My family and I had such a fun time at Exit Strategy in The Murder Mystery room. It was my mom’s first time and she loved it! Game master Rachel was AWESOME! She stayed in character and really added to this experience. It was my first time at an escape room where the game master is playing a role of a character in the room. Rachel did a great job! Definitely a fun activity and worth it. It was very clean and we felt safe the whole time.

Our group of three had a fantastic time playing the fantasy themed room. And got the monthly record! Tyler and Faith were very friendly and helpful throughout. I cant wait to go again!

We had a great time solving the Bank Heist escape room. Our game master was Matt, and we completed the puzzle in 57 minutes. It was definitely one of the more challenging rooms we had ever been in. Highly recommend.

My coworkers and I did the Bank Heist room recently. Even with 7 of us it was very challenging. We had a great time and were kept on our toes the entire time. With the help of some clues, we escaped with less than a minute to spare!! The staff was great to work with as well. Id highly encourage Exit Strategy for a fun activity to do with a group of friends or coworkers.

Attention to detail is a must if you want to escape these 60 minute Exit strategy puzzles which provide team building, communication and thinking together towards a common goal. Great idea for Adult Birthday parties!

Talk about an exciting location! Ive done about 30+ escape rooms across many states so far. I have to put this in my top 5. The staff experience is amazing Rachel, Ale and Aaron made this trip and my first time in charolette wonderful. Immersion will blow your mind trust me!

I had a very amazing time here this Friday for my mom’s birthday! Our game master Kelly was very helpful and down to earth. She made us feel welcomed and gave very helpful tips. I would love to go again, because it was genuinely a great time!

We did the Quest of Honor room, and had an excellent time. The puzzles we challenging and fun, and they’ve used technology to create some really immersive experiences. Aaron, our “Merlin” really dove into his role, and made our experience really fun and cool. Beyond that, we were so happy that the team was doing an excellent job keeping folks as safe as possible from COVID. Highly recommend!

Gone was a great room! Hannah was our game master and did an incredible job and was super friendly. Definitely plan on coming back to do the rest of these rooms.

Online booking didn’t open until 11:00 am. We settled for the Heist room. Compared to all the rooms at the North location, this room was bland and uninteresting. Also, dividing the group should have been in the description. It immediately set a negative tone since we were a group of two Moms and three teens. The clues were not good and even though we had the correct code one of the locks was very difficult to open. Very disappointing, especially on a birthday outing.

Me and my 2 best friends came and did the Gone room. We had an amazing experience! This is only the 2nd escape room Ive done and it was a great time. The room was challenging, and Aaron was a great help! He gave us clues and even shared some jokes with us throughout the room. He stayed in character the whole time and really made the room. I highly recommend coming here! The staff is great, the place is clean and covid safe, and the room was jist the right amount of scary.

Excellent experience! My team was in town for work meetings and we decided to do an escape room for a fun team building activity one evening. Exit Strategy was very accommodating with our room start time as we needed a time that was different than what was on their posted schedule. We went to Exit Strategy as part of a team building experience for my company. It was awesome! Mimi was an excellent game master. Especially when we needed clues ( even though we only needed two!). She gave us hints to steer us in the correct direction without simply telling us the answer. So much better than some I’ve been in. We finished the Lost in Space room in record time. Thanks to Mimi and Exit Strategy for a great time and a memorable experience.

First time doing an escape room! A group of us went and had an absolute blast! Ended up getting a pretty difficult room so we didnt finish but we did get further than most. Our Game Master Brent was super awesome and very helpful! It is pretty expensive.. but on a day if you have some extra funds it is worth a try!

I tried out two rooms last year and they were both awesome. The challenges are ingenious, there is a dedicated staff for each group, decoration is of high quality and realism. I strongly recommend it.

Exit Strategy was a very well put together place. We had a group of 7 all coming from different areas of the county so we ended up being a little late for the initial start time however Exit Strategy was very accommodating. Extravagant escape rooms that were well put together. We did the Heist one. Faith and Brent were our game masters and they were phenomenal.

This place was great! Did the Lost in Space room with my coworkers and had Mimi as our event controller. She was amazingly helpful with clues that still made us think and didnt just give us the answers. Was a great experience and one I can recommend to others, especially with Mimi as the manager. The room was challenging but not overly so as to take away the fun. Had us all thinking and working to get out. Well designed set and props, as well as clues and challenges.

Did Murder Mystery room. It was amazing. The clues were hidden very well.Aaron did the introduction to the room and he was hilarious. He was fully dressed in character.Rachel was amazing. She was our Game Master. Her clues were very helpful without giving anything away.We will be back. Highly recommended.

This was our first time doing an exit room and we had a good time. It was fun and challenging. Our game masters Kelly and Aaron were able to extend our time a few more minutes since we were on the last step and so close to finishing. I would definitely go again.

Loved this experience! We played Gone and it was beyond scary, but also had amazing scenery and puzzles that really immersed you into the story. Our game master Pavlo was great- stayed in character the whole time, was very attentive while not being obtrusive, just did a stellar job. Cant wait to try some more of their rooms! :)

A wonderful escape room. Yes it is a little more by 2 or 5$ per person than other rooms. However if you enjoy escape rooms (and my wife and I do) this is well worth the money. What this little bit of money extra buys you is exceptional. First of all Faith our game master was wonderful, in character and fun, I felt like she really enjoyed running the game. The room is like a movie set, and is themed really well and has locks and obstacles that other rooms just cant pull off. There was multimedia uses like large tvs that look like windows showing you things outside, the immersion is great. Well worth the extra money spent. Thanks Faith!

Second opportunity to challenge ourselves @exit strategy us. We had a great service from both Tucker and Aaron today. The room we chose proved to be stronger than we were. Though, I recommend everyone to visit this place! youll spend a great moment, have a lot of fun, get smarter and might even build some brain cells.... It is fantastic entertainment but both teams and friends. Good job guys!

Loved the Murder Mystery room and truly enjoyed the beginning entertainment by Aaron he was hilarious and well groomed in his position. Rachel was extremely helpful and clever with giving us clues(although I didnt need any lol). It was a wonderful experience, and Im glad we had them both on our side!!

Went to the South location, and did the Quest of Honor room. It was so much fun! It was our first time doing it, and it was probably one of the best experiences, definitely recommend. I had a group of 4, and another group of 4 joined us. $26/person, worth it. Also, Tucker was our game master! Very in character and helpful!

Had an excellent time here with Brent as our guide! My work colleagues and I wanted a fun activity so that we could Bond and work on team building and this was perfect! Will definitely be coming back.

We had an awesome time at Exit Strategy! My team booked the Murder Mystery room as a team building exercise and had a blast - we laughed, we screamed and we celebrated when we finally cracked the case! Exit Strategy does a great job telling the backstory and gives so many personal touches that play into the overall theme - Ale’s costume was so fun and Faith kept up with the theme even when giving us hints - Thanks to both of you for making our escape room experience great!

My dad and I did 4 rooms today- 2 at Exit Strategy North and 2 at Exit Strategy South. We enjoyed all 4 rooms, but I must say Ruins’ set and puzzles were extraordinary! Taylor and Christine were wonderful at Exit Strategy North. I can’t remember the name of the wonderful lady who helped us at the South location but she was great as well. We had a blast at Exit Strategy and can’t wait to return in the future!

Exit Strategy was an overall fun experience. We had a group of three and did Lost In Space. The room was a tad confusing and probably could have had more pop-up elements instead of everything in plain sight. However, our game master, Rachel, was great! She was so helpful and made the experience very enjoyable. Thank you to her and Exit Strategy.!

Went to an escape room for the first time, definitely not my last! Exit strategy was a great mind puzzle to play with my friends. Faith was great at keeping the theme going and helping out when we got lost. Would definitely come back!!

I came two Mondays in a row with my best friend. Both times Aaron took great care of us at the front desk and Tucker was an awesome game master. We did Murder Mystery last week and Gone this week. Both were phenomenal rooms. We couldn’t have had a better time...and we escaped both times!

I did Lost in Space earlier today with my (guys) friends. Weve been friends since high school so we basically argue constantly - EXCEPT in this situation. We all united against a common goal - this is something hopefully humanity can do in a similar situation. This is the most fun Ive had in a long time. Quarantine yourself in this business with your close friends. Its worth it.

Quest for Honor was an awesome escape room. My experience is limited but it is the best room I have done. DeVonte did a great job getting into the theme as our game master. Overall great experience.

Faith and Ale were AMAZING hosts!!! So kind and accommodating! We were celebrating a special day for our friends and they let us hang a small banner for them in the hallway outside our room. They even taped a flashlight on the wall to illuminate it so that my friends could see it. Such a thoughtful touch. Our room was a blast and we will no doubt return to this location again!

Tried two of their most challenging rooms with friends today. The guides there stayed in character while introducing rooms and giving hints when needed. It was so much fun! Thanks Tucker!

This was totally the best escape room I have ever been too. My experience started when we called Alyssa and she was so helpful for are large group She was so helpful. Then we met our escape room employee who helped us his name is Tucker. HE WAS AMAZING!!!!!! He helped us so much and he encouraged us when we got to overwhelmed. His clues and his encouragement helped us escape. He truly was the best. When we got out the room he was jumping with us with excitement it was awesome. I would recommend the bank heist. And having Tucker as your as your escape room host. You can tell he truly loves his job and working with others.

Ive done the majority of escape rooms here and every time has been a wonderful experience. Today Faith helped us into our room and was a great host! Puzzles are sometimes a little challenging but always doable. Did the room called Side Effects today and it was the most unique escape room experience Ive been in!

Alyssa and Faith were great! We had never done a game before and they were great at explaining the scenario and what would take place. We did Gone. It was just scary enough and not cheesy. Would highly recommend!

I did the escape room Gone with my friends. It was the best escape room I have ever been to. Our game master Christie did an amazing job of creating scares and making the experience a memorable one. The props and music really made the game feel realistic. My friends and I had so much fun and couldn’t stop talking about it for hours after the experience. I would 100% recommend this escape room to anyone!

Allie, our Game Master for both Queen City Heist and Side Effects, was helpful, friendly, and informative.We have a small group of friends that do escape rooms about once a month as a fun get-together. Exit Strategy, by far, has the best rooms, story lines, challenging yet suitable puzzles for each room. Each puzzle is unique and fun to solve.Bank Heist: Great concept to start in two separate rooms away from other teammates. Very challenging to escape in 60 minutes with how many rooms, challenges, and puzzles you have to complete to get the Zela Heart Diamond.Side Effects: a very unique take on an escape room. Very challenging to complete a room with only two people. My best friend and I did this room together and it was a lot of fun working off each other to solve the puzzles. Definitely a blast to be in such a small confinement and still have so many puzzles to solve to get out. I will add that we are very proud to hold the all time record at 46:05 with 0 clues for this room. #CharlotteMastermindsOur group plans to be back to both locations to complete more escape rooms as this has become our favorite escape room company in a Charlotte!

There were four of us that went and had an add on to the group once we were there. The staff was friendly and fun from the beginning to the end. We did the room Gone and had a blast. We struggled w finding some of the clues but the staff were super helpful and fun. The jump scares were a really nice addition, some of the group wouldnt enter rooms in fear of a scare, lol. I liked there was more than 1 room to find clues in and look around. I cant wait to try another room.

We did Lost in Space! Went with my family for some pre-holiday boding and we had a great time! The guy, Tucker, was awesome! The only thing was the acoustics in the room were frustrating but Tucker was very helpful and repeated what we needed to know!

Our exit strategy experience was very fun and full of excitement, me and my two friends went and had a great time in the room called gone, it had us on our heels. Our guide Ale also did a great job with helping us along the way and giving us clear instructions during the entire process.

We did the Twisted room, it was listed as one of the tougher rooms. It was okay, more like the soduko of escape rooms. It was mostly puzzle work without a lot of thought. We didnt have much fun here & probably wont be back but its not terrible if you enjoy physical puzzles.

Played Side Effects, an original, two-person-only escape room. Tucker was an excellent game master and the room was extremely challenging! Had a great time and would definitely return. Its rare to find escape rooms that are decently playable with fewer than 4 people, so Exit Strategy is unique among escape rooms in Charlotte!

Had a great time here. It was my second escape ro ever and the first one for many of my group members. The room was very immersive and the puzzles were awesome. Very appreciative of our Game Masters Mayden and Pablo who were very committed to their parts. It was a great experience and I cant wait to go back and try another of their rooms.

Mimi was super and the game was super fun. We beat Gone and Amys spirit was so playful.

Mylene was a wonderful game master. We played Gone and had lots of fun figuring out the puzzles and putting everything together. Even our escape room veterans were surprised by some of the interesting mechanics they used. My only complaint would be that the music was too loud in the kitchen (I could barely think, haha!) and the end felt a little anti-climactic. I wish they could have employed some interesting lights and sound to convey that you successfully completed the mission. (Sorry, hard to describe without spoilers!) The hints were just right and Mylene gave us a little extra info when we needed it. All in all a super fun way to exercise your brain and hang out with friends!

Wow it was just fantastic I love it!! the music the scares the jumps...and I am a horror fan they did the designs etc.. very cool... plus the staff was very nice and kind..took time to give us hints we didn’t make it but I will defenitely go back!!!.. y’all should do more scares but with people in the rooms lol that would be even better!! I just loved this place!!! Me and my brothers won’t stop talking about it!
