This park is ONE of the nicer parks that kids can go to and play on the slides, shoot a little hoop and hopefully SOON, we will be able to swim in the pool. This location has a great overhead for when it rains and a large enough space for everyone to enjoy.

Very nice swimming pool. They test swimming test for slide. I think it is necessary for child safety. I was impressed by this.

We went to there for COVID19 testing, so it wasnt a pleasure outing. The park, however, is a beautiful small park with a play area for children and lots of green space. If youre looking for a gentle outing with the family, this would be an excellent choice.

A nice park with playgrounds for different ages. Mature shade trees and hills with plenty of space to throw a Frisbee or football. The water park area was closed but my kids will probably enjoy that in the summer.

My favorite thingsy about this park is that the playground equipment for small kids is in its own spot so I can trust my 3 year old is safer than when theres easier access to structures intended for older kids.

I really like this park. The pool is nice too. It has a large section off one too two foot deep for kids who cant swim; Complete with a rain mushroom. Two other seconds that are deeper. The deepest section has a tall corkscrew slide so it must be at least six feet deep. The employees are kind and helpful. This pool isnt as packed as onesty in Charlottesville. Parking can be difficult at higher volume times. There are several large picnic shelters too

Nice park to walk your dog!!!

I come here a lot. Visit with different people from that neighborhood who walk their dogs, as I do, there. Always have their doggie bag dispensers well loaded and the city takes good care of the park. Nice to hear the fun and games from the pool in the background if youre in upper part of park. Lower park includes any enclosed baseball field and a younger kids play area. Both upper and lower parts of park include basketball practice areas, and nice swings neat the pool as well as a community room and public bathroom.

Simple, small, okay Park. Our team plays kickball there every so often with the Charlottesville Social League. The park always seems clean. It is dog friendly. I do wish that they would clean up the poison ivy behind the kickball or softball fields. Any time that a ball goes out, people have to worry about getting poison ivy to pick up the balls.
