There is a nice variety of woods in a fairly small space. Also the trail circuit has many crossovers so you can shorten or lengthen your walk as needed.

Great hiking spot. Well marked, well maintained and even has a map, has some good smooth climbs as well as flat stretches. Ice pond was surprisingly impressive in size. Bowhunting season 9/15-1/31 so wear something for visibility!

Great preserve, love the pine forest and pasture. Orange and blue trails are more dense with shrubs.

Beautiful, Beautiful Preserve. There are two parking lots and miles and miles of trails. The Preserve has plenty of wild life and youll find an abundance of peace and quiet. I typically visit during the day and its rare to see more than a few cars parked at either of the two parking lots. The Preserve is also open to horseback riding and one of the lots provides parking for horse trailers. Additionally, archery deer hunting is permitted so during hunting season bring an orange vest.

Nice wide trail for the grasslands loop. The rest of the trails are narrow paths. Very pretty and an easy walk.
