This is a great place for a walk to enjoy nature, the river, and seeing some of the Columbia skyline from a distance. As a Columbia native, it was nice to return to see that they have done a beautiful job with maintaining the Greenway and have many areas for just sitting and relaxing right off the main walkway. Also interesting to see some historical landmarks and brief history behind each one along the way.I would recommend this area for anyone looking for a relaxing walk, bike ride, or a scenic jog. Great for a solo trip, with others, and kids. Ill be back to explore more of the walkway, for sure.NOTE: The only one CON I can think of at this time was the abundance of poison ivy that was easy to come in contact with if you arent familiar with how it looks or are not paying attention.

A well maintained walking path, a beautiful historic area, alongside the river, great shady spot to pass even the hottest days!

Great place to enjoy a walk or bike ride with the family. Also there is beautiful water & sky views that are great for taking pictures. Live music is available sometimes also & is family friendly. A bonus for parents, theres restrooms! As a mom of 4 thats a huge plus. Also pet friendly for 4 legged babies!

Beautiful Riverwalk along the Congaree River!! Nicely paved with a boardwalk. Great for biking and walking. Lots of benches and picnic tables throughout.

Its always a pleasure to come here for a casual stroll for great views of the Congaree river, wildlife, nature. Its also a great place to ride bikes, jog, or sit at a picnic table and have lunch.

Me and a good friend Shawn who passed away would have great times out here in the river. It is near s water treatment plant. There is a smell. Dont get in the water. But theres a quiet beauty. You can see deer if you are quiet and walk slow

It was closed due to hazardous conditions but no hazard at all in evidence. This happens fairly frequently, unfortunately. Many users are affected and concerned.

Well maintained and safe. Good views of the Congaree river. The walking trail is excellent. Some sections have no lighting due to failure of some kind.

A little over 2.5 miles from the start to the end. There are alot of info markers and one historic marker along the way. Most of it is paved but there is some boardwalk along the way. It ends in a neighborhood.

Theres a little park off the walkway we take the kids to sometimes and have birthday parties to. We love it. The kids always take there bikes to ride on the walkway.

If you are looking for a good hike this is the place to go. It is shaded for the most part and you can get a full work out. Three miles long, I had a great time.

Beautiful​ views! A great place for a stroll with the kids or dogs. Because almost all of the trail is shaded, it is a great place for running/jogging. ****2 stars until the entire trail is open - It has been nearly 2 years since the flood.

This is a great park for Walk or riding bikes. Highly recommend it.

Late at night there is alot of wildlife activity. Deer, raccoons, opossum, rabbits, and without a doubt alligators. Have to be careful riding a bike not to roll up on any......

Has covered picnic table area.. Parking for aprox 10 cars.. Small gated playground.. And two bathrooms. Entrance to phase 2 of green way (but is closed as of 11/2016 for repairs from last years flood)
