I have loved this place for years. Its a water fall park in the center of a big city. Great place for taking photos.This is a great starting place for the Charlotte History Walk (free, just walk up and down Tryon)

Really cool area to visit and rest for a few minutes. Lots of seating and good views of the water feature. Cool but slippery place for kids to play around the fountain and pools with lots of plants and color. Nice secluded area in an otherwise busy intersection.

Nice little park and in the holiday season its neatly decorated.

I didnt realize that this is considered a park, but it is very pretty and different to see in the middle of a downtown area. Its a popular photo spot.

The fountain in the corner of this park will really make you say wow. Thomas Polk Park is located right in the town square of Uptown Charlotte. This place is a great get away from all of the noise. The waterfall really puts a soothing sound into the environment.

Very small water park at corner of Tryon and Trade. While very small, it is very nicely done and a great spot for a quick reprieve from the day with the sound of running water. Surprisingly peaceful feel given it is located by a major intersection in downtown.

This place was situated in a nice area but the area was absolutely filthy. There was food and trash in the water fountain, which would have been quite pretty without all the garbage. Its hard to call it a park as the place was, like, one square foot wide.

Lovely little stop in uptown Charlotte. The water features do a wonderful job of blending out the noise of the traffic and other surroundings.

Trade & Tryon - CharlotteDisappointed. Such a unique and beautiful place. Charlotte has so much pride....why isnt this amazing landmark taken better care of..... its getting ran down and dirty. Please save this awesome park. Put it on a weekly schedule!!!

Great spot in the middle of uptown. The small of the water and cool air is wonderful when its hot.

Awsome little sitting area and waterfall in the time square of Charlotte! We could sit and people watch for days here.

Such an amazing place for a photoshoot! Last week I had a wedding around the corner from here at the Ritz Carlton and we did the bride and grooms first look at the park and the pictures turned out amazing.

Thomas Polk ParkThis part is Lush and very peaceful. A perfect little getaway in the center of the city. This is a perfect spot to take pictures, and the words etched into the marble surrounding the waterfall give insight to who Thomas Polk was and the historical value of Charlotte as it relates to the rest of the country.
