I love taken my children to this park. It is one of the most diverse parks in Charlotte. Everyone is welcome no matter gender, race, age... the list goes on. You can Meet up with groups to play tennis, softball, basketball, or stroll around the neighborhood to enjoy the scenery. There a 2 playgrounds for children to play on, picnic tables, pulic restrooms and and its a dog friendly area as well. Wait I dont want to forget the new addition; a outdoor obstacle course that is loads of fun for family and friends.

Came here for the first time in July. Very nice, good size park. Its been here since at least the 60s so theres a few huge mature trees. Good play equipment. Nice tennis courts, basketball court. Theres a sweet covered water area with fountains for the kids. Very nice on a hot day. Also a building you can rent for events with nice facilities. Recommended.

My kids enjoyed it very much for it being the first time there. I loved how there is places for you to sit inside of water splash and best of all its covered up so your kids do not get sunburn. I have a one year old who cant walk but enjoys water and well i put a babywañker inside and he was all over place. Its great park over all and we def. Will be back.

Its in a nice neighborhood. Lots of room for social distancing. Several picnic tables and nice shady areas. Overall clean and pleasant

Great place to visit with the while family. My kids had a great time at the spray ground and the playground as well. Will be really nice to bbq here next time we come back.

I reserved the indoor facility for my Granddaughters 1st birthday party and it is beautiful! Recently remodeled building with updated kitchen and outdoor patio with two super huge grills! The park is also beautiful and well maintained.

Our family LOVES this place. There is something for everyone. From walking area, basketball to a large covered sprayground. Its a perfect place for the whole family.

If you didnt notice the signs, you may not realize that the park is even there because it is far back from the main road. That said, it is pretty big and great for kids as it has a decent-sized playground area.

This park was amazing. The splash pad was amazing, the water was super clean. There are fields all over for a variety of sports. The atmosphere was calm and inviting not to mention there were families everywhere. I cannot say enough about this park!!! My advice is go go go!!!

I hope they open the new remodeled playground soon!! This is the nicest park in the area. I take my kids frequently.

Very nice bathrooms are brand new! Looks like they are re doing the park area altogether but very very nice so far.

My favorite park of the summer. They have a huge field for outside sports, nice playground equipment, and the best part, the covered splash pad! My son will play in that water for hours, and still be mad when its time to go. Only bad thing is there are no trash cans in the bathrooms. Plenty outside, but dummies leave trash in the bathrooms from time to time. Excellent place to go and have fun.

Oh my goodness. I cannot imagine a better place to chill as than this one! We used to go to different states just to enjoy places like these. But that stopped when we first discovered this wonderful place!

Not the newest playground equipment, but spacious with plenty of swings, slides, and climbing structures for all ages. They have picnic tables and charcoal grills near by. Lots of benches. Its great that the bathrooms are right there - not a hike away. Theres also a covered splash pad!

New park is great! still need someone writing tickets to the yuppies across the street letting their dogs go on the playing fields, but other than that...

Our son loves the splash pad. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Parking is close. Water fountains are great for kids running around. Police are parked there everytime we have gone, so feels safe.

This park always feel open, inviting, and clean. Lovely spot to walk your pets and a nice playground for the kiddos.

Went to watch great grand play flag football. Parking was sufficient, bathrooms were just okay and the playing fields appear to be well kept.

Hadnt been there in a while. Was a member of the 108th back on the days. Brought back good memories.

I love this park. My girls love this park. They have everything you want except a track. The water section for the kids is awesome and it cuts off at 8pm. There is security at the park as well. You can bbq and have potatoes inside the building. Its really nice and something to do with the kids for free.

The renovations are really nice. My granddaughter loves it here!

This park is great for a walk or run with the dogs. Seems like something is always going on there and it’s a good heart for plaza midwood.

I used to love this park when my kids were little. And now they have improved the playground and made the spray ground, so it’s even more fun. And i love the convenient location. As all the shopping on central ave is so close and downtown is minutes away. I used to love living next to this park.

Its a great park!!! But my almost 3 year old and 4 year old had trouble with getting in the actual play place. The steps are to high for them. And the only other things they have is to dangerous for them to climb on to get to the play area. Other than that its a great park. It was just hard picking each kid up and making sure they came down a slide. Bc they couls climb down on the other things they had.

Love this park did a baby shower and a birthday party there. Only 1 downside need more shelters cause when its hot theres no cover had to shorten the party and would be nice to have some bbq grills closer to the sprinklers its shady there

Wonderful family fun park. Fun in the sun or plenty shaded spots. Indoor air conditioned section w/ freezer. My church has rented many times for our annual summer get together. Great lil kids park and water sprinklers; picnic tables, lots of well kept grass for on the ground picnics and hilly enough for kids to have a ball rolling around, basketball court, grills, plenty of parking, large tennis courts and athletic field. Clean ladies room. Lots of mostly friendly folks walking their dogs. Unfortunately the dog water fountain runs right into the grass....therefore a messy mud puddle accumulates. It needs like a concrete or plastic flooring under the faucets so your dogs feet dont get muddied up. But quality poop bags always available. Would be greatest idea if a section was made available as a dog park. Seems some hv had problems with others taking their dogs off leash.

Great spray park in the summer for the kids and adults to enjoy playing the water. Nice basketball court and play area for the kids.

Its a lovely park full of great activities for families and sports. Unfortunately, there is no room for dogs and they are not allowed to run free anywhere.

Has a splashpad open during summer. and a playset on the playground thats suitable for toddler and 1 yr olds.

Softball field, basketball court, tennis courts, and area for running your dogs are here for the adults. Splash pad and equipment for child activities are available, too with conveniently placed restrooms.

Diversity is A Great thing when it Includes Children We Had Fun

Ive been here before when I was a kid and it was fun to come back. They still have to water park here where you can run a thru the water and that was fun, the ice cream truck comes here a lot and its the best ice cream to eat. You can come here to have all types of events because they have a tennis course and many more. I will come h we w again soon.

I love this park. Its the best. The splash pad always satisfying on any hot summers day. Cool the kids and yourself off for free. Let them run themselves tired and take them home, cook and feed them. Sleep like angels all night. Wake up and do it again.

It’s a very nice place to go with the family after school, or during the weekend. Of course it is much busier on a Saturday than any other day. My daughter loves the Spraypark, and my nephews love the basketball court. I would like to get some tennis ball equipment so I can try that out one evening. There is a big field where people usually have picnics or walk their dogs. It’s a pretty cool place, and you see people from all backgrounds, cultures, races, etc. For the most part, everyone is friendly. I’ve been several times.

This is a great park! My family rented out the indoor shelter for Thanksgiving. The facility was wonderful for this event. There was a kitchen that had food warmers, alot of counter space. Sinks as well. The building was very clean. Even the bathrooms. I love the fact that the kids could play on the playground right outside. So they didnt have to be cooped up inside. There is a field to play several sports with blechers available. There is also a slash ground for the summer months. Very nice park.

I love this park they also have a new building there. To rent it is pretty costly however it is a wonderfully made place to be bathrooms at located close by as well as the picnic area they have games there family reunions birthday parties special events I love it its my favorite Park to visit

Love this place , me and my kids enjoy coming here every day. It has everything for everyone, either you want to run or play basket ball, or play tennis court, or sprinkles it has kids play ground, also you can have peaknick, get married, or family reunions hall. it all in here .

One of the nicest parks that Ive ever been to. Well maintained, with a variety of activities for both young and old. With this heat, both young and old can appreciate and enjoy the splash pad. The tennis courts are in fantastic shape after having a new finish on the deck. Plenty of areas for family gatherings as well. As a Veteran, I am most appreciative of the park and of all the sacrifices that all Veterans; past, present and future have and will endure. Semper Fi. Wonderful.. a place to spend time out with kids and family

Its a good park but it feels like there could be more. It felt a little empty

The park itself is fairly nice but the five stars is for the hall you can rent for special events. Its beautiful. Very well done and pretty affordable.

Really great overall Park. There was plenty of space and the facilities were nicely maintained! There were a few birthday parties going on and it seemed like a great venue for events like that!

There are muddy areas where the sidewalks dont connect
