Blue Man group was awesome! They upheld their reputation. The venue itself is small, but not too small. The show was excellent, plenty of crowd participation, and a lot of laughs. Lots of cool drumming too! Will definitely go again.

Love this place. This is the second time we have been here. 2 different shows. Both great. Blue Man Group is great. Very entertaining show. Seats around 300 people. If you get in the first 5 rows, be prepared to get wet.

Had balcony seats slightly obstructed view as advertised but definitely could still enjoy the whole show on a budget. It was an amazing show. There is convenient parking in the lot right next to it for 15 dollars cash. Very happy I got to go! It is truly amazing how you can be entertained for an hour and a half with no words.

Blue Man Group is an experience unlike anything else in Chicago (or anywhere else for that matter). Its an awesome and unique show! The theater is cozy here but its a must see if you havent.

Great neighborhood small venue is perfect for the Blue Man Group show. Plenty of nearby parking and nearby public transportation, well appointed bar, and easy access amenities make this cozy venue make you feel right at home. I enjoyed my time here - will be back!

Brought my Fiancé here to see Blue Man Group for his Birthday. It was such an incredible performance. We were smiling the whole time, I would recommend it to anyone, kids and adults. It was nice that the theater wasnt too big, therefore, the performance felt intimate and they really made you feel like you were a part of it all. Funny enough, my name ended up on the little red lettered script screen they have, not sure how. But it made the audience say they loved me, which was a nice little momento ️

Saw the Blue Man Group. It was weird and awesome. Great for all ages. The theater is very intimate, so dont be scared to get seats in the back. They will still be good.

Took a group here to see Blue Man Group. The theatre is small but nice, and all seats are good seats. The staff was gracious enough to let the bus drivers in to see the show gratis....kudos to the staff. The show itself was pretty good and awesome back up musicians up top playing most of the music for the show.. its pretty interactive but the splashing and messiness seems to have toned way down. All in all the show was good and would recommend seeing it if youre in town.

Great theater, Great show! I took my daughter to see The Blue Man Group on March 28 and they did not disappoint. This was our first time seeing the show. She has been asking to go for over a year, and she couldn’t have been happier. I’d like to thank the Blue man who made her Year by creating her own works of art. This was an experience that neither of us will soon forget.

Visited the theatre to see the Blue Man Group perform last week. Its in a nice little location in Lakeview and was easy to walk up to! Inside was nice enough and had a surprising amount of seats, though nothing crazy like the big theatres downtown or anything. Comfy place to go and watch a nice show. Entrance and seating was easy and fluid, as well as exit. Would definitely not mind visiting for other shows!

This was my 3rd time seeing Blue Man Group, & probably my favorite. This time I had my 2 sons with and they absolutely loved it. I highly recommend especially if your kids are into music. My oldest son loves EDM & he absolutely had a blast. Cant wait to go again.

If you are from Chicago, you will find free parking spots nearby easily compared to people who visit from the suburbs. The seats are old so you will get tired by the end of the show.Blue man group is fun if you are with your family and friends.You need to see the show to decide for yourself whether you like it or not, because I know some people who are crazy about the show, while others find it mediocre.

Took my Hubby for Valentines day and we had a blast. We were right at the stage and they even got him on stage with a wig and glasses on beating pipes. It was hilarious.

It was pretty family friendly, too as there were a lot of young children. This is a great location with plenty of places to eat nearby. Blue Man Group put in a fantastic performance! Venue has comfortable seats and is small enough that there is not a bad seat in the house. Lobby serves limited beer, wine, and liquor options. On-site parking is limited ($15); cant speak to other near-by parking as we took an Uber.

Loved the show !!!! Blue man group is an awesome show. It is a different show in every city that I have seen them ! I really loved the show in Las Vegas it was the best ever with balloon balls and flying remote controlled fish . The theater there was out of this world I would strongly suggest seeing the blue man group when ever and where ever you can.

Really enjoyed blue man group here. Every seat in the theater is a great seat. Front seats get interacted with the whole time but they also interact with.the people in the back of the theater too. So every seat is amazing.

The Blue Man Group is a cool show. It is very crowd interactive. It is a fun experience for people of all ages. The acoustics were great. The staff on the inside were very friendly. Tickets are pricey, but its worth it to check out the show at least once. I had seats near the front, which honestly was cool but not worth the price. There first few rows get plastic panchos to wear during the show to avoid getting paint, water, and other items sprayed onto clothes and personal belongings. Cash bar only which was a bummer. I would recommend this place.

Great venue and pretty easy to find. First time here, as I am from out of town. Saw the Blue Man Group perform and it was awesome! Only item for consideration when coming here is knowing that its tucked into somewhat of a residential area. Theres plenty of parking areas, but it would make things easier if you research them ahead of time.

Attended a Blue Man Group show here and had a really great time. Seating was comfortable enough even for a guy my size (64 300 pounds). Staff was friendly and even funny when explaining rules and how to find our seats. All around great experience that I would recommend highly

Pretty nice theater where I saw an awesome blue man show, but the parking is small and the inside seems slightly dirty or unfinished. Overall not too bad, and considering how great the show was the quality of the theater itself didnt really bother me.

If youve never been, its a Have-to-d! Its a must! Get there early, park on the street, pay at box the 2 hours timed we the 1.5 hour show, and its even better. Enjoy!

Excellent performance, and the setting of the theater allowed audiences to have a great view from every angle. In addition, it made it easier for the performers to interact with the people attending.

The blue man group was a weird, eccentric experience. I was not the biggest fan of it. The show was too loud overall and caused me to be anxious the entire time. The music and the little acts they did were unique. It honestly just was not for me. I do have to say I feel like you should go see their show at least once.

Who cant but enjoy every minute of going to see Blue Man Group. Ive been on three occasions, and every time it was spectacular. Pricey no doubt, but you know that when planning on going...worth it.

My friend and I checked this out after the overwhelming reviews. Its a mix of non-spoken skit, lots of drum playing and exhibition of lights. But we dont get how or why the skits were funny, or at least entertaining. Yeah, the sound and the visuals were awesome, but other than that, we felt it was a waste of time and money. Its an interactive show wherein they would ask members of the audience to perform with the 3 blue guys, but it was utterly corny, theatrical, old-school comedy (eating twinkies like a 2 year old, playing the guitar like Slash of GnR, throwing paint over a human canvass. We felt the need to laugh out of pity or to clap only because we were coaxed into doing so. We paid 59usd each incl. tax and fees, save it and watch some worthy musical or a real standup comedy instead. No wonder the theater was only around 50% full on a Saturday night.

As always,Blue Man Group was entertaining,but the staff and even the parking attendance was very polite and helpful.Nice evening out!

Sat in the upper section. Awful, would not recommend getting those seats. You can barely see anything. Our kids were standing just trying to see, and of course were told to sit down. Understandable because they could fall, but come on. There were parts of the show that we missed completely because of the angle of the upper section, you cannot see the corner of the stage.

My girlfriend and I went there for are anniversary awesome show had a great time ️

The Blue Man Group is the best audio-visual-comedic-improv experience known to mankind. Hands down. Their improvisation skills are so good, you cant even tell whats scripted and what isnt. And no, their extra antics arent staged and they dont have audience members placed. I visited with a local band from Western NY and one of the percussionists was chosen for a bit involving percussion. Needless to say, he exceeded their expectations and were able to seamlessly adapt and (futilely) increase the difficulty. I would completely recommend this to anyone who is remotely interested in this kind of stuff.

The acoustics here are amazing! Blue Man Group was a ton of fun. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

This show is a must see. I saw it years ago with my wife on our honeymoon and we just took our kids to see it and it was just as good, although different enough to make it worth going twice. Definitely go see this show!

Easy to navigate, performances are top knotch. This is my second time here an it was just as perfect as the first time. Plan on returning with more friends and family.

I went there 5 month ago, and I was surprised by the decor, looks like this is a warehouse which someone wanted to use it as a place for weird experiments, starter to adapt it with connections, hoses, conduits and other improvements, but then gave up and left everything in ruin. Balcony rows are cool, hanging in open space like they are now suppose to be there. Seats are comfy enough for almost couple hours that one needs to spend seated. The depth is a little sharp, and I liked that I was seated almost on top rows, and I could see the entire room, which is not very big.

Blue Man Group is such a fun show! Ive been three times over the last 15 years and its a little different each time. The performance is fun and engaging. My 9-year-old niece said it was her favorite part of her visit to Chicago. Definitely recommend.Pro tip: Buy your tickets in person at the theater to avoid the $10/ticket online fee. Groups of 4+ and 10+ were eligible for discounts as of July 2018!

I liked it. If you have the Chicago park app as I do. Plenty of parking right in front. At 2$ an hour you cant go wrong. Got there early went to Drews on Halstead for what was one of the best burgers Ive had in awhile. The theater is a little dated but it has character. Nice area to walk around. I definitely would go back again!

Blue Man is a great show, Briar Street Theater is the perfect intimate space for it. You really feel a part of the whole thing, definitely a shared humanity experience!
