So much fun!!! We did the heist! It was just me and my husband and it was a BLAST. Everything was clean and felt totally safe. We were asked to wear ourmasks the entire time which was no problem and I appreciated the protocols they had in place to keep their guests safe! The staff was incredibly kind. I definitely would recommend it and will totally be back for more!!

My husband and I visited a few weeks ago on our honeymoon and did Mission: Mars by ourselves, because we love escape games and do them often with friends back home in Michigan. We escaped with 9 minutes to spare and the staff was so much fun and made us feel like family. The Mission: Mars room was unique and had some challenges we had never seen before. We will definitely be back to do more rooms next time were in Chicago!

I’ve been here before the pandemic and loved it. I’ve gone again multiple times during COVID and thank goodness they ARE OPEN. They are very clean, I felt safe and such a fun experience to “escape” my house! I love the different themed rooms and interactive puzzles. It’s so challenging yet satisfying when completed. Don’t be afraid to ask for clues when stumped, but try your best to limit clues and push yourself to solve first. You’ll surprise yourself. The staff is absolutely wonderful.

Excellent service and attention from staff. Escaped from Gold Rush and it was an amazing experience for me and my family, who were there to celebrate my sons birthday. Watching him go around the various rooms to solve the escape was priceless. Plan to go back to do the other escape rooms they offer.

Did the room, The Heist with a few girlfriends and we escaped with 15 minutes left. I enjoyed the puzzles and the connection from one puzzle to the next made sense. Very thought out room.

Matt, Joseph and Joel carried us in the two game sessions we had today!!! It was SO FUN doing The Heist and Prison Break. I definitely had my wits tested, but I really enjoyed myself.We decided to hang out here to celebrate my brothers birthday while visiting Chicago from out of state(Hi from Colorado!).I can now finally check off visiting and playing in an Escape Room off my bucket list !Thanks guys for the fun!Edit: P.S We escaped/completed both rooms with minutes to spare

My wife and I recently were able to do an escape room here and had a blast! With the new cleaning procedures in place, we felt very safe in our private room and were able to still have a good time finding our way out of a secret market. The room itself still boasted many fun challenges for our visit. If anything, now is the best time to go, because your group is confirmed to not have others join, so you can have a great team building experience. Would go again!

We had an amazing time at The Escape Game Chicago. Michael and Alec as well as the rest of the staff were so friendly and welcoming! This was our first escape room experience, and we loved it so much that we actually ended up staying and playing another room right then and there! We played Gold Rush and The Heist and would definitely come back another time to try all the other rooms. They went above and beyond to give us a wonderful experience! We had to book a trip last minute to Chicago for our honeymoon, and they were by far our best experience here since we came.

Three words:SO MUCH FUN!!I recently went for my birthday with a group of 8 and the game we did was Special Ops: Mysterious Market. It was THE BEST! Our game guide Dakota was the best! He didn’t give away too much while also not making it extremely difficult to understand his clues. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this establishment.The place was CLEAN, the staff were very very friendly. We were running about ten or so minutes late and they were still able to wait on us and we appreciated that so much! We will definitely be back soon.Our group was in the age range of 19-25 so i’m not too sure how this would hold up for younger kids however, i’m sure it would be great for everyone of all ages!Thanks for the best experience, We’ll DEFINITELY be back !! Would rate it ten stars if i could.

Awesome place! The staff were super friendly and the game itself was very well thought out. We were a group of two and did the Heist game, great balance of creativity and difficulty. We managed to escape (with plenty of help lol) and they offered 20% off a gift card for visiting

This was my very first game and let me tell you, it was one of the best experiences I’ve had! You get this crazy adrenaline trying to figure everything out. The staff were amazing! Shoutout to Matt and Michael for helping my group and I out. They were very helpful and fun to chat with. They made it so easy for us. Definitely recommend trying it out if you haven’t done it already.

Me & my fiancé wondered upon their store walking around Chicago & i have just been dying to do an escape room so we booked one that night . We did prison break . First one ever just the two of us we had a blast and beat it . So we went back the next day on our last day in Chicago to do the heist . We beat it too . They were both difficult but a blast to do . I highly recommend trying at least one of their rooms if you happen to be in the area ! It’s challenging , the staff is amazing super friendly & helpful , the building is super clean ! All around a great experience . If we ever happen to come back to Chicago we will definitely give them another visit .

We’re visiting for my sisters birthday & the staff definitely added some fun to her day! We were one clue away from completing The Mysterious Market Room. Either way I recommend at least trying one room with 2-3 other people because it’s worth it. The staff is making sure to wear gloves when needed, to sanitizer behind each group, and are putting others first by requiring masks(you’ll be able to breathe).

Escaped The Heist today and had an amazing time! We’ve also done Mission Mars at this location. My husband and I have done 20+ escape rooms, and this place is definitely one of our favorites. The staff is always so awesome and helpful; they WANT you to escape, which I think is so important cause it feels like they’re on your team when you’re struggling. Highly recommend whether it’s your first escape room or hundredth.

We loved it and cant wait to go back again! There were 4 of us in the group and we escaped in time. The clues were creative and the room was so realistic and fun! The staff was fantastic too.

Kristal, Jay, and Matt were amazing hosts. My boyfriend and I did the Prison Break first and when we were done we were offered a discount to play Special Ops the same day. So much fun!! And the puzzles are definitely creative and challenging, we barely made through the second lol! Will be visiting Chicago again for this place!

First time in Chicago, first time doing an escape room and it was an awesome experience. Set up is quick and simple and challenges your brain. Employees were super energetic and helpful, made the whole experience even better!

Went here for the first time on a double date. Had A blast!! the workers are super friendly. They also enforce proper precautions such as wearing mask and social distancing. Overall an amazing experience! They are open for operation at this time definitely recommend giving this a go.

Came here on Sunday and we did the Mission Mars! Definitely a challenge but it was so much fun! They are taking the proper precautions for Covid-19. Matt and Alec were amazing at explaining the rules and making sure everyone was keeping a safe distance. Thanks Alec and Matt we will be back again soon!

Ive completed all the rooms and I like every single one of them, especially Prison Break. The staff always super friendly and very helpful, big thank you to Alec (Im sorry if I misspelled your name), always answered all our questions and treated my group and I like long time friends. You do have to reserve a room and fill out a form before entering and of course wear a mask at all times.

My husband and I have done many escape rooms in the Chicagoland area. This is by far the best in the area. We did the Heist one day and then came back to do three more in one day. We cant wait to do the last one - Prison Break. Lots of puzzles in each room. Very well designed and fun! Highly recommended!!!

We had an incredible experience at The Escape Game!! I work at a youth mentorship organization and we brought a large group and split between Gold Rush and Prison Break. Both groups had a blast! The plotlines of each room were engaging and everyone was drawn in to participate. The staff is incredibly friendly and contribute to the fun experience. If you book another room before you leave, or buy gift cards to book for the future, you receive a 20% discount! We took full advantage of that and will definitely be back!

This is probably the best escape room that I have ever been to. The staff is courteous, well-trained, attentive, and they clearly recognize that different groups want different levels of challenge. I have played Gold Rush, Prison Break, Art Heist, and Mission Mars, and the rooms were very well-designed and fun to play.

9/26 was my first time experiencing an escape room, it was AMAZING. Jonathan the manager welcomed us with great hospitality and had great energy. I definitely recommend you guys checking out this spot!

My 13-year-old grandson and I had a lot of fun in the gold rush room. If we would’ve had more time I would’ve scheduled another one. The two attendants that work with us were very nice. I would say it is money well spent especially for a teenage boy they love stuff like that.

We had a blast! We did Prison Break, it was very challenging with clever clues. It was their hardest game. We got out with 3 seconds to spare and used several clues. There are 4 rooms/areas to solve, really got our heart rates up. So much fun! The only downfall is that we had to buy 4 tickets for 2 people which made it very expensive. We were visiting from California and didnt know 2 other people.

My daughter and I had so much fun at this escape room! It was 100% private which makes it perfect for family fun during Rona Season! The staff was great but the room and the game itself supposed my imagination! Awesome!

This was my first time at an escape room. We had lots of fun especially because it was only our group playing “The Heist”. Lots of details put into the planning of the game. However, some challenges were very irrelevant. Meaning, there were things that were very ancient and annoying at times. The end of the mission was also slightly disappointing. It was very anti-climax. Also, a lock was left open by mistake. All in all, it was fun though.
