Other than the historic value of this stadium, it is by far the works MLB stadium I have ever visited. Been to 2 games here. Concession options are extremely limited. Well the folks at Wrigley Field did a great job making this a family friendly environment for the holiday season! We especially like that they hosted a christkindlmarket which included German and European arts and crafts and food and drinks. The ice skating rink was wonderful and they had a warming tent on the second walkway level of Wrigley Field. The decorations were beautiful and we will definitely make this a yearly event for our family!

Wrigley Field is by far one of the iconic ballparks in the major leagues. It is a ballpark, not a stadium. Built in 1914, it has been recently renovated to better serve the needs of the public. One downside of this ballpark is the time it takes to get to the park and the difficulty and cost of parking. Research parking on a site call ParkWhiz before visiting. There are many more restaurants around the park to eat at before entering, so try to eat before the game. The best place to buy tickets if you have not done so early is Stub Hub. Good Luck and have fun at the game!

Truly a classic place to go to! It’s one of the 2nd oldest baseball stadiums in history. I gave this three stars for three reasons. One, I am not a Cubs fan, I’m a White Sox fan. Two, the stadium was closed due to the Coronavirus. Three, I got to see a couple players from the Minnesota Twins walk out of their coach bus!! If you’re still thinking that three stars isn’t enough, well, you’re just begging me to tell you that three stars from Wrigley Field is a lot from a White Sox fan. Anyways, if you’re wondering about other things, there’s plenty to do. There’s memorial statues, dedicated brick emplacements, many classic restaurants, hotels, and fan gear shops. Here’s the catch of it all, (did you get the joke?) every single little thing to do around Wrigley Field is smack dab in the middle of a neighborhood!! There’s no doubt you’ll have good time there.

What isn’t there to like about Wrigley Field? Well one thing is the food concessions have gotten worse this year. In a season where the entire stadium is completely renovated. All the concession stands are brand new even in the right field section where I sit. The concession stands now have their own dedicated kitchens where the food is mostly “made to order” but somehow they keep striking out on good quality food. I have waited more than 10 minutes for an Aged Cheddar Burger from the Marquis Classics Stand and thought it would be hot and delicious (because it took 10 minutes to cook) but instead it was semi warm, the cheese wasn’t melted and the fries it came with were hard and cold. At another game I ordered the Chicken Fingers, which last year were awesome, but again, cold and tough to chew. I will have to say the new Giordano’s Pizza Stand in section 129 was great. The Italian Salad and Pepperoni Pizza were tasty and the salad was cold and the pizza was piping hot.The new adult beverage stands are a great improvement and great addition to the right field stands. Service is quick and friendly but watch out for the price. A double vodka and soda will run you $16.00. The good news is the team on the field is playing great baseball and really that’s what we’re all at Wrigley Field for. To see the Cubs win and have a fun afternoon or evening.Got to see Dead and Company at Wrigley a few weeks ago and the staff at Wrigley know how to handle a lively crowd of old hippies, young newbies and everyone in between. Dead and company put on a great show even tho it rained in the middle of the first night and rained for hours before the second show. Once inside Wrigley, you couldn’t even tell it had rained all day. Well done Wrigley Field staff!

First time to Chicago, which meant attending a game at Wrigley Field was a must!! Got $14 tickets in the 400 section. Seats were excellent, which surprised me, but great view and it’s sheltered in the event of rain or blocking sun. I attended an evening game and felt ambitious enough to walk to the ballpark. Now this is very doable but it’s a long walk (which I was aware of)... around 2 hours, more with stops. We walked from Sheraton Grand Hotel east to the Navy Pier and then north along the lake. Walking trail was perfect with a side for bikes and side for walkers/runners. Cut through Lincoln Park and the zoo. The zoo was free which I couldn’t wrap my head around! Lots of places to stop and take a rest. Also if it’s your first time at Wrigley Field you get a free certificate which was pretty cool!
