Clean, away from traffic streets, great for picknic, there is a baseball field and swimming pool, both are like purposely hiden.

Taking my kids to the pool. They love it there. Safe clean place . also they have a place for smaller kids

Not a good place to take a walk as soon as the sun goes down. A hidden place for robbery and assault at night, we had an experience there and was not nice. Do not recommend it specially at night

It was the first time we took our kids to the pool here and we will be coming back for sure! There are technically two pools one for smaller children and the other for the bigger kids and adults. I have a 2 and 5 year old so we stuck to the first one. It has shallow and gradually get deeper, but never two deep. It has a huge play area kids with sprinklers, waterfalls, a tire swing and two water slides. Technically there are three water slides but the large one was closed, Im not sure why. Still, had lots of fun and needless to say the kids did not want to leave.

Palmetto State Park has a lot to offer and a must see. If you’re looking to get away from a big park like Brazos or something more adventurous than Lockhart this is the place. If you’re into fishing, paddle boats, row boats, hiking, camping, play ground, history, scenic picture taking or bird watching this is the place. Make sure to dress to the weather and prep for bugs and snakes. I didn’t see either, but signs are posted. Gave four stars ranger was kind of rude...having a bad day happens...but you have to fake it to make it.

This park is very cool and wired. There was a homeless gut there and he kept on singing it was kind of annoying. Other than that it was like so cool

Its a fun park take your kids here and its costs 1$ per person Im over grown off my child hood and this felt like paradise for me and then on the diving boards I always took the large one just dont be scared but anyway the lifeguards are nice the people at the cashier are great you can even sign up for swimming classes here but always bring your goggles under water has alot of intresting painted/created designs

Spent some time with the LA County Sheriffs giving back to the community. They gave away food, fed folks and had a really nice time. Its nice to volunteer doing something for others every now and again.

Had a nice time. Comptons killer cops werent out harassing people. We all really had a wonderful time.

Jackie Robinson Stadium is great venue for baseball. Lots of big league stars got there start here. The surounding park is nice with lots of big trees. Come early because picnic area fills up fast. Swimming pool and gymnasium. Stay on east side of park if with the family. West side reserved for locals who like their music loud and like their canabis strong.
