Great park with a great disc golf course. I felt very safe. So had very nice updated buildings.

Impressive. Big sandbox with 4 permanent excavators. Sand volleyball courts, incredible playground. Panthers obstacle course. Lake with immaculate views and wrap around decks. Will return!

This park is absolutely amazing. My kids ages 4, 10, and 13 all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Basketball and volley ball, exercise equipment, huge playground, pavilions, a lake, and clean bathrooms. I was disappointed there is no WiFi. We came here to do school work. Turns out we only got to play. Oh well!

We attended a small childs birthday party. It was a fun getaway. Everyone outside our group in the park was practicing social distancing while we were under a shelter. The park is beautiful, public restrooms clean and there is a nice pond for fishing with a fountain in the middle! I highly recommend it.

Gorgeous park and water feature! Really nice for a family day at the park or for a run.

Was able to walk slowly and get my exercise in without a glitch. Volleyball and horse shoes open. Lots of individuals on the tennis court. Other than that it was free reign for kids on the play ground. I do know the situation but this needs to be told as well. Oh yeah Frisbee also. So go get your slim on.

Perfect day to get some walking in! Just enough and Wind to keep you comfortable. They have plenty of open walking trails and paths. Make sure you bring a mask, they are asking that COVID-19 Rules be followed.

My kids love to go to this park they even take pictures too. And they like to watch the squirrels

Some of the tee signs are slightly confusing. Course is well maintained. It was worth the travel time . (About 90 minutes) Id like to see the different layouts on a big board at the beginning since there are two different ways to play it. Lots of overlap but can confuse at times.

Amazing disk golf course, and the facilities we passed on the path seemed extremely high quality. Park is beautiful and clean as well.

Nice spot, really pretty- plenty of shade. They have disc golf, many different play grounds, tennis court, volleyball court, swings, and its nice for a good picnic. Its fun for all ages. This park also has plenty of pokemon go gyms and stops if you play.

One of the best public parks Ive been to. Has hosted many professional and top amateur disc golf tournaments and the playgrounds have very new equipment.

Very clean and relaxing place. This park is not as crowded as ones I have visited in the Charlotte area. I spent a beautiful fall afternoon with my puppy and we enjoyed every minute of it.

Very clean and well kept. I love bringing my toddlers here to play and walk the nature trail.

This park has been here for years and it always gives me a nostalgic feeling! Although over time it has been a bit torn down, theyve also added a few good and NEW areas to the park over the years.

Clean park, great playground, nice pond scenery, and great for walks. The disc golf course is a good one to play.

If you play pokemon go, this is the place for you! Tons of gyms, stops and pokes. Also a good place to walk with you dog, and 4 different play grounds for kids.

Awesome disc golf course. Definitely a place for intermediate to advanced players, but as a beginner I thought it was super entertaining. There is a lot of walking especially between holes 1 and 2 and some of the back 9. Very hot and open to the sun so bring water.

This park was my favorite growing up because of the bike course. Most scenic Park around. I love it on those days when its less crowded.

I can not find anything to complain about this park. This park had tennis courts, basketball, plagrounds, horse Shoes, freesbie games that goes around the park and a Bmx track for bikes. Awesome place to hold cook outs.

This is a beautiful park!!! So many nice areas and very clean. All was AWESOME until we got back to our car and found it broken into and a purse stolen. Unfortunately, after speaking to the authorities, we found this is not uncommon. Go enjoy the park but, take all your valuables with you.

Beautiful park! The water is nice & relaxing. Ive seen people fish here. However I personally wouldnt, considering the appearance of the water. Im sure that sounds contradictory, its just nice to be around water... not eat out of it. Theres a BMX racetrack, tennis courts, basketball courts, a football & baseball field. A nice location for a wedding ceremony & 3 play areas for kids. Plenty of shelters to celebrate different events. Lastly, its huge, very open & spacious. If I had anything negative to say about this park it would be about how the adults conduct themselves around children. As well as the type of explicit music they play at times. Otherwise, Ive figured out which times are better to go so those things can be avoided. It feels very safe here, and I appreciate the cleanliness of this park & its restrooms. They have a Carolina Panthers themed Play 60 Challenge Course here which is engaging for kids & parents as well. The course reminds me of Legends of the Hidden Temple & America Ninja Warrior mixed together. All in all, its my go to park nearest my home & Id recommend it for anyone to visit.

What an amazing community resource! The facility is clean and well organized, all riders are respectful, cautious and encouraging of even the smallest, most novice riders. Absolutely fantastic fun for the whole family.

Hornets Nest park is a great place for families and young adults with plenty of activities and a lot of bbq areas. I would definitely recommend this park.

So fun! I love all of the space it has! Its child friendly. Some of the activities at the park are:Basketball, Bike racing, fishing, feeding ducks, looking at turtles, playing at the playground areas, And much more. I would go to that park if i had a choice. SO FUN!For people of all ages!

Great park! Beautifully maintained. Great for early morning walks and runs. Nice play areas for children, basketball courts, baseball fields, walking trails, extreme biking, fishing, Play360 obstacle course. Serene lake, with shaded seating and grills available for rent. Lots to offer the whole family. I always feel safe coming here as I see the park ranger riding through very often. Love this place!

Cool place, but the equipment is old and the obstacle course is not working properly. My friend almost died from a copperhead snake at the park! Take the snake and repair the equipment, and I would rate this a five star.

We call it the American Ninja Warrior park!!! Aside from some of the people and their behaviors the park is amazing. Theres a lake, bmx course, volleyball pits, horse shoe pit and so much more.

Spacious for all. It has Volleyball nets, a nice lake to fish at or walk around, an ex racecar field, and much more.

Amazing place for disc golf. Most holes are somewhat long though so plan for a longer round (1.5+ hours). Middle of the road as far as number of trees. Some holes down a corridor. Overall lots off fun.

Lovely park. We took the drone out and enjoyed a nice, beautiful day. Love that theres tons of area to enjoy sports such as tossing the lacrosse ball or a frisbee. Love the panthers kids area. The kids enjoyed it and it even encouraged the adults to partake for some exercise. The timed sprinter area is a great addition!

One of Charlotte’s best parks. Outstanding, world championship disc golf course. If you want a challenge, this is one of the best courses in the region.Great amenities for the family: playgrounds, ball fields, tennis courts, picnic shelters, and restrooms. There’s also a BMX track, but the hours and accessibility are very limited. Great place to spend a couple hours.

Best family fun event we found in our area. Afforable for the blue collar man; like myself. Love it. The staff and kids were so respectful and helpful. Its was my 7yr olds and mine(35yr old) first time and between the vets(kids/young adults) on the track and the staff we didnt get lost or left behind once. Thank you. We will be back next Saturday.

Small park nestled away in the outskirts of Charlotte. They have a really cool Panthers training playground which is what drew us there. Its a walk from the parking lot but well worth it. I also saw ppl fishing while we were there.

Beautiful Park in a wonderful disc golf course. That is challenging and rewarding.

The barn was very nice. Its a great indoor space for family gatherings or small events such as a graduation party or baby shower.

I enjoyed the experience I had finding out about this park hornets nests the people that run the park were very courteous helpful kinda showed us and told us everything about it the park is beautiful the park is big has some serenity to it I just enjoy going there and seeing it I will be visiting that part very often and I enjoy places like The Hornets Nest Park
