Nice little inner city park with a jungle gym & splash pad

I love Redmond park

This park is basically the heart of the Wellington Heights. Ive got very fond memories and even a scar.

Nice park, the neighborhood can be a bit hectic at times. My kids love the splash pad.

Its a nice reprieve set up . a sitting park.

I live across the street so its easy to take my grandson there. However it was full of trash and trash talking people! Who brings they kids to the park and just let them throw their trash down!

Great environment for kids to run around, play on the playground, and a nice open field for football, soccer, etc. However the housing around the park keeps you Leary of leeting your kids roam around.

This really is a nice park. It is clean, with benches, lots of room and a splash pad. I gave it three stars because Ive been there at least 5 times in the last few years. Each time, Ive heard children using profanity and adults doing the same.

Okay as long as you dont wear any gang colors. Strong gang area

The party was fun ..only thing they should of gave more than 1 hot dog ..but other than that it was a hit

Too much adult activity. All children need 100% constant supervision. Gang activity has gone down drastically.

Cute little park and nothing wrong with it exactly. Its in a pretty sketchy neighborhood. Lots of people yelling, and its sort of ghetto. There were a group of older teenagers or young 20s age kids having a very loud, inappropriate and disrespectful conversations so not a place Id want to bring younger kids. Also there is no real parking. You have to pretty much park in front of someones house.

Not much of a park, surrounded by busy streets, right in the middle of the worst neighborhood in cedar rapids.

Redmond Park is clean, quite ( most days ) and the splash pad is nice on hot summer days.I look forward to spending time there.

Redmond Park is a great place for kids. Nice playground and it has a splash pad, as well. Clean and well kept.

Great Park if you liked gang Bangerz seeing 16 15 year olds running around carrying guns and no adults makes it an unsafe environment we had to leave because I was in fear for the safety of my children

Has a splash pad always ready to be utilized...lawncare is fabulous as well

My granddaughter loves the swings and sides there, with the wide view of the sky. In the summer the water feature is a fun break in the heat.

This is a fairly small park that includes a playground, a splash pad, and some greenspace. There are no bathrooms here, except for an out house. Parking consists of parking on the street or walking from your house. This park is not worth a special trip, but is great if you live in the general vicinity.

So sorry but I have no constructive comments regarding this park.

Be very careful it said the cops whatA lot of young teenagers with no parents and you like to play with guns hanging out there actually last year a 14 year old shot a 15 year old or the other way around and he ran half a block away and died

Its a park in the hood. Nuff said.

Its nice but it can get a little bit wild at times! I live by it so I go there time to time but I would not go out of my way to go there
