located on Alameda cross streets are between Compton and Palmer. Clean park and have free parking on Alameda and Palmer. My kids enjoyed it. Will come again.

Vary nice Family park

I try to go to different parks everyweek this park is cool not Very big. Not a lot of people. Never had trouble there despite the. Gang written on the wall which is so old due to Compton is not very big on improving there community. But its a nice park to get a piece of mind

Very nice place make sure to keep a good eye on the kids. They can easily step wrong and trip and its high up.

I have been here twice for outdoor functions with my sons family. Sunday was a birthday party for my granddaughter. This is a very nice facility that is very well maintained. There are lots of activities for small children and tennis courts for the big folks. I did not explore all the park and it is reasonably big and I believe there are other things.

Its a really great community center. Skate park, basketball court, workout machines, a small path to run or walk.

Really quiet and tranquil environment, even though its in the middle of the city the landscape makes you feel like you are in a trail in the mountains.

I was there for a great classmates funeral and Repast. Great seeing my stepbrother and his beautiful wife and kids! As well my classmates.

My dog loves this park because I allow her to run around unleashed at night.

Kids love the playground, needs some repairs. Staff is never around, if you call they never answer. Please pick up your trash people.

Nice little park, used to take my girls here

Very friendly neighborhood park, 360° surveillance great and safe for kids along with a parent of course. Theres a basketball gym thats usually open, they have stocked restrooms inside with mirrors and multiple stalls. It has a skate park, which is pretty popular and iconic to mainstream skateboard brands with an interest in sponsoring Compton youth talent. Theres also workout equipment! Ive used the arm machines and theyre pretty awesome for free public equipment. I often see older guys playing recreational flag football or soccer on the grass field with younger boys, sometimes girls.

It’s a good skatepark but the bums use the bowl as a toilet there’s always poop in the skate pool and people leave there trash I’d expect more respect to your local skatepark but I guess not....

Main park in the city of Torrance. Come here for the Farmers Market, baseball games, batting cages, roller/hockey rink, soccer. Really ready for picnics and birthday parties.Everything you will need in a park. Free parking at every corner of the park. You can also find Street parking along the neighborhood. Currently, parts of the park need more improvements and update facilities as restrooms.*****

My car got broken in and my stuff was stolen that area was completely unsafe

Loved it but the slides needed repairs badly. It is a lot more safer today than years ago.

The skate park is descent.i blade and they have a dope high square ledge from the drop side. They have a deep pool with no cooing and its not waxed, plus side slightly down straight and curved square ledges, crazy quarter that has a hubba hump on it. Gotta hit that up. Wax friendly. Just in. Compton so no blue or red clothes, no nice cars, no starting crap and youre good
