Love this park! As a dog owner, I definitely approve. Parents, be aware that some of the slides are broken at the bottom and there’s usually water piled up in there. Most of the slides are brown but everything else is nice! Right next to an elementary school but they do not use this play area. Not too busy most times, I’ve never seen more than 5 people there at once. The parking lot has plenty of space, as does the park itself! The playground is surrounded on most sides with a field great for playing fetch with the dogs! There’s also ultimate frisbee stands throughout the park. Great find!

Nice pocket park. It was a little messy when I got there, but the kids that made the mess actually cleaned right up as they were leaving. The equipment was in great condition, very well taken care of, as was the property surrounding the park itself. I didnt see any trash cans around. There were a few of off leash dogs when I was there. That can be a little scary when you have the kids playing. The owners seemed pretty responsible for their pets and the pets were focused on their off leash activities which was comforting.I grew up here and its awesome to have this park as an amenity. I hope it continues to stay clean and friendly!

Should be called the DA Welton park for all the good Mr. Welton (Madison HOA President) has done for the community and this park in particular

The playground is routinely filled with toe headed toddlers, the fields fecund with doodles, and the frisbee golf course I short and easy. Only complaints are the lack of shade during warmer months and a doggie bag dispenser that has never, once, contained a doggie bag.

One of my favorite neighborhood parks in Charlotte. Its definitely a hidden gem. Good Nine hole disc golf course surrounding a large open field. This park has a nice gravel walking trail as well as an excellent childrens playground that is well maintained and in great condition. This park is a great place for anyone from a single person walking a dog to a large family looking for somewhere quiet to picnic.

I love this park. Ive been going there since I was a child. However I do wish they would install basket ball goals. They used to have basket ball courts along with the other activities. This would bring more of a variety of neighborhood to visit the park. They have soccer, baseball, walkways, tennis courts. If they would add a few more picnic tables and grills the park would become more welcoming.
