I was at Crystal Casinos, last year to visit with Dr. Dre at his home in Compton. But unfortunately he was busy with his frat brothers from the Alpha Phi Alpha Society. Ill try again maybe sometime next year.

Played multiple one hour sessions on each table never had a winning session. House doesnt wash or shuffle decks repeat hands over and over. Unrealistic to lose every hand in black jack UTH and Pai gow like i have. Avoid casino. Friendly service though

Its ok i stayed here years ago, it looks like they are under construction..Next door and up above me sounded like they were doing Karate and boxing moves all day long well into the night i went down several times to sit in my car...

Under renovation at this time of my stay in this hotel. Do have Chinese foods to order in this casino. Never go hungry though the price is expensive. Behind the casino, three minutes walk down, a variety of malls n shopping arcades like Best Buy stores, et cetera. Security wise, its peaceful to walk around here.

This used to be a great staycation secret, but with a deposit and the actual rooms & surrounding area.. There are better options near by.

Although its an older hotel the room was nice , but it smelled awful. The guys at the front desk were nice. Requested a room change, but it was the hotel was totally booked. Someone was sent to the room to spray something that really did not help. They offered a free breakfast, but I did not bother. I opened up the window and just dealt with the awful smell.

The staff were polite and very timely. I checked in/ out quick, with no issues. the room was clean and every thing worked well. very well priced and well managed.

LA Crystal made my week vacay relaxing and comfortable. Neat and clean rooms. Noise level was controlled and the staff was amazing. The manager accommodated me with free breakfast vouchers. I will recommend this Hotel to anyone wanting to getaway for a night or a week. Also the shopping center is walking distance and close to fwy.

Newly renovated big rooms sorta nice views

The housekeeping staff were very helpful and welcoming. They try to do above and beyond to make us at home when we reached out to them.The front desk personnel were lacking the welcoming attitude and it just makes you feel unwelcomed. The front desk personnel has to provide the guest with all relevant information when they checked in. I was not told there is a gate code for guest to park within the fence which is necessary as the general parking around the hotel is shared with the casino goers.The side stairs should be clean early every morning avoid the smell of urine when going to your car in the side parking area. Also please the outside security should improve since the casino and hotel are in the same building but separate businesses. As a man I was fine walking from the lower side parking to the hotel through the people standing outside the side walk area . I am sure it may be a little startling for female guests since there are mostly men standing and smoking in that area.The location of the hotel is good and the cleanliness is also good.

Great place if you like tables. No slots at all. Mostly people of Asian ethnicity but thats no problem for me,all of the Asian friends Ive had have always been more loyal than any of my friends of same ethnicity as me.

Floor management don’t treat all players the same, that’s why I stopped going!

Small casino smells like smoke lots of dirty customers that look homeless that walk around and stare you down hoping you will throw chips and the floor men and security do nothing and allow this behavior won’t go back save your money go to a bigger casino with better service !

The staff is pretty cool that’s the only good thing I have to stay . We flew from Boston to come to LA and enjoy the weather. The pool and jacuzzi which is probably the only thing I was looking forward to, is closed due to them renovating and they didn’t have the decency to give us a heads up, offer a discount or breakfast vouchers . The beds are stiff as hell . There’s a weird smell in the room and hall . Housekeeping didn’t even come clean our room the first day , I definitely wouldn’t ever come back here .

Front desk staff gives you breakfast coupon in exchange for good review during checkin without allowing you to see the hotel/rooms. Probably getting renovated. 1st floor is run down. Rooms were decent. You get what you pay for.

If your going to gamble locally...Id suggest here. No fees. Good odds. However Gambling is Gambling. Do it responsibly.

If it was not for the $100.00 per day deposit that they keep it would not be a bad place. When we questioned the front desk about getting our deposit back they even denied that they required one. When ever I stay any where else I never have to put up a deposit.

I love this place because my gf told me they didnt have rooms available. While I waited in the car. Come to find out under the Google Reservations on her profile that shes still checked in there. Thanks again girlfriend I always knew you blew kisses and pipped liar.

Good hotel better to check in during daylight hours or you will be waiting. Using booking.com dont forget you will still need a $100.00 security fee to be put on your credit card cash is not excepted for a security fee this practice is common in case your a idiot celebrities trashing rooms. Yes we are penalized for this so prepare for that $100.00 charge on your credit card if you have none dont plan on staying at these hotels.

The clerk gave me great customer service and answered all my questions very easily. I doubled booked and the clerk was able to refund me my money easily and the room was clean. Also it was Quiet.

BUYER BEWARE!! I say again BUYER BEWARE! I feel like I got catfished.... By a hotel!! Hows that even possible!?! Their pictures are extremely misleading. Everything is DATED and their renovated/upgraded rooms (which we were in) are a joke! Initially when we showed up, we were told no rooms were available and the CSA even recommended I start looking for plan B. I give it two stars only because management was kind enough to approve full refund once I said were not staying in their hotel, due to poor shape, cleanliness and it wasnt anything I was lead to believe.

Great price. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Quick service when I asked for extra towels. I have very long hair and needed extra to dry my hair.

Boring so much space nothing to do

It have a big bed in the room. We get great sunshine from windows in the morning.Having a simple breakfast but I love it ,especially hot congee and pickled cabbage. I think food is a important memories during travel. And I got it here.

Would not recommend. Patched carpet in rooms. No bar. Casino is gaming tables only. Grounds are unkept and garbage strewn all over. Carpet in hallways dirty. Pay another $20-40 and stay at a better hotel. Website online pics are not of rooms, bar or lobby at this place. Only good thing is the shops behind the hotel and its on blue line train. But after dark qe drove around that boarding area but gates were all closed couldnt see where to even board the train. No valet. Behind hotel gated parking with a guard wandering around. No back door to enter hotel we had to climb long staircase to get to front entrance. Even a hill to go up instead of stairs was gated off and you couldnt walk through. Sad situation. Just in town 2 days for business thankfully it wasnt vacation..very disappointing though.

This place is horrible. I was given a room that had no hot water. Luke warm if anything. I got this room around midnight or after. First thing was to shower after a long day walking. Couldnt with how cold the water felt and worse was that shower was clogged. I tried calling the front desk but that button didnt work so I dialed 0. It ranged for a while with no answer. After trying for a while I Google it and called with my cellphone. Still the same issue. No answers as if no one was there. I was too tired to go down so decided to talk to them in the morning about the issue. All they cared was if I was coming back to hotel offering me a discount of 20%. Not good. Then after walking away other customers started talking to me about their issues and made me think of just calling in for at least half a refund. But they denied it. And they claim that they had nobody complain about the room. Smh. Shady hotel.

If you play paigow this is probably the place for you, they also have 5-20$ blackjack. Probably wouldnt come here again though as I enjoy poker and they got rid of it last year for some reason. Cant say much else about it except that the staff is pleasant.

Loved this hotel for a first time visit with my family especially two teenagers we had a wonderful stay. Rooms are clean and spacious and beds are comfortables. Parking included and free. Receptionist very friendly and courteous thanks King u made our stay delightful. Another good point the hotel is steps away from cafés ( Starbucks ) and restaurants ( fast food) as well as a shopping area if u r into getting things at the last minute like my kids .

Its really old...it looks abandoned...and condemned. My room was dirty... the bathtub was filthy and the shower smelled like musk. My room is noisy and freezing. They are working on it...so maybe in a year it will be worth staying at. But for now avoid at all costs. The location is good...but that depends on what activities you have planned and where. Its a dump.

When I stepped out of the shower, I felt a sharp pain in my foot. I had stepped on a carpet tack, because the carpet near the bathroom tile was very poorly done and some tacks were poking through.The lights in the entryway kept randomly turning on. Theyre supposed to be motion activated but frankly thats a stupid design. Kept us up for hours.Also the smell of marijuana was wafting through the ventilation system into our room.

Stay away from casinos. Go eat a steak at a good restaurant instead. It will only cost 1 losing hand of blackjack or poker.

This place only has card games,and to describe the place reminds me of hole in the wall, pretty much explains this place. The only plus is that - They have food to eat -a restaurant which has an open menu with all types of food, for everybodys taste to be fulfilled, healthy size portions, friendly waitresses.

Uncomfortable to gamble at times , the floor man and servers show favoritism to the Asian players in all disputes and the dealers speak in Asian languages about other players(Mainly African American and Mexican American Players) with the Asian players. so much discrimination. puts the casino as risk for a lawsuit. Be careful...

Because its dirty inside hotel and outside hotel also there needs to be a lot of remodeling old carpet,the shower knobs,bathroom dont even lock, looks like theres a lot of complaints while I was waiting for my room to be ready I stayed because I had allready paid but definitely not coming back!!!

Its under construction so maybe it has a better future planned, but for me it was like visiting a horror film! Super eerie!!! We stayed a night because my boyfriend was super sick and tired from driving and couldnt get us home and I had just left the hospital after getting staples in my head. If we didnt desperately need sleep we wouldnt have stayed! I can see once upon a time it was a nice place but right now its a train wreck! Parking is a total mess under the hotel. You walk around construction zones, most of the decor is outdated and looks like it was used in an 80s movie. Checking in took almost an hour, they offer free breakfast only if you give them a 5 star rating on Google but its not worth it. It was nothing fresh - some egg scrambled mixture, stale toast a bagel or two and they ran out of coffee, had no real creamer just powder stuff in a packet and the entertainment of the morning was some disappointed casino guest yelling and fighting with security staff. They had a clean bed, and hot shower so that was okay (we would have asked for a refund if not), but I would stay clear of here until they get things fixed up!

The staff here go above and beyond my expectations in every way. I misplaced a personal item and because of their hard work i was able to retrieve the items i lost. Stay here if customer service is the most important part of your experience. Rooms are neat and clean i preffer the luxury king suite. Breakfast was good plenty to choose from.

After night 4 my wife who had heard sounds of rodent activity, was greeted by a healthy mouse on the desk right next to her makeup container.The cockroaches were just accessories. She refused to reentre- the room, and went to the front desk to alert the staff of the issue. Because of my job training, we had to remain close to the area and in Compton, since there are NO other hotels (sanitary) enough to get our service we waited for the complaint manager to decide wether or not to switch our rooms or offer us a 50% discount. We are STILL waiting to move our things into the upgraded room she finally agreed to give us. My wife also made it very clear that we were not seeking a refund just a little consideration for the lack of vermin control at this hotel with potential. Where can I post the photos of this disgusting rat traps??! #Dissatisfied customers

Crystal Hotel is Awesome! They are always very friendly and the housekeepers are cool too! I been coming here for a couple years now and always enjoy my stay. I recommend to my buddies :)
