Nice little park with a light waterfall and uptown buildings. Park was lit for the festive season and was beautiful. Take a stroll, sit and relax.

The park is not huge but the view of the city is great! Lots of friendly faces in the park through out the day. A nice area inside the city with some drink and food options surrounding it.

This is a really nice park in the center of downtown Charlotte. Its got a pretty cool waterfall fountain that changes colors at night. There are also a lot of different types of scooters you can rent around the area. Its got a grass Courtyard in the center if you want to sit down and unwind. There is also a lot of restaurants thats around it.

Its look clean and nice. I only walked around it but it seems like a nice park.

It was a great day of positive gathering to vote. Great speakers and lots of socially distancing. The march to The Spectrum Center was inspirational and Invigorating. Movement to vote was very smooth and fast.

Had a very nice walk around the area. Found some shelter here during some rain. I enjoyed the butterfly garden. I look forward to coming back.

Nice park in downtown Charlotte. very nice place to walk around and see the big buildings in the city center. highly recommended

Really liked it here with the green space and well lit walk ways. The local crowd can get a little crazy but overall lots of families our playing by the fountain.Parking is limited and you need to pay to park. Check the website for more details but I think parking after 9 is free.There are also some late night eating spots next to the park.Try and take a few minutes and lay down to watch the city skyline in the dark. It’s very relaxing.

Cool little urban park to alleviate the citys stress.

Clean. Middle of downtown with great views. Limited seating. Quite a few dogs around. Seems like the place for city skyline view and pictures. Fireworks on certain nights as well.

Its so peaceful and serene in the morning between 9am and 11am when Im there, 2 mornings out the week. Lots of seating and shaded areas. The robins and thrushes come near to be fed and I have a mix of unsalted roasted sunflower and pumpkin seeds readily available for them, in which they truly love. In the evenings there is way too many people with vibes and energy and spirits not too common with peaceful meek individuals as myself.

Really tasty dishes and nice place. I cant give them a 5 for their long long wait. So If youre so hungry and time limit, no highly recommend.

Very clean and well laid out for most activities and events. First visit I brought in 2018 there. Very nice.

During the warm weather months theres what looks like a homeless hangout spot right across from the 7-11 store. Lots of alcohol and smoking.

Im not a smoker but I have noticed that it is not allowed in the park. You can bring your dog there to take a du.p and thats ok. I wouldnt want to sit in that grass if I was paid too. Is this acceptable?The city should rethink that rule.Sure, people pick it up, but how about the residue?

I didnt go there. I parked on the street. But it reeks the smell of urine! Maybe from dogs or possibly the homeless who use it as a hangout. It looks nice though.

A very well designed park in Uptown. Its two-tiered, which breaks the space up and keeps it from being just a grass lot in the middle of the city. Charlotte would make the space better for its residents if they got on people for not picking up after their dogs. At times it can feel like walking through a minefield, which makes it hard to fully enjoy the open space.

Small park. There are many homeless people, as a result of this, in many places it smells of urine, the grass is yellow, and there are many dry plants that clearly need care. To be honest, I expected more.

Nice park right next to the minor league baseball field. Great place to sit and eat a ToGo order.

So we love this park, for the most part. It was so nice to come back to the hotel, walk over to it, and just relax. It was nice to see al the families and couples out all over. The park for the most part was clean. It had areas to take plenty of photos at. It is dimly lit by the ballpark led tv which is nice. What I will recommend is stay away from where the 7-11 is. There is way too many bums that hang out in that area and it is very dark with little light. That area of the park I definitely did not feel safe in at all. The rest of the park was gorgeous though.

Beautiful outdoor area in Uptown. Directly across the street from the baseball stadium where the Charlotte Knights play. Near bars and restaurants. The Panthers stadium is only one block away.

A beautiful park. Excessively crowded on the weekends, but a great place to lay in the grass with baked goods from Amelies just a short walk away.

Was here for the House of Soccer event on July 2nd. Beautiful area to hang out. The waterfall wall is great for people of all ages! Had water fountains around the area. Also walking distance to several delicious restaurants!

The park is very well kept. Safety is never an issue.

House of soccer was an amazing event hosted in the Romare Bearden Park previous to the Arsenal vs Fiorentina Game, hosted in the Bank of America Stadium for the International Champions Cup. Thanks to the Organizers of this event I was able to received a pair of free tickets for the game, what an awesome experience all around.

This is a nice public park for everyone. At first I thought it was a dog park because of how many people brought their dogs but that was not the case. Its surrounded by nice restaurants and bars.

This is a quaint park to people watch, relax and take in the sun while surrounded by the uptown building scape. There are a lot of children taken to this small park area therefore you have to be careful, especially on the scooters, because kids run around without paying attention, so always be mindful of the children safety.

I love this park I come here all the time, when Im in Charlotte this is our favorite meeting place where my friends and I hang out and go back to everytime we go anywhere, good place to find your friends and plan what youll do for the day or just hang out , take pictures and have a fun time. This park is pretty, its green and its on a great location.

Beautful flowers and quiet place in the city. It was empty this afternoon so I could sit on a bench among the flowers and read my book. Throughly enjoyed my time there. On the weekend, its a different experience...soccer games, picnics, and other group activities.

Nice park, not so great first impression. My first visit was a bit of a shocker because this park was littered with hobos. I strolled in with my family and was greeted by the sight of what appeared to be 2 hobos sitting on the ground handcuffed and surrounded by 6 police officers.As unsettling as that situation was, the 2 people in custody were screaming expletives at the top of their lungs. We found a spot all the way in the corner of the park at the opposite end of the obscenities and could still hear it.Well about the park. Its nice but lacks trees. The waterfall is awesome and there is a splash pad for children which is great. We walked around and there were homeless people sitting on the benches in every corner of the park.This is not the place to come if you want to go for a jog or want to take in scenery. Its more for the folks who live in the apartments in the area. And apperantly for homeless population in uptown Charlotte.

This is an amazing place to take professional photographs. This is one of my boyfriend and myself so many hobbies. Cannot wait to revisit when we are back in the state

This is a relaxing park in the city of Charlotte. Beautiful flowers were in bloom throughout the grounds. Cherry blossom petals rode the moderate breeze as if snow was falling right in the middle of a sun filled day. And while we were all practicing social distancing in this inconvenient time, observing beauty from a distance was surprisingly pleasant. This is a great place to visit in an otherwise bustling city if you are going stir crazy inside. Take the necessary precautions and see the beauty that still exists in an apparent stressful time.

I love this park! It’s very close to my office uptown, it’s great to walk to if you work in the city and also if your visiting uptown, a relaxing green space to take a break from walking.It’s very well maintained and I have never felt unsafe there. There is a ton of restaurants that are all walkable to and from this park.There is a cool water feature wall with LED lights there and has a great view of the Charlotte skyline for some great photos.Highly recommend if you’re in Uptown.

Kudos on a well designed park but all those vegetables youre growing to keep the place hip are gonna get eaten by rats.

Visit bearden park at night for spectacular views of the QC. Grab a bite or beer in the French quarter, QCBC is my favorite, for a perfect evening

Loved the park! Lots of space for lawn chair seating. We saw a free jazz concert and it was beautiful. Plenty of reasonably priced parking options and amazing views of the city.

I recently enjoyed my experience at this particular Park. Well small oh, it is quite gorgeous. Beautiful landscaping and the chance to enjoy some of Charlottes finest architecture. This park has the feel of a small town with all the class of an upscale big city. The fish Fountain is enjoyable spot for children to cool off in the summer months. Great place to walk the dog and sit a spell. Exceptionally clean & religiously manicured. Surrounded by many of Charlottes finest restaurants.

This park in Charlottes uptown. Usually held the some celebration by Charlottes government. There is also parking places near by. So people can park their vehicles there. There is a place you can see a all the tall building of Charlotte including Bank of America building, Duke Energy Building, Wells Fargo building etc.. Bank of America stadium is also a nearby place. Here are so many food trucks and shop, restaurant are there. Like Halal food court my favorite, then Vapiano pizzas, Queen city (QCBC). There are also some bar for those people who like drink.

I Love throwing frisbee here! This is a good place to hangout with a chill atmosphere.

It is a pretty park and the waterfall-like fountains are a big hit in the summertime. There are also a lot of little outdoor music events and such during the summer and football season. I dont frequent it after dark much though because its not extremely well-lit.

This place is SO romantic at nighttime. The waterfalls and the fountains are so beautiful. Theres also a Seven Eleven directly across the street, which is extremely convenient. Theres even a little garden (as in planted food) in this park. I dont know who they belong to, but, do NOT vandalize them! Theres a small terrace up the stairs behind the waterfall with the changing lights thats very pretty. This park is a nice, quaint place to pass time and take some cute selfies with that special someone in your life. :)

The park is great. I was there in late fall and even then it was well kept and nice flowers. It also had a outdoor fair with food, beer, ciders. The bathrooms were clear and under/near a green statue.

This park is small but such a haven in the heart of Uptown. People enjoy relaxing, playing frisbee, and walking their dogs here. Families bring their children here and they play in the fountain. There is often something going on at this park, whether it be live music or a festival. The Queen City has its New Years Eve party here.

Nice peaceful park, has plenty of benches and some tables. You can see a nice piece of Charlottes skyline.
