Enjoyed playing music for all the appreciative music lovers in such a clean, friendly, safe public space. Its difficult to find a public park these days that is clean and the visitors are respectful of each other. There were no panhandlers, drug addicts, or loose untrained pitbulls terrorizing children or assaulting mothers pushing strollers as is the usual case of city parks I have seen in my many travels. Nobody called the police on me simply because I was singing and strumming country and Western music on my guitar. Not all of us like the style of music that I perform, but people in Cody are the genuine open minded tolerant type of people that make friendly Cody so welcoming for its visitors.

We love the City park! Great location to relax or play with kids. In the summer we enjoy Concerts In The Park, the Ice Cream Social, REALTOR For Kids Carnival, and other great events.

Great park. Music machines, swings, nice shade, open areas. Great for a picnic and walk downtown. Also has mini-golf.

The grass was a soft variety,there are doggie mess bags provided and its very shaded at lunch time.Cool and peaceful,it was a nice break for my lunch time.

Very nice little Park. Not many toys but a nice clean poop free grassy area for the kids to play in. Has a covered area with picnic tables. And these super cool musical instrument area for the kids to play. Easy to get to. And Im decent amount of parking spaces.

Stopped here to eat our lunch as town was extremely crowded. Nice little park.

Great free place to stay overnight with an RV, there is even a free dump station. If you need a place to stay more than one night Id suggest finding an RV park in Cody. Lots of big rigs coming in through the night and is pretty much just a parking lot. Very clean park with playground, fishing pond, and even an aquatic center.

City Park isnt a bad place to spend the evening, if a person is okay with the amount of smokers who also want a night out. The folks in Cody have yet to embrace smoke-free outdoor places, which means there are always smokers puffing away. If you dont want the smoke, then I suggest not going to the public events until the township adopts a no smoking in public places policy. There are plenty of indoor places in Cody where smoking is prohibited.

Great downtown park. Within walking distance of shops and stores in the downtown district and a great spot for a shady picnic. Live entertainment is on tap during the summer.

We saw Santa there today! Got some great pictures and candy canes :) also the music stuff is pretty cool.

Great park to bring the whole family.Put-put golf, $5 per person for 18 holes. What a great (and inexpensive) way to entertain the kids.

The concerts in the park during the summer is a great time on Thursday nights. With the added bonus of delicious food trucks yum!

The City Park was great! It was the 8th annual Cody Country Car show! There were so many beautiful cars that were there! It was awesome!

Took the kids to play mini golf and it was so fun. My sister even won a free game. Its just a wonderful place to go. They have a little playground and so much room to run and play. Plus all the shade is nice for an afternoon picnic.

It has a nice play area, a put put course, a cool monument that is quite fun and safe to climb and it is very near the Buffalo Bill Center of the West, one of the largest museums in the world, and it has a Chinese Restaurant across the street. This is all connected with a wide open and well maintained field with a band shell where free concerts are held. All in all this is a great place to spend time, and it is within walking distance of many of the hotels and the local businesses on main street. What it doesnt have is really only a basketball court, but it does have two tennis courts. Also, finally, it is the location of the visitor center, which gives information about the Cody and Yellowstone.

Wonderful during the summer.. Many activities for kids and families.. Community events going on through first part of Fall.. To much to say all of them.A Lasting Impression:.Our grandson age 4 1/2years, loved the kids carnival and wont stop asking when it will be here again!!!Just cant say enough about Codys commitment to families! The local community and those visiting from all over the country (even the world...), have made lasting memories at this park!**Please; (we missed a couple), contact the City Hall or Park District of Cody to find out times and events; you may just want to plan your trip around one or two of them...!

Very nice area, we saw Palomino Shakedown play here. (Theyre on spotify, look them up!) The park is nice, great place for kids.
