Ive walked past this park before, but just spent some time here for the first time during Charlotte Shout. The location is very conveniently located right by 7th Street Public Market across the street. The festivities here during Charlotte Shout were awesome. I hope they do more events like that here in the future. The park is small, but nice. Theres a splash pad which the kids love. Theres bathrooms as well. Google Fiber is right next to the park.Overall, its a nice place to hang out for a bit.

This is one of my favorite picnic spots in Charlotte. Its a great patch of green space. Every time Ive been theres a great mix of people of all ages and ethnicities, playing catch with kids, walking dogs, exercising, or eating. Its also great in the summer for kids to play in the fountains. As far as location, its right off the Lynx, across from the childrens library and Seventh Street.

Its a beautiful place to relax and just enjoy outdoor. Breezy and so relaxing. You have some workout exercise equipment you can use of you wanna exercise yourself. Or you can just sit on the chairs they have set up out here and just chill...You cant bring or walk dogs here nor can you swim or wade the fountain . No smoking here either. No biking, ATVs, motorcycles, etcetera. Its very kids friendly (under adult supervision tho).

This is a nice park in Uptown Charlotte. It has a rentable small pavilion, restrooms (including a family restroom), and exercise equipments. It does have an small playground equipment, however, it isn’t a typical one. It is more like a sphere with ropes. The park also has a large field for public used that sometimes will have Music concerts. There is also a splash pad.Keep in mind that due to restrictions, because of Covid19; the pavilion, exercise equipment, playground, and splash pad are closed. Music concerts are cancelled this summer and fall.

This is a great place to bring kids of all ages to play in the splash pad. They have clean restroom facilities. There are plenty of space to have a picnic & lots of trash cans located around the park. They even have a place for adults to workout. There is a decent amount of shade but there could be more.

It had lots of little areas for the kids to play and a big lawn area for the family to have a picnic, the park was clean and landscape was well kept. It had a splash pad area as well. So if you go with The kiddos, bring a towel and change of clothes. The bathroom was gross, but when you have so many kids there, I guess thats to be expected.

I will just be honest here. Please leave the torches and pitch forks at home and respect my opinion. I really thing part of if not all of this park should just be turned into a sky scraper. There are a lot of really good parks in the area. This one has a lot of festivals/activities throughout the year. I stop here with the family for the water activities available. There are about 20 sprinklers shooting water. Lots of fun with pretty well maintained bathrooms when I go.#Fact I have seen many people sleeping at the park during the off hours, sort of unsettling but definitely not a deterrent.

This park in the heart of the first ward is lovely, with ample metered street parking it’s easy to enjoy the open space and water feature without the hassle of a city parking garage. There are well maintained bathrooms and a water fountain available which is lovely. The only drawback on hot days is there is little to no shade to be found as all the trees are still young.

This park covers two blocks. It is new, clean, and beautiful. I am not sure when they finished it, but it was pretty recently, as the photo on Google Maps still shows it under construction. They have an Outdoor gym, that is like an adult playground, but I mainly see kids having fun over there. The Google building is right by it, a cool little place, like an apple store only more rustic like the older building its in. This block is centered around an open grassy area and the other block is centered around a large fountain in front of the UNCC Uptown building. There are landscaped paths all throughout. They have plenty of benches, tables, and trash cans all around. There are also waterfountains. I actually have not seen other dogs here (no baggie depots, so take bags) but I live two blocks down so I love taking my border collie over here!!!!
