The best escape room experience. Well thought out designs and overall thrilling experience. Ryan set an amazing tone from the start of our evening until the very end.10 out of 10 stars and will return to complete other rooms!

Grinched is adorable! We took our 7 year old and 3 year old. It was very kid friendly, personalized, and had such cute puzzles. We all loved it. Ryan was amazing (again- we perviously did Down the Rabbit Hole as a couple and Ryan was our game master then too). He always stays in character and spoke directly to our kids to make them really feel a part of the story.

We did the Blackout room and had a blast! Our game master Mitchell was engagong, funny and took great care of us throughout our experience. The puzzles were challenging and the room was well designed. I loved the immersion of the room. For an experienced escape game player like myself it was great to run into game mechanics I had never seen before (though I wont give anything away). Our group has previously done Down the Rabbit Hole and was equally impressed. Our group will definately be back to try our hand at the other two rooms!

We went on Valentines day and had a blast. The clues are difficult (not too difficult) and require some thought and paying attention. I definitely want to do another room

This place was awesome! Fun, friendly staff! The room was HARD to solve, our group of 6 didnt finish, but it was so worth it regardless! Love that we could buy drinks to take in with us. We will definitely return - a great way to spend a couple hours!

My girlfriend and I went today for my birthday, and we had an amazing experience. Our game master Mitchell was super nice and informative of what to expect in the room. This was our first time doing an escape room and we were lucky enough to get Mitchell as our game master. Whenever we were stuck on something he helped us out (over the intercom) just enough to where we still had to figure out some stuff but not too much to where it was too obvious. He was the perfect amount of helpful. The room decor was realistic and cinematic. The clues, storyline, and overall feel of being in the room surpassed my expectations of doing an escape room. The room we did was the blackout room, but we are definitely going back to do the Vampire Room and the Down the Rabbit Hole room after hearing about it from Mitchell. Loved it!!! Thanks Mitchell and the Final Door for making our first experience with escape rooms one to never forget.

Amazing, me and my sister have done a number of escape rooms and this is the most fun weve had. I loved Down the Rabbit Hole and my sister loved Vampyer. Breakout is amazing and I love how they set everything up. Storm was awesome and Im sorry but I cant remember Missy?, Mitzy? The cute one that started in March. She was awesome and they made the experience a blast.

The set for Vampyre was incredibly immersive and the puzzles were just the right amount of challenging! What really made the experience great was our game master Ryan; His charismatic personality made for some fun (and hilarious) interactions both in the lobby and during our game. The clues he gave us were only as requested and helpful enough to nudge us in the right direction without giving the answer away. We loved it, definitely will be returning and hope to have him as our game master again!!

We had alot of fun here. We had a group of 6 and everyone enjoyed it. We played Down the Rabbit Hole and it was awesome. I never would have made it through on my own but with everyones help and an awesome guide (Mitzi) we were able to escape! I would definitely recommend this place!

It was so fun and creative. Your guide person is super funny and will keep you happy. I have no complaints except for the spaces are really tight. That being said I did the Alice in wonderland escape room so it matched the theme. It makes your brain work in a fun way and is better in groups.

We had a blast!!!! We went for our sons 10th birthday. We had 2 adults and 5 kids (18, 18, 14, 11, 10) and everyone loved it! We did Down the Rabbit Hole. Hands down one of the best escape rooms weve ever done. Challenging puzzles, but not so impossible that you get frustrated. Just enough to keep it intriguing and fun. Friendly staff. Tori was our game master. She was wonderful! And very patient with our kids. We will be returning. Not sure about the other rooms, but Down the Rabbit Hole is very kid friendly, but I could see it being fun for a group of adults, also. Well be back!

We did the ‘down the rabbit hole’ room and it was hands down the best escape room I’ve ever done. Each room had a ton of cool details and a lot of clues that I’ve never seen in any other escape room. They put a lot of thought into every detail and it made us feel like we were really in wonderland! Ryan was an awesome host and made the game so much fun. I can’t wait to try all of the other rooms at Final Door, & I will definitely recommend this place to friends.

We did Down the Rabbit Hole and I got to say it is the most immersed room I have ever done. My daughter absolutely loved it! Best yet!

My fiancée and I did the Down The Rabbit Hole room. It was fun and challenging with a unique set up of rooms and challenges. Anytime we were stuck our game master Noah was there to lead us in the right direction.

My boyfriend and I were bored one night and this was the first escape room that popped up and it was soooo worth it!! We did the Alice in Wonderland themed room. Our game master Ryan was so helpful. The rooms made you think but not too hard to where you would get frustrated. Will definitely be back really soon!

My friends and I had an amazing experience here! We actually went here for a double date and it was a perfect idea. The guy who was in charge did great and was VERY funny. If you get called Cinderella you’re a lucky one :)

I had an awesome time with my niece in the vampire room. Our game master Mitzi was excellent in helping when we got stuck. 10 out of 10 would recommend and we will definitely be coming back to try different rooms.

We have completed 3 out of 4 of their rooms. Absolutely the most amazing experience in all of them. The rooms are so immersive and really get you into the theme. From floor to ceiling your in the new world. The clues and challenges are difficult but fun at the same time. My girlfriend and I love this place so much and will be returning for their final room when corona lightens up.

I’ve been a few times. By far, Down the Rabbit Hole is the best room yet! It was filled with TONS of surprises. We will be going back more often! Our escape master was phenomenal and very patient!!

Simply phenomenal. Weve done other escape rooms before, but this one is far & away the most intricate and immersive.

I’ve never done an escape room before and my aunt and I tried the hardest room for our first time. It was very immersive and our game master Mitzi kept the creepy feeling alive from beginning to end. Can’t wait to come back on Monday for the chance to finish!!

Down the Rabbit Hole is amazing! That was a trip into another world!! Vampire was a really good room, too, but Rabbit Hole straight up blew me away (and Ive done a LOT of escape rooms).

Was a fantastic time, fun for the whole family and a challenging but exciting adventure. Our gamemaker Noodle was the best. Let us figure it out but helped us just as we got stumped. Will definitely return.

Finding the clues in the room was fun, and intriguing... but our escape master ruined the experience. She was impatient, rude, and lacked basic customer service skills!! She should be hire to do a different job, because being the escape master for the rooms, is not it!

We did BlackOut and it was great! A lot of fun and we loved the logic puzzles. Our host, Noah, was really nice and had a great sense of humor. Overall, it was a memorable experience and definately wanna do it again sometime.

Visited this establishment with my whole family. Our group consisted of my wife, my three daughters (ages 13,11, and 8), and myself. We chose to do the Down the Rabbit hole room. We were able to just barely escape with mere minutes remaining with a little bit of help from the overseer. The overseer did help more than I would have liked but clearly we needed every bit of help to finish on time. For the room itself it was fantastically themed and the puzzles had a lot of variety to theme. I will definitely be returning to try the other rooms!

Great way to hang out with friends! It really makes you think and is creative beyond measure. Our gamester, Noah, was a delightful mad hatter. He looked like he enjoyed his job, made the guidelines very clear, and was overall a fun guy to interact with. All friend groups should go Down the Rabbit Hole!

Just completed the Grinch Room with our family. It was our daughter’s and my parents’ first escape room. My husband and I have been to one of the other rooms and had big hopes for the family-friendly rooms. We were not disappointed! Such a cute theme and very well designed, especially to challenge the whole family. We’ll definitely be back for the other family-friendly room. Thanks to our head elf Caitlyn for a great time!

Horrible experience!!!! My now fiance chose to use this establishment to propose because they said they would accommodate us. Promised to send a video of the proposal and reimburse him as they charged him for 5 people when it was just the 2 of us. We called for a month and they would say that would call us back and never did! The place was hot and not worth it. As a nurse and truck driver I come into contact with many people. The story is always it was beautiful to get proposed to but, the final door ruined it!

AMAZING!!!!!! Hands down the best escape room around! I did my first escape room with them about 4 months ago and instantly became hooked! It’s so addicting! From the moment you walk in the door you are fully immersed. The atmosphere is one of a kind and I promise you won’t have another experience quite like this one. We just finished the Vampyre and Down the Rabbit Hole and our game masters Tyler and Mitchell were so amazing and played amazing characters! We cannot wait to come back! Thanks for such an epic experience!

We did Down the Rabbit Hole room and it was so clever! We absolutely loved it. Weve done escape rooms in other states and this place was one of our favorites. Noah, The Mad Hatter, was hilarious. He was entertaining in his part and made the whole experience that much better.

This was an amazing experience. My first time doing it and I had a blast. The simplest thing made me feel dumb lol. We did the blackout and it was super fun. Not going to ruin it for everyone who hasnt done it but it was pure entertainment from the time I walked in. I will be coming back with a larger group. The best fun I had in a long time.

So, I’m not big into horror movies and scary stuff but this place makes things so much fun! We’ve done several rooms here and they add enough spooky atmosphere to get your heart pumping but it’s not downright scary. And the puzzles are so much fun. I also can’t say enough about how far they go to make all your experiences unique. We asked them to plan a gender reveal for us with Down the Rabbit Hole and they did a phenomenal job. They made it so special. My kids had a blast and it is a memory my wife and I will never forget. A truly unique and special place.

We had a ton of fun in The Sacrifice tonight. The atmosphere at The Final Door was amazing, out Game Master (Mitchell) was wonderful, and the room was the perfect mix of fun and challenging. As soon as you walk in the building, you feel like youve stepped into a different world, and I cant wait to try out the other rooms.

I love their rooms. Each gets so much thought and planning, the execution is fantastic. The game masters get so into the character of the game. Autumn today was amazing and makes the cutest Mad Hatter twin. Her clues were just what we needed and really helped us have a great time

Mitsy was the best! She scared us and made it great! This was our 3rd escape room with them. All our experiences were great! We beat 2 rooms and lost 1 room. This experience is worth the money!

We had such a great time with our Mad Hatter, Topher, experiencing Down the Rabbit Hole for my birthday! Our game master rocked the Mad Hatter character, which really got us into the Wonderland frame of mind and the rooms involved were so well designed to fit the theme! Out of all of the escape rooms we’ve gone to in Columbia, this is definitely the best and the most fun! We highly recommend it and will be back to try the others at The Final Door! Great customer service as well, those guys are awesome!

We have done all the rooms at this business. They are all fantastic and Katelyn is an absolute delight. We went the first time and did Down the Rabbit Hole and their seasonal game Grinched! They were incredible games! When we went back the second time we were delighted when we had Katelyn for our trio of rooms! Absolutely the best escape room business I’ve been to in the Columbia area! The only downside is that now that we have done them all, we have to wait for new ones to come out!

We had an amazing time! Kaitlin ensured that our experience was challenging, fun, and terrifying all in one. We did the Blackout game this time, and Ive never felt this scared and focused before. Id recommend it to anyone.

Very creative. I do escape rooms everywhere I travel and Down The Rabbit Hole had unique things Ive never seen before. They did an excellent job not just with the clues, but the props and ambiance as well. Noah, our madhatter, was a hoot. Loved this room. Ill be coming back to this location for sure!

Such a wonderful experience! We had family in town for the holidays and decided to try the Grinch-themed family-friendly escape room with our 7 and 8yo kids. It did not disappoint. It was challenging, but Katelynn the Elf was so kind and helpful, giving the kids little clues throughout the game. My kids are already begging to go back.

My family and I had booked the Grinched escape room for Christmas Eve. It was led by the enthusiastic and funny Ryan, who made the entire experience very enjoyable.Because we were having so much fun, we booked another escape room, Down the Rabbit Hole, for later in the day. This with led by the very funny Mitchell, who kept us laughing the entire time.We had an excellent experience in both rooms and would highly recommend The Final Door escape rooms to anyone looking for something different and original.

Last night my family joined another couple we are friends with and their child for the Grinch themed escape room. I have never done an escape room before but I was very impressed and the amount of enthusiasm from Ryan AKA Elf Sparkle nugget made the experience that much more enjoyable. I cant wait to go back and try all of the rooms even the crazy adult ones Ive heard about with Murder Mysteries and what not. It was such a great time with the family I cant wait to go back!

The game master, Mitchell was awesome. Played the characters well and was overall a spectacular time. Each room was a new and exciting mystery! Greatest part of it was alcohol was allowed with you in the room.

SO impressed and cannot recommend this escape room enough. There are a lot of escape room options around, but Final Door is by far the best weve been to. Youre immersed into the theme as soon as you start and the amount of creativity they put into each room is impressive.If youre looking for a well-executed creative challenge, start with The Final Door. Topher is THE BEST game master and Down the Rabbit Hole and Blackout were my favorites, but theyre all very good. Would LOVE to see a Star Wars themed room.

Final door is the best escape room in Columbia, My wife and I just finished 4 out of the 4 rooms they offer and we were not dissatisfied with a single one, every single one defied our expectation. If this is your first escape opportunity I highly recommend and if you are a highly seasoned escape vet I still highly recommend.Our gamemaster for 3 of the 4 was the one the only Mitchell. If you have the pleasure of having him as your game master he will make it his objective to immerse you in the scenario of the room and is in general funny and light-hearted. If you are reading this is and thinking about going, dont think about it any longer.

I took my 12 and 10 year old nieces and my 6 y/o nephew to the Grinched room. It was plenty difficult but the youngest one was able to solve puzzles and participate fully as well. They LOVED it and were sad to see it end.I’m a teacher, so I was evaluating the room based on age appropriateness. I felt the Final Room team did a fabulous job of making to room fun but challenging for the ages they advertised for.Elf Kaitlyn was a superb and patient helper when we got stuck or were headed in a wrong direction. She kept us on track and not once did she let the kids get to the point of frustration.Kudos to the team at Final Door. Thank you for making our first escape room experience such a wonderful family memory. We’ll be back!

Went as a group with my coworkers to do the sacrifice room and had a great time! Kaitlyn was incredible and really helped us to have an awesome first ever escape room, would highly recommend! Especially her!

I have enjoyed playing each and every room this place has opened. I would say my personal favorite is Vampyr. If you’ve never played an escape room, come here. If you’re an enthusiast, come here. I highly recommend The Final Door.

The Sacrifice was THE BEST escape room we’ve been to! Spooky atmosphere and challenging enough for a group of adults to be totally engaged and entertained. It had lots of aspects that other places don’t! Our game master Mitchell was really friendly. Thanks Mitchell!

The Final Door was our first Escape Room 2 years ago. It was so much fun:1. It whet our appetite to try more Escape Rooms all over the southeast. (About 20)2. It became the standard to which we compare all the others.Although we have enjoyed many more, “Sacrifice” at Final Door remains our favorite.Great job, ladies.

Surprise adventure from my love for my birthday on 8/17. He chose The Sacrifice run by Kaitlyn (although I may have the spelling wrong) & it was fabulous. 10/10 would do again. We had 6 of us in the party & finished with 1 second left. Barely escaped & that was on easy mode. Will be coming back to run the other three! Thank you guys for a surprisingly hard time & making my birthday great. Appreciate the personal touch in the room & the alcohol too.

LET ME TELL YOU HOW COOL THIS ROOM IS. My team did Down the Rabbit Hole and it is as trippy as going to Wonderland!! This would be a great room for groups playing with kids. More experienced escape room goers will love the atmosphere and lack of traditional locks. I will say if you have done A LOT of escape rooms the puzzles might be on the easier side for you, but I would still recommend trying this room just for the ambience. My team is excited to go back and do the other remaining rooms with Final Door, and hope to return sometime soon!

Had a really good time at the final door my whole family enjoyed two amazing rooms with good helpfully and friendly game Masters and they even let us solve most the puzzles on our own only helping if we truly needed it

Ryan was a great game master. Down the Rabbit Hole is a phenomenal escape room and I highly recommend it. Fit 5 adults with a bunch of space leftover. The room has Creative challenges, and great ambiance. Planning on coming back and doing the others available.If youre looking to up your escape room experiences this is the place to go. This place was great!! Best escape room Ive been to. Multi room puzzles, and multiple themed puzzles to choose from. You can drink/have them hide drinks for you to find while youre playing. Good people running the place. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great escape room experience.

This was my first time doing an escape room. If you’ve never done one, you’ve got to try it. We went as a family for my son’s birthday. We did The Vampire room. We all had such a great time and Topher was an awesome host. I Can’t wait to do it again.

The puzzles were well thought out and just difficult enough to make it fun!Katelynn our game master made it so much fun! She didnt push hints and only asked if she felt we were struggling!10/10 would definitely recommend and will be going back!

Ive done a LOT of escape rooms and these were some of the best and most creative! We did Blackout, Sacrifice, and Down the Rabbit Hole and they were awesome. Especially the last one. Caitlin was a great game master as well.

Ive done maybe 10 escape rooms between 6 different locations. This is the best location that Ive been to - the rooms are truly top notch. Guaranteed great experience

Great experience. My husband and i went and did blackout last night, great room. Overall the room was fun & tricky, definitely has some exciting things going on our game host was Ryan, he was amazing. Super attentive, very funny, helpful and made the experience far more enjoyable with his personality alone. We will definitely be back, were super excited to try the Alice and wonderland room next. I will definitely be recommending to my friends and family to come and enjoy this. I also thought hiding bevereges in the rooms to find was another extremely neat factor at this escape room. If i were to change anything at all, I think if pairs are set up in a room where someone in the party has done the room before then the room should at least be half off or something. I can see how players would be disappointed to pay $30 and a random stranger is giving all the answers or at least nudging towards the way.

Noah was literally the best game master and 100% deserves the $5 bonus that comes from his name being included in this review. The rooms are just hard enough to make you feel smart and incredibly creative.

AMAZING escape room experience at Final Door. Their attention to detail in set design and gameplay will seriously blow you away! All of the rooms are fantastic, but I just did Down the Rabbit Hole, and it was my favorite of all! BIG WOW!If you like games at all, or even if you don’t, you have to go escape from Final Door. It is, hands-down, the best place to have fun in Columbia.

Probably the best escape room around in South Carolina. Everything is hand done with regards to the experience and its just a good atmosphere. They are good at their jobs and every room is enjoyable.

A hole in the wall that one might not notice driving by, but looks can be deceiving. The ownership put a GREAT amount of time and money into making these escape rooms amazing. I appreciate them all in spite of the (apparent) insult of being called a potato farmer (seriously?? People gotta make a living somehow)

Fun times! I was generally scared. Ryan is a great host and is a natural at this job. Sacrifice was freaky and well designed. I am hooked on these rooms, so happy my fiance introduced me to them.
