Probably the finest dirt fields Ive ever been on - very impressive indeed. The grass is flawless and looks as good as college fields. Only issue is it can be difficult to find a spot for the team to warm up.

Not bad baseball fields, but not enough room for fans, it was cramped, and no one wore a face mask, or social distanced, even though there were signs saying that it was a requirement.

Facility is well manicured and up-to-date for being an older softball complex. The dedication for making ready the fields for a August 1-2 senior mens weekend softball tournament following overnight rain remains in question, albeit, with more off and on rain in the forecast. Numerous teams from surrounding out of state locations paid over a $500 entry fee were expect to receive every possible effort to be made by maintenance staff to get as many games in as is possible falling short in their Effort.

Well maintained fields infield and outfield. Some of the best Ive played on recently. The work staff worked very hard to prepare the fields despite the rain and they did a great job. Thanks guys and girls for making the tournament possible.

Great facility, would be nice if the public could use the fields more. Upgraded restroom is very nice. Good place for a picnic or to play. Very nice softball diamonds. Good tennis courts, nice area of people’s trail through the east side of park, including the recently installed Newbern bridge. Basketball court could use an upgrade.

Just searched every page that Google displays re this park and could find no reference anywhere to a no pets rule for this park. However signs at the entrance say No pets. Would have been nice to know that before driving nearly 2 hours to get there for an all day tournament. To their credit, no one asked us to remove our dog but a message was sent to all teams at end of day. Park with play grounds and picnicing are usually dog friendly. Encourage this park to add park rules to their website.

A very nice facility. We were there for a baseball tourney and the organizers charged us $7 per person for one day or 12 per person for the weekend. There wasnt anyone at the gate on Sunday. I feel ripped off on that one. The park its self was nice and the small part of the city we got to see was also nice.

I can only speak to this park in regards to its softball complex. VERY inconvenient setup for both players and spectators during and between games. There is absolutely not enough standing room for all the players and spectators at all, especially during back to back games, with all fields running. There is also lack of flat, wide spaces for teams to warm up. There is absolutely zero shade on the sidelines, so bring your shade tents and umbrellas! Concessions are not big enough for the amount of people there. The bathrooms within the diamonds lack privacy, and are hit by foul balls every other minute. Also, if you bring young children, there us absolutely nowhere for them to play within eyesight, so bring your crayons and coloring books. The are directly around the diamonds isnt bad. Lots of shade, running room for the kids, one small playground, and one small picnic area. Parking is usually very full, especially if you park in front of the closest entrance.

Connected to the Columbus People Trail, the park had many options for family fun. Take a play break for the kids at the playground on your next bike ride or come out to see a multitude of softball events played here regularly. Basketball courts and tennis courts available as well. Also, for a small fee you can take your fun indoors and go ice skating. Call ahead for hours and pricing.

During the day this park is usually empty with the exception of the usual car enthusiast in the northern parking lot and ball games during certain times. After dark there is usually park patrol or city police around but occasionally there are some unsavory characters in the area. Great access to the city peoples trail and open basketball court but wish there was more than just the one. To provide more room for people when they are there to play. The park is as dirty as you would expect a city park to be in the modern day despite the efforts of cleaning crews. Good place to get outdoors though.

Sitting at a baseball tournament. We were way behind schedule, some understandable because of the weather. We are playing back to back and the kids didnt get a break because we have to be gone by 11. The concession stands have also been shut down after we have been here for 5 hours waiting. Not impressed. Park and facility very nice. Planning not so much.

Lincoln Park primarily houses a few baseball grounds with the indoor skating ring and tennis courts on the same property. What interests me more is the Peoples Trail running from the park and going right up to 8th Street and beyond, a distance of well over a mile. Great for a jog and cycling.
