Nice little neighborhood park to let the kids or dogs play if you happen to be in the area, but nothing special to go out of your way for. Walking loop, playground, basketball, your typical small park fare.

This park is tucked in here at the edge of a subdivision, only accessible from inside the subdivision, with a deep gully that is undeveloped. Truly it speaks to me every time of cynical developers who met development criteria without really any heart in it. Did I mentioned there is a totally undeveloped and practically unused green (in name only, most of the year) corridor extending into the development until it ends abruptly. Again...dont get me started. Kathleen Marriage, it turns out was a person, and this park is named in her honor. You could sled down the hill, and people do, except that it is covered in deep unmowed grasses that often prevent snow cover developing easily, and it ends in a rocky gully that might be dangerous. It does have a modest playground area and a basketball court.Did I mention that there is also a utility corridor that would make a great biking and hiking trail to the south, except that it ends in being completely blocked by our Congressman, Doug Lamborns, house with no access to the street and no trespassing signs posted?Did I mention that the prior access to the 2.5 acre tracts to the west has now been blocked by the latest homeowner who removed the short trail that connected to the west when he built a house this last year? All in all, a cute little park with so much more potential if people only cared to develop it, using infrastructure which is largely already available. Did you know the public land actually extends to Old Ranch Road to the north, except that it is blocked with only very awkward social access suitable to junior high boys?So best use if you dont live on the street is to drive or ride bikes in and play on the playground. Youre unlikely to get enough action for any basketball due to its awkward access unless you bring your own teams, and walks and hiking have been pretty well squelched by the lack of access in three of four directions and the undeveloped greenbelt in the fourth.
