Great park with lots of stuff for kids to play on, soccer and baseball fields, and a small dog park. Very well maintained and clean.

Best park in town. Well lit and feels safe. Its far enough out of town that there are no campers living there

Its got a great dog park off leash large area running and a rather nice kids park for the little ones and is very clean and neat you dont have to worry about riff Raff so not a lot to be concerned of and only one way in and one way out

This is a great park . They have big soft ball fields, soccer fields, monkey bars , walking trail and a nice dog park with lots of parking. They have a covered area with tables and chairs. The bathrooms are normally clean and there are out side lights for night games .I have six kids and we have lots of softball games here . The fields have bleachers and trees for shade . Lots of grassy areas.Just a nice place guys .

We love this park! DeGarmo Park is always clean, the landscape is well managed, and theres plenty of parking. The play structures are fun, safe, and age appropriate. Our dogs love this park too! The dog park is gated so they can run loose and meet their fellow K9 friends. DeGarmo Park is has lots of wide open spaces, there are BBQ grills and tables, sports fields, paved paths for walking, and restrooms.

Walked with the ladies after work. So nice to see families out enjoying the park. Very clean and safe.

This is a roomy park for dogs off all sizes. Three entrances offer access and the park has plenty of parking. Usually you will find a kiddie pool that may or may not have water as they get banged up pretty well. Water faucets for dogs and buckets of water are available as well as doggie bags for clean up.

Clean, good shade for watching softball.

This parknis awesome. I left another review a year ago, but cant find it now. Lots of open space, great playground, great track for excercises, safe feeling atmosphere and lots of kids for my child to plat with. Everyone seemed friendly.

Really nice park with bathrooms, dog park, stage/podium for performances and soccer fields. They have food trucks here with live events sometimes and its in a really good neighborhood. Go check it out if you havent!

What a wonderful safe & clean place to take my deaf dog, Echo! He always has so much fun playing in the pool, seeing his friends & making new ones. All the dogs there are super friendly with well behaved owners too :)

I really enjoyed this park. I was visiting Chico State and looked for a local public dog park. I found this gem. It has a beautiful baseball field and has plenty of space for soccer, picnics, kite flying and more. It also has a wonderful dog park and playground. This is a must see for all walks of life.

Great place to take my dog. She absolutely loves it. And there are always other dogs there for her to play with. All the dog owners are great and there hasnt been any aggressive dogs, which is awesome.

This is a great park for the kids! It has a nice playground, a sand pit, bathrooms close-by that have soap and paper towels, a baseball field, a soccer field, and a paved pathway bordered by grass that is good for those learning to ride a bike. There is a shaded picnic area that Im guessing people can rent out for parties. There is ample parking. The weekends can get crowded due to baseball and soccer league games.

Park is clean and kid friendly. Bathrooms could use a quick cleaning though. Not terrible but not exactly clean either.

Love love love this place. I love that you can walk/jog on the paved path around the field. It has a really nice play ground for children and we frequently visit the dog park. It’s also a great places for birthday parties/gatherings. It appears to be clean and well maintained. The only downside is it’s on the opposite side of town from where I live.

Great place to bring the kiddos! Lots of thibgs to do, from the soccer fields to the baseball fields. The playground is well kept and they kiddos enjoy it lots. The restrooms arent the cleanest but not horrible either!

A nice family atmosphere. You can also relax, exercise, or bring a pet. There are also shelters for gatherings and to stay out of the hot sun. It is a nice little park.

This is such an awesome park! With a large field, big play structure, and 3 baseball fields, it is one of the best parks in Chico, if not the best! DeGarmo has at least 1 water fountain, and it has bathrooms. Dogs can even get in on the fun with the attached dog park!

I love this park. I bring my dog here because its clean, quiet, everyone seems to be friendly and theres a separate dog park. Theres also a sidewalk you can walk your pooch that goes around the entire park. Theres a play area, picnic area, and two baseball diamonds. Theres even a pond. Its a beautiful park on the outskirts of Chico.

This park is pretty crowded but because its fun. There is also a dog park here and a large field that people sometimes throw balls and let bigger dogs fetch. I went here and brought lunch and ate in the shade at a table while watching my kids either play in the field or on the playground equipment. Lots of good fun here.

I used this park to change clothes in the bathroom, from a hard Days work. The mens handicap bathroom stall doesnt lock however. Its installed in correctly.

I like this place its quiet its near the freeway and theyve got a dog park kids playground picnic area you name it you could pretty much do it here. Theres a large field to play ball in. The only thing I would like moroz is the kids playground, I wish it was a bit larger.

The park has a lot of land. A lot of sports can be played here. Like Football, Fùtbol (Soccer for all of yall Americans) , Baseball, and many other sports. They also have a nice big playground for the kids. Bathrooms are decent. As well, there are a lot of places with tables to eat, BBQ , or party. Sometimes Eating Areas or areas are the park are reserved for a event. So make sure to call or look up to reserve before hand if you are going to host a event before. Also Note: this park gets reserved a lot in Chico.

I love DeGarmo Park because of the dog park. My dog absolutely loves to go to the dog park and mingle with all the other pups in the area.I love that theres a place like this in Chico. Its a great place to socialize your dogs and something to do if youre just bored and dont know what to do.Also, its a great sports complex. I have played several seasons of co-ed soccer out here. Its just a nice place to be, you should definitely go out here if you havent.

As far as parks go my favorite is degarmo and Wildwood. My family loves it beautiful fields nice play areas and plenty of room to set your dogs lose. I mean your kid lol, but they also have a dog park.

This park is on a very nice side of town. During the summer the palm tree sprays water (not sure if it still does but it used to). Open fields for soccer and a baseball diamond.

A good place too take kids of all ages has a dog park right next too it an amazing place for holiday or birthday partys have shade and a field too play games on has so much too do there very hard to get bored than because there is so much too do if you do go there I recommend bringing your dog a ball or a kite all awesome things too have there

DeGarmo is a beautiful park for playing kickball in. With 3 baseball diamonds, we have a fair amount of space to play. The kids get a great play structure and in the summer there is a small water feature over the sand pit. Overall, its a great public space in the Chico area.
