$20 admission. Show is over 2 hours with a brief intermission. Light hearted, humorous, a little romance. Theres a cast of over 20 with multiple costume changes, singing, dancing, ballet, interpretive dance, improv comedy, all tied together to tell a biographical story of Buffalo Bill. I was shocked at the level of complexity, skill level, and huge cast. Definitely worth the $20.

The Wild West Spectacular was wonderful! An entertaining, lighthearted story of Buffalo Bill and many real characters of the west and our town of Cody. This is not just for visitors, everyone in our community needs to see this show! My daughter and her two girls, age 9 and 2-1/2 loved every minute of it. Its a must see for all. You can get a Sweets lemonade, candy or popcorn and set back to enjoy the show!

A must see experience while in Cody! The Wild West Spectacular is immensely enjoyable. It’s hard to believe that so much talent was assembled in a small town like Cody. The show is perfect for families and adults. It’s entertaining and informative. It’s funny and artistic. If you have a night to spend in Cody, you should definitely catch the show.

This exceptional production of dance, music, and epic storytelling is a MUST-SEE! I think “Wild West Spectacular: The Musical” may be the first theatrical production to open its doors in America since the vast theater industry shut-down because of COVID-19. Inspirationally, the cast, crew, producers, and director are pioneering and paving the way for the re-opening of the arts for all the cities and states across the USA; whilst still adhering to recommended safety guidelines. This show is an eloquent collection of all genres of dance and an archival repertoire of musical numbers that spans the century. A historical illumination of a pivotal point around the lives of our Wild West legends and their global impact that ignited a positive scope into the talent and grit of the American spirit! The “Wild West Spectacular” is creativity at its finest. The arts bring us together and we need an action-packed comedy like this now more than ever! With a touch of romance and endless surprises, it is FUN, FUNNY, and a WILD journey through the life of Buffalo Bill Cody. Special CONGRATULATIONS to Director Elizabeth Fernandez! You are an inspiring woman and leader of the Arts! BRAVO!!!

The script was clever and funny with a few facts about Buffalo Bill and his crew. The actors seemed to range from highly experienced & talented to not-so-experienced-but-trying-very-hard-to-put-on-a -good-show.There were one or two singers who knew how to belt, which was good to hear. There were some actors who sang in only head voices, which left me hoping they would belt out those loud, fun tunes. Some simple voice training could have them singing like pros! They all seemed to be on key when they sang, which tells me they could all learn some great stage singing! The dancers were delightful to watch, performing a variety of styles: modern, jazz, ballet, tap, etc. Many of them had amazing facial expressions that fit the tone of each dance they did. Two of my favorites were the tightrope number and the shootout number. The buffalo number was captivating and gave a change of tone to the play, which was quite refreshing.I was wishing they would pick up the pace of a few of the (vocal) songs and scenes. The jokes and clever lines seemed to demand a quicker pace, and I found myself getting frustrated that the flow wasnt smoother and more timely. However, there were a couple of scenes that were masterfully done. The scene with the ma and pa in the wagon with all of the children had us laughing out loud. Great timing, pace, and energy! The little moment when Wild Bill was trying to get at the boxer and the boxer had his hand on Wild Bills forehead had me belly laughing. More of that kind of energy and laughs throughout the play would be fantastic! The theater has a community theater vibe and is small, with a cozy atmosphere. I think they did a great job with a small space. I really liked the popcorn, too!It was so cute and fun to see the set when we walked in, and I thought it was clever that they had 3 different areas already set up so they didnt have to do any large set changes.
